the fastest way to upper body strength; whey protein shakes, high carb meals, and tonnes of push ups with your arms in different positions on the floor (towards top of chest, further apart lengthways, further down your chest, etc.) Yes, this is true, my friends train with the RAF and this is the fastest way to upper body strength. However, it's not the right way as such, and you shoudl definately keep fit and vary your exercises rather than do this. :)

The only movie which has absolutely scared the crap out of me in say the past 10 years is The Exorcism of Emily Rose. I'm not sure why but that movie really hit a bad nerve with me and kept me awake for a night or two. Movies by enlarge arn't scary anymore, I sat through saw trilogy being not bothered at all, just thought they were ace movies.

A lot of the dirty greeb/scene/emo kids in Birmingham walk round with free hugs signs, we have some fun with them alright. Rather than give the one girl a hug, a friend of mine decided to run up to her, jump on her back, steal her sign and rip it in two. ha! Another time, we walked round with signs saying "Hugs: 10 pounds" (sorry, american keyboard atm.) I probably won't be participating much based on these experiences.

Well, lets put it this way. Maybe she was wrong to give him the burger, but my i'd say he was wrong to blame the company the way he did. Lets face it, we've all falsely blamed a fast food place to try and get free food havn't we? FTR: McDonalds have to throw food away if it's been on the floor, and for all those knocking health and safety, McDonalds is good for it, on the whole - they even have a system where they have to throw out burgers you see piled up in wrappers if they are past a certain number, and the numbers are placed there every so often. They do a lot to comply with health and safety, a lot more than some dumb tart throwing a load of salt on a burger. And anyways, I bet there's a lot more salt in a bag of british chips than there was on that burger. Wuss.

If you could be arrested for this kind of thing in the UK I think 20% of the nation would be in jail. A chinese down the road from me was recently done for serving dog meat. Did we moan? No, we didn't. Did we sue? No, we didn't. We just didn't eat there again. Because we get on with things rather than whinge about them and get people arrested for serving a salty burger :-k

I have a new computer coming in a few days and theres a good 15gb or so of files I want to transfer to my new one. I then need to format and reinstall windows on my old computer as im giving it to my brother. What would be the best way to go about transferring the files? Would putting my current harddrive in my new system and copying the files from it be best? There's also linking the two computers to the same via my router and transferring over LAN...what would be the best way to do this? I've done this with MSN messenger before and when they're on the same connection, the speed is a lot faster than internet based connection. Or should I just stick to minimals and burn everything I need to CD-R's like I did before? :/

I remember seeing an article on how CD and MP3 Sales have risen since people started downloading mp3s. I'll admit to downloading albums - if they're good, i'll usually buy them because they're worth keeping. If they're crap, no money wasted. Seems about right to me!

I'm carrying on another 2 years at college and studying for a HND in Music Production, then onto a degree after that. Not actualy going back til the 29th of sep so I havn't a clue atm - all I know is that this year is sodding hard! 3 hour lessons with breaks when we need them and 45 minutes lunch a day.

What i'm after here is electronic music, not the same commercial dance crap, but some electronica with real musical value. I'm talking about artists such as Hybrid, Future Sound Of London, Sh*tmat, Hive, New Order, etc - i'm sure you get the picture. Any recommendations? 8-)

I am from England in the UK, and i'm tired of always choosing "United Kingdom" on drop down lists everywhere when it says on my birth certificate i'm from England. Now, it's not that I have anything against Wales, Scotland or NI (or any of the smaller islands surrounding us,) but i'm unsure why exactely our country name is used so little across places like the internet, global posting addresses, on international news stations, etc. Yes, we're all ruled by the queen, and I understand that this is why we're the UK - however, I don't understand why we're never listed as seperate countries! I dunno, it's one of those all up in the air things - so, discuss 8-)

Sod me that's pathetic. Technically speaking the police officer could easily have gotten a lawsuit filed against him one way or the other - maybe not a successful one, but he could have - its unbelievable that they lumped the fine on him though. Bloody coppers.
