Okay I am closing in on 85-86 slayer ((83)) I have a question about getting Abbys from Lost city... If you have 83-85 slayer can you use the Beer or new pies to raise slayer and get abbys for a task?since you only get them from 86 on... thanks for the guide.. helped me tweak some things for slayer.

First 3 weeks of barrows I made roughly 200m ((Prices were insane then)) Drops lately: Guthan Spear (6m) Dharok Plate and DMED Ahrim bottoms and Loop Guthan Helm 121 bloods Karil skirt ((try selling these now a days)) Guthan Plate Karil skirt thats my log for last 100 trips. I had a log of over 1k runs, but now using new log sense I switched to Ancient magiks ((More XP))

LoL.. your sig says your rich... no wonder you pixel hugger... I have seen peeps die plenty times at barrows... Gave over 1.1m back to one guy and over 20k waters, 3k bloods and ahrim bottom and hood to another. I earn my own money so I dont need to leach off of someone elses mistakes. It can take alot of time to make money, so I understand why it is nice for a quick score, but simply think of the other side. At least I heard a couple people still have honor and not in the new generation of Pixel hungry arses

Still a bug. I was down there earlier in month and got 2 dharoks and also 2 Karils. Both attacked me at same time. Friggin Dharok sucked.. I got 1, went back through door, potted and went back in. Got twins. Killed 1 and decided to go through door again to pot. 3rd Dharok ((29 damage OUCH)) Potted killed him, went back to the original Dharok and another twin..... 4 dharoks in the same area. BTW got half key and Dmed. But when I had twins I was seeing double 0's, so I am not sure if bug is fixed...

Cooks assistant part2? What a FN waste!!! That would seriously blow... I always figured they would release the long awaited POH. They would suck. Peeps would flame JageX like normal. If they do Cooks quest for the 100th that would be a HUGE LET DOWN! JageX has something going on with Boats and water. New Boater hats and canoes. 100th quest opening a new world would be cool. No extension to bad bad ideas you already know about. Add something new. New would with Lvl 90 monsters that are the chickens and have tons of new monsters that are 180+.... Dropping D d2h'er , D Pick and D boots. Also in this area is a new Guild Were you can fight NPC's like shadow warriors, but lvl 100+ that drop items that you use on other high lvl skills.. Like unfinished potions, noted bowstring, noted bars, noted unccoked lobbys, etc etc. I want to see somethng that awards players with hi lvl skills.. Sim to Legends. I am a hi lvl barrower and love to see guides for low lvls.. Less questions for me! neway.. on the prayer book. I would suggest Guthix for def.. If you are not getting kill count (which you only need 8-10) why not have better DEF? help you eat less when running through barrows. Also When you are running thro doors at barrows and a brother apears. Walk back through the door you came. Suit up, drink your pot, set your mage attack. Then go back in. He waits for you at door. Be careful sometimes a second bro will appear on the toher side or a second one will apear when you go back in after gettin set. I have gotten 2 dharoks before, which was a real adrenaline rush. Anyway..I have made over 200m there and so I don't mind passing some helpful hints... goodluck deangut

Set up a random F2p charector with a random name and a PW you would never use on a forum or anywhere ((AND write these down!!)) Use this charector as your personal Savings account. to get the items to the Mule account you can do the following.. My disclaimer: This is advice.. I have never done these (1) Drop trade them to your mule (This is against rule number?) (2) Have good friend Xfer items from your account to this. Be careful of new software detection ((See other posts on how to get around)) (3) Go to some obscure place with the items. Make sure your mule is there. Then die on your main. Have the mule pick them up. ((Again make sure no1 is around for this!!)) But just get a bank pin. When you can, bank before you log. This way you put all items back in bank and they are safe. When I goto barrows with full guthan and ahrim. I make the long walk each time I log. Hate to wake up and be out 20m plus. good luck on holding them pixels

That made no sense.... With more supply of whips ((more people getting 85 slayer)) the price will go down.... Supply/demand... But if the drop rate is goin down, then possibly the price will stabilize and maybe, maybe go up a little.. We will never see the good old days of 20M/15/12 then 10m whips. I sold my last whip for 3.2 and am using DScimi for str training. Will now buy my whip again at 2.75. Buyin 1 month early becuz of this thread :twisted:

I normally train slayer and mage at barrows so.. Ahrims for brothers (using ancients) at barrows and then use Guthan to heal up in tunnel for another round of borthers. Guthan for slayer. Keep the food at bank and finish off each task with no ppots. Haven't hunt KQ in a while so verac's is sold...

your RC is 36. You get 2 waters form each ess. Ess cost 30-40 I norm buy them 20 each TOPS! You make money each 1 plus when u hit 38 you make 3 per ess. This will aloow you to get to Natz and make some money ((Paying for your exp) Once you hit Natz..then you make your money.. Again I am just tryin to help out.. if you goin to hassle with advise then I just go make'm ((only get 4 per ess))

I read guides to get an idea of what to expect for areas I never been to, but use my inventory as it fits my needs. Not some1 elses. Also I started going to barrows the day it came out. So there was no guides then and basically helped this forum back then start tracking what to wear... So I haven't read any GUIDES for barrows since I think of myself as a well seasoned Brother killer. Neway, this is just a bit of info and story I wanted to pass on to help others thinking (Maybe I should wear ROW. I haven't died there yet....) If I can save 1 person the horror of dieing there it worth the post... ROW= Ring of Wealth - ROL = Ring of life ROW simply is a waste of space for Barrows. ROW doesn't effect Rewards from CHESTS (Correct me if I am wrong, only been at barrows 500 runs) Some people wear it out of Habbit. Some people wear Ring od Dueling (ROD) so they can tele to CW to bank. I have to say ROL is the way togo. My reason: I am at Barrows last night wearing roughly 25m in items. I have killed all 5 brothers and go down. I am getting some slayer XP from Spiders (Buthroped my 156 irons and got spiders) when all of a sudden realized that an update was about to run in 5 secs. (Didn't see the 3min count down for some reason) BOOM.. logs me out. I re-load RS and log in. I am at lumby. MY HEART DROPS..... Till I realize that I still had everything (about 1.5 seconds and prob. the longest 1.5 in RS) ROL saved me about 25m and 2 to 3 hours getting all those items again. So why wear ROW when it has noo effect, why wear ROD when you can just ecto or lumby tele or glory. All i can say is ROL FTW!!! (For the Win) ==== Also started to log my Barrows runs again. Funny thing is this.. Goto Nechs with no slayer assignment. 2 hours get 4 rune boots. Start slaying again and got 3 nech assignments and I got 1 pair of boots. At Garg's out of 160 I didnt get 1 rare drop not even Rune full. Then next is 140 I get Gmaul, 4 Rune Fulls, 3 addy boots and about 10k in other alcs. When your drops are going good. Do not log.. keep it going.. My theory is if your drops blow , log out and in.... Maybe it has something to do with Unique log in ID

If you are talking wut to wear for PK'ing.. Here are some outfits: Split Bark Top (Doesn't protect over whip) , Mystic Bottoms, Mytic or Klanks Gloves, Mystic or Climbing boots. For helm You can use mystic hat or beserker helm(spelling). Also can brong Rune top and legs for Melle combat. I do plenty pk'in and this seems to work gr8 for me

I have lived at barrows for 2 months when it came out... What I found.. Using slayer dart is efficient and cheap. Using Bloods with Air staff and the tons of fires form FGiants (is a lil faster, better Mage XP but costs more) Ancients : Best XP for mage, Costs 2 times much , You save around 1 Prayer pot every 2 runs. If you are going to barrows to simply get drops, then use slayer and ecto. If money isn't an issue and you want Mage XP (With the rare drop paying for this XP) then use Ancient. ((Which is wut I am doing to hit 94 mage) Warning: DO NOT get careless with ancients on Dharok, he still will own you.. So use PPots on Dharok, Karil and ahrim (Some people)

Same as rune ? Nah F2p can mine, you can have auto miners on any noob account to be able to mine rune.... Slayer on the other hand takes a lot longer to lvl. You can not auto and whip drop rate is going down. Price going down? Of coarse... more people getting 85 slayer each day.. Also money making now days is much easier... People are payin insane amounts to fletchers for bows to get mage up. People paying 150-170 for bowstring.. 100-120 for flax. List goes on and on... RS2 inflation

Lol.... This is way too funny to read all these posts! This is a glitch! It's been around forever, but never addressed since there is NO fix for it. It is do to lag of response from your attack from the original attack. Also beware of this.... Pk'ers are very aware of this "glitch" and also have come up with ways to exploit this even further. Not going to give details because that would promote the exploit and I find it wrong. So simply only go with large groups in Team capes. Dont bring anything you can't loose, because most likely you will! Clans and PK'ers live for these updates ((I am one)) So if you want to join the Lumby party, come try to get the D2h'er

Let me know if it uses that much of your CPU . I always seem to note it 80-100% when running rs2 on high res. I am not sure if I can fix this with a setting on my PC or not Again I have the norm install for the new JRE platform (might be a setting in there) ne help would be great
