My first run I got something like 60 bloods and 100 chaos.. I was pretty darn happy. 2k barrow trips, 60m, 11k bloods and 50k chaos later... I am still pretty darn happy.. Ne1 sellin Super restores or PPots?

Everyone trains differently... Your trainin Slayer you most likely have Guthan KBD Verac Strength Trainin - Dharok I train slayer and bring Full guthan to heal but wear this: Dragon Legs Rune plate OB shield Rune Boots Dark (Barrow) gloves Ob Cape Fars Helm Whip or D Scimi This allows me to train and heal with less damage to guthan. Is DChain over priced? Nah Is it over rated? Only if your can't afford it Should Barrows cost more? Ask the people who paid 30m for Guthans the first week Prices are prices... You can afford DChain buy Torag plate, and just pay for the repairs... Good luck

Check the master slayer guide by whoever it was.... Goto buthrop or another slayer master.. complete task then goto Lost city. You have 50% chance of getting the highest slayer monstaer for you. I have tested this and works for me as well Got lazy last 6 trips and my assignments were: 121 Gargoyles 166 Kalphites 152 Gargoyles 111 Jellies 155 Karusk (Buthroped for 7 cave bugs LOL) 122 Jellies So you can try to goto edge then lost city to help you with your... lack of interesting assignments.. (5) shrimp (2) pies Gold Ring Bronze necklace 1 law goto barrows use prayer and kill 1 bro with your mind spells. Tele to varrock. Recharge prayer. walk back to barrows. Do this on all 5 then run like a crazy noob to center and open chest. Pray on bro and kill (if you run out search chest and tele!) P.S. this is not an official guide, if you attempt the above and I see you in tunnel, i will give you a cookie and special reward.. ((Simply for making me laugh as hard as the previous guide))

The reason for my inquiry was a couple reason... After living at barrows for the first 5 months it was out(Was there day 2), I tweaked my approach. I started gettin KC to at least 20 and have had better luck then most. I heard people asking questions and posting stats, so I thought I would send something in to see what there response was.... Which was a circle jerk.. I wanted to see if there was an official answer to my madness.. NOPE Is the KC really anything to do with Rare B items from chest (yes, no, wait yes, Uhh It says no in knowledge base, yes Leesters stats show that....) and finally , Wanted some final clarity on this KC Question and we have it There is no Clarity.... The programmers prob. don't know exactly what the previous programmer did and what Random generator they are using... anyway... If you see me at barrows.. add me.. I am the one who is known to collect the remains of dead Barrowers and track them down... Giving them everythigng back WORLD 48 ftw

It appears there has been some confusion, the only thing that will increase your chance of finding the rare barrows armour and weapons is killing the brothers, your kill cound only affects tha ammount of regular items, such as runes or coins, that you find in the chest should you fail to recieve any barrows equipment. I believe leesters or some1 did a study on KC. and noticed his ratio went from 1 to 16 to 1 to 14.. So you put that and what the mod said together... KC does have an effect.

Wear ring of dueling... Save your self the spots for the runes of any tele. Tele to CW, then use your Ancients tele or glory to get to edge (or whatever path you choose) This way if you have a RC pk'er (and I use PK'er very loosely, but that's another topic) get you, you only lose 5k ROD rather then 60-80k Glory. just my 2 cents

Although it does not help with the general drops in the barrows mini-game it does help increase your chance of getting some of the rare barrows items in the final barrows chest. TB and lever is all good... What I would like to see is.. When you engage some1 in a battle... that eating or things like that dis-engage you. This makes teaming too easy. They should beable to code the game so when you are engaged you stay engaged for a time. This would help in running and attacking NPC and X-ing... Peeps might attack each other and X, but all in all I think this would help the most.

Okay I understand your point, but here is how I see it... I live at barrows... I have kept good records of Killcounts and what drops I recieved. Like some others have noted I seem to have a beter ratio when I get 20-30 KC rather then 6-10. I am not being simple minded or even trying to say this response was an end of all conversations on KC. I am just replying that what I and many other respecting Barrowers have noticed. That a raise in kill count over time increases your chances... Is this luck? or does KC increase your chances slightly? Per my Barrows trips and the recent response from the MOD (who isn't a well known MOD) is seems that later of the two is not just a theory. Again I posted a response to the mods on the reply I got. I hope Some1 else gets this and responds with more info.

I just sent in a second query, asking them to verify the response they sent me. Drilling them on does kill count in any way effect your chances of rares. Per the response from the "Runescapes Playerguide or whatever.." It says for BEST chance kill the brothers. My response from the MOD said it also helps. Do you see the difference??? I am not posting this to say this is the end all response. Also I am not saying that what your response to me are wrong. I am tryin to clarify the long and winding question, what is KC used for. It sounds like. Killing all 6 bro's (or more) give you best chance. KC does effect your chances as well (Lot less then the brothers) I will post my response back from the mods soon as I get it.

ummm... Did I read it wrong or something? It says it doesn't help with drops in mini game.. DUH the monsters don't drop anything... but it says it does help with the rares... I read this 5 times before I posted.... Also, I know this has been posted 1,000,000,000,000 times, but again this is a game of hidden updates and things always change... I would imagine they would change this due to using the speed technique (killing 6 bro's and runnig to chest, rinse repeat) was driving the rareness (that a word) and value down. Anyway, that was the response I got on March 30th which is the latest response I have seen. Anyone else recently send in a response? thanks

Okay Fellow Barrowers... I was readin a post a while back and people where talking about everyone submitting their querries to Customer support about Kill count and how it effected your drops. So I did and this is what was returned. I did a search for Kill count on this board and couldn't find anything, so I created a new post. Please post you replies here or reply with link to that old post. By the sounds of this reply, Kill count does in fact increase your chances of Rare Barrow items in the chest. N0va is a friend from world 48.. I am glad I helped him with Herblore and Crafting ((and glad he helped me with all those mage pots for my PK'er)) I see him slaying 24-7 with me and he actually talks to most peeps, unlike other 126's out there. I got tons.... 1. Also when hitting zeros. I run over 2 spots making the NPC move. ((Thinking he had better hit position and I need to move him to nuetral ground)) 2. Collect and bury all bones from barrow monsters. (thinking this will help my chest) 3. ((Something I do at barrows at the chest)) so superstitious, I can't even tell you. 4. When I log in and I am wearing a ROW. I take off ROW. Log out. Log in. Put back on. Log out, log in. -- I did this once before I went to Iron dragons and got dlegs ((Done this sense when I am goin to good drop NPC ((Now I am getting looney)) 5. When ranging FG's I bury 1 bbone per FG. I burried 1 BBone and got Dmed... man I keep gettin more looney each drop. I got tons more... but I can only post 5 at a time... another superstion. :)

Been a member a long time? You don't get out much do you? Alc'n is the way to get your Mage XP up and since you break even and or make money... your paying yourself for xp... Better then spending 300 per law or Soul rune (Splashin Stun) So it's good xp that pays for itself and get out from under the tree...explore RS more bud

OHH GOD PLEASE NO! ((Disclaimer)) I know some young people are respectable and mature... SOME But to allow a flood of people that have no access to CC or able to pay otherwise is a bad idea in my eyes. The Varrock bank mentality would spread all the way to Cammy. I can just here it know "Phr33 whip pl0x" I am rarely in areas these days that this would bother me, but the thought of P2P becoming more and more like f2p would simply retire me. Anyway, JageX would't do this idea. This game gets enough members simply from the web community. They do not need to spread the addiction through 7/11's or Bruno the street corner dealer. They can simply use the same technique as Drug dealers.. Offer you a free taste, get you hooked, then charge you for years.... Again was bored at work...
