Probably more bots than legit players quitting, ratio-wise.

Criticizing for saying the update would come out on a Monday, then saying it'll be out on a...Saturday... Even though it's not out today, they still know what they're talking about more than you do.

I would turn them off except for the mime, the maze, and the some others. You'd have to keep events like the ent, because that's mainly to keep people paying attention to the computer.

This makes me wonder how many other awesome bugs there are that nobody's discovered yet.

Dude, seriously.. just because it wasn't released recently doesn't mean it isn't related to Summoning. It has kind of been in the works for quite some time, you know.. a couple of years, actually. Wait.... what? Only Lunar_Drifter has the superior structural integrity required in order to have an argument with himself. Back on topic: It may be that the code for the cleaner is a disguised prototype for the code for a item-picker-upper, and that would be a great feature for Summoning. Can you imagine woodcutting and your familiar picks up the nest, and also takes out the item inside to give to you? That's a little too convenient. Next thing you know, people will expect their hp to be replenished by a familiar fishing, cooking, chewing, then feeding them via funnel. Actually now that you mention it...

Feels like Christmas again, don't it? Except in this case, your parents refuse to give you a more specific date than this week for when Christmas is. Edit: Why would you wait outside of the shop? There's no guarentee you'll be able to use pets without a summoning level, and the quest starts in Taverly. Personally, I'm waiting at the herblore shop. I saw on Jagex's knowledge base map that there are two quests starting in that building, but there's only one in the game.

Where do you see any mention of player vs player combat in this?

We need to have a sticky for Jagex conspiracies and deceptive practices where all the paranoid players can hang out (and those who claim to have quit a long time ago, they swear)

I'm thinking either the Elven city or the island from the varrok museum. Both would be considered places less traveled too because of the quest and skill requirements to get to each.

I used to be paranoid about that, so I'd say my public chat was off if someone started following me at any point. Now that autoers are no longer a threat, I'm not worried about being falsely banned for macroing because I didn't respond to someone. I do, however, watch very closely what I say.

Great ideas, with their respective creators, but the thread needs to be updated. The wilderness sign is a bit obsolete now that players can't attack you in the wilderness.

I checked your chat log, and you're not a player mod, so no worries there.

If you want to make money off of selling virtual items, go to Second Life where it's actually legal. Hell, they could sell virtual versions of those asian tatoos people like so much in real life. Point being, with so many legitimate online options, you will never convince me that this is their only choice. They're simply criminals who have no regard for laws in other countries, and for that I could care less if they eat tonight because their accounts got banned and they got fired (In fact I reported them with that intent) Say what you want about turning to crime because there are no jobs, but a crime is still a crime, no matter the intention or reasoning behind it. And when it really comes down to it, we're not hurting them. They'll just move on to a different game (Granted, goldfarmers were a lot easier to harass in Wow)

They're meant to simulate players, which means they have the same restrictions as players (IE: Can't pk outside the wilderness) So they won't be pking outside the wilderness, as long as you hope that Revenants don't discover the joy of player owned houses and lag.

I hoped the "go karamthulu I choose you" was just a player talking...It was Now I'm hoping it's just a goof before summoning is released, and this is all an easter egg.
