New Items to Equip! THE BELT!
They would have to remake the armor equipment page, alter the graphics for numerous armors, and then finally make the actual belts. While belts have some plausible possibilities, it seems like all the purposes of a belt could be put into a ring or an amulet, which would save them from all that recoding. So, while I think belts could be useful, I don't think JAGeX would ever actually put them in :( As to possibilities: Belts could be encrusted with gem(s) which could in turn be enchanted to alter the bonuses of the belt. With a limit of 5 possible gems added to the belt, you could enchant each gem, adding stat bonuses to the belt. You would have to enchant each gem separately, using the appropriate spell. Sapphire: Attack Magic +3 Defense Magic +3 Emerald: Attack Crush +1 Stab +1 Slash +1 Defence Crush +3 Stab +3 Slash +3 Ruby: Attack Crush + 2 Stab +2 Slash +2 Defence None Strength Bonus +2 Diamond: Attack All Bonuses +3 Defence All Bonuses +3 Dragonstone: Attack All Bonuses +4 Defence All Bonuses +4 Prayer Bonus +1 Strength Bonus +5 Onyx: Attack All Bonuses +6 Defence All Bonuses +7 Prayer Bonus +3 Strength Bonus +8 However, with 7,776 possbilities to code in, I don't think they'd go for it. Maybe only 1 or 2 gems... I still don't think they'd invest the time to do it at all though, sorry.

Oilertay's Progress of 70+ All Stats (Update #90)Smith Done!
Blood chest is slow and boring, no matter how free the bloods... *Voice becomes muffled* You will conform. Steal the bloods and give us power. That is all. *Voice becomes unmuffled* ... and pointless, I can't believe you're even considering it :o So I'm bored.... Anyways, grats again :) :ohnoes: :-$ :-#

My Fakes {Lots of Big Images}
You mean "True Crime: Streets of Varrock"? He was robbing the boxes couldn't you see? I sincerely hope that was sarcasm, because he's clearly robbing the bank :| Said it before and I'll say it again, your fakes are awesome, Hoopster :D

First fake attempt was: http://img502.imageshack.us/img502/7599 ... ete3da.png :P (Let's stop hijacking the thread now) On topic: No, you're not a nerd if you have high stats...

SaidinWoT's journey through 2006 [Update #10]
Until I get 75 Crafting, there is no point. But for a mini-update: I've been doing basically nothing since the Lunar Diplomacy Release! I was so enthralled in the quest (I even made the first available quest guide in the entire RuneScape World, still available in General P2P :P ), that I forgot to actually do stuff besides look around the Lunar area and such. So now I'm back to actually playing the game :|

Vengeance plus Ring ?
It acts like a Ring of Recoil, except the Ring returns 10% of the hit, while the Vengeance spell (on the first hit after the spell is cast) returns 75% of the hit (I believe it was 75%). I don't know if it affects any hits thereafter or what...

Excellent guide :) If only I actually trained combat, hehe :anxious:  :

rare item count
It would be rather pointless and wouldn't help with prices. You could never determine how many were in the market, how many were on accounts that have since gone inactive, or how many are being held by people like me, who just want to wear them, not invest in them. Certainly it would allow people to say, "I'm wearing one of the last ##### s!" But that's about all it would do. And if it DID affect prices, it could drive them up as much as it could drive them down... people could say "so few for so many people, they're rarer than I thought!" or "so many more than I thought, not worth as much", so it still wouldn't solve much.

Whats the fuss on desert treasure!
DT is easy, I died twice because of my own stupidity (got poisoned and didn't have tele or anti, second time went into ice area without and restore potions whatsoever [duh...]) As to the lockpicks, I think it is random. A friend at 53 thieving got it on the first lockpick, while it took me 110 (no joke...)

55 Farming :) Tomorrow I might decide on goals :o

Take this my children and do with it what you will!
A few notes: 1. There ARE macroers in members, and quite a lot of them too. There are far less than a few months ago or so, but there still are macroers. 2. Skill pures are completely legal in RS, all solutions listed so far would hinder them greatly. Just because they don't want to do combat doesn't mean they need to be banned. 3. The ideas just plain wouldn't be cost-efficient for JAGeX. It would take up a good amount of time to program all of this in, and, when they finished, they'd probably lose most skill pures as customers. This wouldn't be a significant dent in their income, of course, but they'd be spending money (paying their employees for working on the Anti-Macro thing) to lose customers.

Chat Options Menu
Bold just makes letters wider, meaning that bolded messages would have to be shorter than normal. I believe there already is a guide in the knowledge base, but this ingame menu would allow the people who don't wish to look it up ( :wall: ) to actually get it right. (As a note, I am one of the people who actually look things up when I need to :D )

0 tolerance policy
No matter how little time it would take to do so, they would have to program in the ability to mute someone for a month. Currently a person can be muted for 48 hours. They would have to program in an extended time limit, which, as I said, no matter if it takes a minute or a week, still takes time. I'll address this later... Nothing special here, except that it's one more black mark than usual... A scam is always a scam, but I'll poke a hole in this further down... Blah blah blah... Scammers will always exist. Always. People will happily but their accounts on the line on the off chance that someone will hand them a jackpot. As to why JAGeX hasn't started something like this, maybe because they have bigger things to do... Uber mod forums? It would NOT work, and here's why: 1. Mute for a month - JAGeX's stance on muting is not one of punishment, believe it or not. A mute is used to protect others, not to punish the person being muted. That's all I have to say here... 2. Two Blackmarks - JAGeX's blackmark system is fine how it is, giving out sufficient blackmarks for the offence, instead of putting a generic amount per broken rule. 3. Giving the scammer's bank to the victim - Okay, here's where I have a HUGE problem with all of this. You stated that all punishments would apply no matter how large the scam? Yay! Off to world 2 we go! Let's hunt out someone to do a minor scam on us, maybe lose a bit to them as they take 999k off of their 1000k offer, or something of the such. Okay, now open the Report Abuse page, type in their name. It's good as gold! We've been scammed, and now the scammer's entire bank will be given to us in return. In a sense, people would be scamming scammers, in which case they would have to be punished, except that there would be no solid proof they planned it beforehand. A perfect con to trick the conmen, keep RuneScape free of scammers, and make a tidy profit off it, however unfairly. My vote: NO

SaidinWoT's journey through 2006 [Update #10]
This is the blog of a level 78 mod with no exceptional levels. Yet. I will be updating this whenever it's worth updating. If I don't get any levels on a certain day, I don't see any point in updating it then. That's all, here's the blog: My current stats: Stats at the start of my blog, the morning of July 17th: July 17 Today I just skilled, hanging out in generally uncrowded areas (mostly Etecetria bank). I finished fletching some maple longs, getting myself 70 Fletching: Along the way I gathered a single day's collection from my Kingdom, getting a few herbs (about 60) and some maples. IDing these herbs (along with the help of four genies) got me 58 Herblore I needed some nats, so I went RuneCrafting, and got this: Finally, I decided to use up the willows I had in bank to get 60 Firemaking So I close the day with July 18th Today I got a whole 5830 xp, all in runecrafting. However, this is mainly because I spent most of my time on the runescape site in RuneScape Classic! Now for some background on me: I joined Janruary 2003 (approximately), making the account Chessblitz. I still have this account to this day, though it can no longer access RSC because it's never been a member. However, I'm proud to say that it has never gained a single experience point on RS2. Anyways, when I first created Saidinwot, I still wasn't willing to go to RS2, so I played RSC, mining till 31. At this point I decided to try RS2, then made a full switch, though I continued to play RSC occasionally. In the past few months I have started playing RSC more and more, and have built up a moderately good skiller, combat level 3 (though it has level 2 prayer). So, with that history lesson out of the way... My major achievement of the day: Besides 200 total/35 Cooking, I later went on to get 20 Woodcutting, 26 Firemaking, and 10 Thieving :) So I end today with the same rs2 stats as yesterday, but on rsc: July 19th I didn't spend too much time on RS today, but the time I did spend was on farming. Only major level of the day: Up from 53 this morning. Overall goal for farming (right now, anyway) is 60 :) August 4th (I seem to have skipped a bit :-k ) I have become 1337! After much changing of goals, I finally decided how I wanted to get 1337. So, earlier today, I hit 1337 with 60 herblore :) The party was my birthday celebration ( \ ) and I came away with tons of awesome gifts :D Unfortunately, since my bank was already almost full, they overflowed into my inventory. So after cooking 8 lobs at a time for ages, I got 73 cooking: And so ends my day :) (Currently up to 9 free spaces in inventory!! ) August 6th Well I skipped a day on accident! I actually did do stuff yesterday, just didn't post... So to make up for it, levels: Have materials for 72 magic and 65 smithing :D (Oh, and I cleared up my inventory!) August 7th Got this: But no more mage levels for a while :( I finished superheating. Afterwards, I started smithing my steel knives, and managed this: Only 4 levels till Devious Minds and all quests done! August 9th I wasn't able to get any levels yesterday, but today I got two more levels! After getting mildly bored of making steel knives, I went off to the coal mines to help get rid of some mith ores that have been sitting in my bank. While mining, I got: Minutes later, I got a genie (first in a few weeks), and through his kindness, I got a level by 'farming' the coal rock: August 10th Only managed one level today: August 11th Nothing exciting today, just smithed a lot: But tomorrow I'll get 65 and finally be able to finish up all the quests! August 12th Unfortunately, real life interfered with my questing, but I managed to get 66 smithing to compensate! Tomorrow I finish the rest of the quests!

Chat Options Menu
I originally made a fake based ona menu displaying the Chat Options in a nice orderly form, along with a few extras. Now I'm turning it into a useful suggestion for the game: It is laid out quite simply, the colors at the top (all of which are already in game), text effects below them (all of which are also already in game), and three styles, common when typing anywhere except RS. Here is how I picture these styles looking: I have no idea what spoken italics would look like, hence it not being shown there... How it works: Quite basically, you select what color/effects you wish to have applied, and it applies them. No need to type out "glow3:scroll:blah blah", instead just press the two buttons and type your message. The buttons stay selected until you de-select them or select another which conflicts with it (colors and glow/flash effects conflict with each other). Each button clearly shows what it does, both in name and how the word is laid out (colors of the word and placement of the letters). And that's it, if you wish to criticize, please make it at least mildly constructive :) Edit: Forgot to add that this also cuts down on people putting the options in the wrong order, such as "shake:glow3:blah blah", which would show up ingame as "Glow3:blah blah" shaking.
