  1. I hope this isn't a joke  Of course not. You heard MMG, cabbage is a very serious topic.
  2. A /b/tard talking about maturity. Stop talking, now.
  3. Well look at it this way: Mod Mark Gerhard wants to improve f2p, and who better to give feedback than f2p'ers? What are they going to do, send them an email through the nonexistant customer support feedback center? Jagex is aware of throwaway accounts, and I'm sure one or two will inevitably slip through, so I'm sure the forum moderators and Jmods will be on the prowl for the first week or so. Adding in high level free players would be putting a thin piece of Iceberg lettuce on the giant turd sandwich that is the RSOF. The forums could use a few more mature players on it. Granted, if the RSOF qualification for "high level" is the same as how Jagex sees quests as "high level", then you can say goodbye to the RSOF when Gordon Brown launches a contingency plan and bombs the RSOF as a last ditch cleanup effort, ala Raccoon City in Resident Evil.
  4. I hope part of those cheat codes will allow you to spawn creatures. King Black Dragon in Lumbridge on launch day waiting for the noobs ftw.
  5. Technically doesn't Runescape Classic only run on private servers right now? The two Jagex servers aren't open to the public, just a small group, so they're technically private. I still stand by the fact that the majority will play classic cheat server once, get bored, and move on. The rest will make screenshots of themselves saying "Look I played during classic, and I wuz rich! n00b!" Fake RSC elitism. Worse than people who do that that actually played classic.
  6. I'm just saying, this isn't the kind of thing you boast to people on a forum about. It's like getting scammed by a Nigerian 419'er, you just don't admit to people that you have that little common sense.
  7. I must be suffering from the Stupid. What is the flaw again? Is it that people still don't pay attention to the warnings?
  8. that sums up your rants. And if you think players are being ignored, you need to stop going on 5 month leaves from tip.it, you haven't met Mod MMG
  9. I'm sure there's a flaw hidden somewhere deep within that security measure.... pretty sure. Player 1 puts up money Player 2 puts up junk and mace Player 2 replaces mace, red exclamation point flashes (Red Flag #1) Both players hit accept, trade goes to second screen Player 2's list includes junk and "ancient mace" (Red flag #2) There's only so much Jagex can do to reduce scamming, but the players need to have at least an OUNCE of common sense and use those systems. If you fall for a scam in today's Runescape, you shouldn't be using the internet, it's too dangerous for you.
  10. It's amazing that in an age of flashing exclamation points, trade limits, and the second trade screen, that there are still item scams going on. We're talking a new level of stupid here. =D>

If one of those three computers is a lap-top, just park it next to one of the desk-tops and surf on one while playing on the other. If not, then...what the hell are you doing with three desk-tops at home? I have a netbook (tiny laptop) and a portable dvd player I use as a tv. So I can surf the net (Or do my homework), and watch House while I Runescape. It's the ultimate entertainment system, imo.
  12. There are several threads on the rsc forums that have the agreement of most, if not all active (real, not bot) players on rsc. It's the overwhelming support that managed to get Mod MMG and Jagex's attention well before he did the Runescape Classic Q and A. As for the phone subject; the point I was trying to make was that the difference was choice. Now if the company had competition, then yes they would be rewarding you for loyalty, sticking with them. In your argument, you stick with them because there are no other alternatives, not because of loyalty.
  13. Perhaps I should've been more clear. I didn't mean I'd be offended by such an item, merely that many players are elitist enough already. Your loyalty paragraph is dead wrong, however. Let's compare this to another example- phone service. For seven years I've had crappy phone service. I keep paying the same company too much money for too low quality audio, reliability, and especially customer service. Just because I've been with them the last several years does not say anything about my loyalty, as I would likely jump to any new company that came to town. Someone who has moved into my neighborhood recently will not have had to spend as much money or time on this company, and will be slower to switch than an agitated me. So when the choice arises, who's the more loyal one? Is it me, who just has no other option, or is it the newer guy who is currently content? Time and loyalty are not the same. You are right, there are a lot of elitist players. They should not, however, be taken into the equation when deciding how the rest of us, no matter how small our group is, get treated. The two have nothing to do with one another. The difference is that with your phone analogy, there is no other choice. In Runescape, you can jump ship at any time, and find a replacement game in about 10 minutes. So your argument using the phone is invalid. The loyal players are the ones who join and stick with Jagex, newer players who did not join in Classic will eventually be proven loyal, they are just victims of circumstance, have not had the chance to prove themselves. Is it fair? Maybe not, but it's something people are just going to have to deal with, as Jagex is going to put the plan into action whether or not a bunch of rs2 products like it, it's something the classic community (on the rsc forums) has been asking for for years now.
  14. A lot of people missed those, they had quite a limited release. This would cover everyone who could, or still can, play Classic. I have faith Jagex will give it to everyone who either joined during classic, or is still active on the two remaining worlds. They would only be insulting those they call loyal if they screwed them over because of some stupid technicality they caused to begin with.
  15. Yea! I mean, god forbid the two people you come across decide to wear the item Jagex releases, they should remove the whole thing because Moad feels they're "shoving it in his face". That's a great argument, selfless and thoughtful of those around you. And yes, the longer you ally yourself with something or someone, the more loyal you are to them, making those who have been here since classic more loyal than someone who has just joined. Saying otherwise doesn't automatically make you right. Luckily the RSC "cheat server" will be on its own, away from the real rsc servers, and the kids who infest the cheat server still will not gain access to the rsc forums. I can see the rsc cheat server ending the same way the troop of rs2 products treated classic when it was still open: "y cant i train slyer?" "were is runecrafting?" "da graphx sux lol"
  16. Yes all his other accomplishments and goals aside, the idea that Mod MMG would want to give RSC players something in rs2 (cough, bunny ears, cough scythe, cough other rsc items) should get him fired. Immediately. Not only that, but Donald Trump should be the one to deliver it. Also, you're thinking 6 months, not 3. It makes perfect sense to me. Sounds like someone is a bit jealous over a simple in-game item.
  17. Got a quote for that? I'd be interested to read it :) In his clan-chat he said it. He also said it in the Q and A, there were a few questions relating to an rsc cape/hat. I'll try and find you the quote.
  18. As a current Classic player, I must voice my discontent with this idea, then completely retract that once I found out RS2 players would not gain access to the rsc forums or the regular rsc worlds, and Mod Mark Gerhard has put an RSC exclusive item for rs2 on the drawing board.
  19. It'll be a first look at the sailing skill :-#

There is nothing wrong with Java. Sounds more like an issue with your hardware to me, I've never had this problem.
  21. Tip.It should put in a good word for Planet FunOrb  Maybe Jagex just doesn't want to pay for long distance calls to the US? Mark Gerhard needs free anytime minutes.
  22. Congrats Tip.It. Now if I could get Jagex to contact me about FunOrb  \
  23. Andrew must have a crush on the OP. He wants to kiss him he wants to date him.
  24. The other reward is the game crashing, no quest completion required. No familiars in the party room? Hot damn.
  25. Looks smexy. Waiting for the game to reload.
