If you mean the multiplier, then there all locked :( (except for the FX series). Everybody overclocks by the FSB now. Or maybe he thinks that he can get away with O/Cing with an OEM board from HP, Dell, etc. which really isn't the case.

Look buddy, your post was incomprehensible, of negligible value, and you double-posted rather than editing. We call that spamming the thread - it's when you make a pointless reply for the sake of raising your post count or giving yourself something to do. It upsets those of us who put at least an ounce of effort into our replies regardless of what's going on at school. I had to sit for a four-hour test and a final today, and you don't hear me whining about it and spamming up a Runescape forum. As such, I deem both your replies unnecessary, unjustified, and deserving of ridicule. Have a nice day. On topic, I suggested QBasic because It's also nice to know a bit of C++ since practically nobody I know outside of the internet knows PHP. They all think it's a drug. If you know a language that many many people know then you have that much of a userbase that can help you out of a tight spot.

I'm sorry, but given the fact that I can barely comprehend what you're talking about with the media player (using the OCX control maybe?) and the fact that you should screw up the school's server because of its physical size tells me and other posters you are clueless. I'm deeply sorry.

What I did, in order, was: QBASIC Frontpage web sites Visual Basic HTML PHP CSS and learning C++ I'd do something similar, more like: (X)HTML CSS Javascript QBasic PHP C++ ...since VB is so useless and variable between .NET and 6, and many organizations and/or schools still use 6 for whatever reason. Don't learn ASP either, it runs only on Windows to my knowledge, costs money (again, as far as I know) and many fewer people use it; it's overall more inflexible. QBasic introduces many basic programming concepts and people often learn it first (or used to). I kinda learned it first by accident, but now I'm glad that I did because it is a more simple language that also contains a few more powerful features, and has a very clearly-defined help file. It teaches you variable types and declarations as well as operators, functions, etc. but also has limited support for stuff like subs, libraries, etc. And although C++ is not the greatest language in the world, historically lots of successful people and/or companies have used it, and it's the basis for many other languages and is therefore worth learning.

http://newegg.com What I usually do for people who need RAM is use the aforementioned Crucial tool then buy the same spec stuff from a generic manufacturer off of Newegg. It always saves me and/or them a bundle!

Well... first, my main machine Aspire X-Plorer Mid-tower with 430W CoolerMaster PSU AMD Athlon 64 3500+ 939-pin 1GB DDR400 80GB 7200RPM Nvidia 7800GT PCI-E DVD +/-R DL Optical Sceptre 19" 8ms LCD Logitech X-530 5.1 and JBL 200-watt 2.0 = 7.1 and my server/secondary gaming comp: Aspire X-QPack SFF with 420W Aspire PSU Intel Pentium D 805 2.66Ghz O/C to 3.2Ghz with Spire Cooler 1GB DDR2 40GB 7200RPM and 250GB 7200RPM ATI Radeon X800XT PCI-E DVD+/- Optical 15" CRT and headphones, nothing to write home about What's even more amazing is that both of those computers cost me roughly $2000, monitors included. It's amazing what you can scrounge together from others' free spare parts :D - The primary hard disk, JBL speakers, X800XT, DVD +/R drive and CRT on my server machine are all from various people that I know. I'm glad I'm so lucky. But I still bought everything else on that machine (~$450) myself, as well as everything on my main box (~$1600 including monitor), so I don't believe that I qualify as spoiled.

I didn't pull anything. I don't think it was "too fast" or anything since I had already done stuff like that during school and such with everybody watching, and it wasn't any "worse." As for the rumor at this point nobody I know believes her and she has zero credibility at this point with regards to what happened. Thanks anyway though.

http://news.google.com/news?hl=en&ned=u ... 15,00.html http://www.forbes.com/business/feeds/ap ... 60357.html http://www.cnn.com/2006/US/05/19/maryla ... index.html Today somebody supposedly entered my high school with a pistol. The school was locked down from 8:00 to 3:00-ish while SWATs came in and patted EVERY PERSON IN THE SCHOOL DOWN. That's right, everybody in the school was frisked, and I was stuck in my first period for the entire day with no lunch. Around noon we turned on the television to CNN and it showed our school on national television as some of the SWATs "stormed" the school. I might have thought it a bad day, but it was so awesome to see the SWAT guys. Take Counter-Strike and that's pretty much what these guys were - helmets, kevlar, and GUNS - M4s, Commandos, M16s, MP5s, Glocks, Beretta 92s, and Glocks. In the class. Searching our bags and persons. Being the first time I'd seen an automatic assault weapon outside of a glass case, it was just so awesome. The experience was just so kick-wagon, despite what some might say. But what I don't understand is that we have had quite a few bomb scares this year, and what do you think has more killing potential, a kid with no military training and a 9mm or a pipe bomb? And which actually got reported on NATIONAL TELEVISION? That's what I don't get. But no complaints as to how they handled it, they were extremely thorough. And this kind of stuff happens more often at other nearby high schools, like Great Mills, but it got reported because it was at our school, which is like a 90% white upper-class demographic, rather than the other high schools' more eclectic socioeconomic and racial makeups. Post comments about anything similar happening to you. Sorry for the incoherence and apparent illegibility of my post, it's just that I'm trying to dump everything out at once. **EDIT: There's a news recording on tonight at 10. I'll record it with my new TV tuner card, DivX and upload if I have time.

That's because most modern-day bands are manufactured. Save for certain bands, many are products of intelligent record company scouts and image makers who dictate to the band members what to say, what to wear, what to sing about and how to walk and talk. Now you can become a famous singer for being good-looking, rebellious or crossove from the acting world. It wasn't that way 30 years ago, you actually needed to be some kind of relatively innovative or talented band. But that's something entirely different. Anyway, I read Deception Point, Digital Fortress and Angels and Demons before I tried to read the Da Vanci Code. I found those books entertaining but highly unrealistic. They also always have a formula to them: A fit, poor, intelligent university professor or intellectual has to save the world from some kind of intelligence leak or assassination and enlists the help of a conveniently attractive and equally smart woman. The top dog betrays them but the mystery is solved anyway and everybody lives happily ever after. But it's still a nice quick read nonetheless. I am currently into Matthew Reilly books, which are action novels that read like movies :D.

Oh! I miss swtkittn now too... I wonder how many names I've forgotten about... Aww :$ It really is amazing.. the people that we've forgotten from so long ago. Tons of names but I can only remember afew :$ Recently tho (within last month or so) actually in the same night I saw kiro freak and castlecaster on tip it's irc  I honestly didn't believe my eyes :P It's quite sad to know people and then they just seem to disappear, seems so many of us that were all together so long ago have just vanished :( I'm glad that I still talk to sith, oergg, and biox every now and then :D <3<3 Certainly had a lot of great memories in the probably 5+ years I've played rs and the times when I was active on scapeboard that was like forever ago  Isn't CastleCaster known as Tomato now, or am I missing something?

Naw, my friends believe me, but the only ones I've talked to as of yet are guys. I need a non gender-oriented opinion. That aside the people who called me perv don't even know me and have never met me. Yeah, I'm trying to think about how I'm going to break this news to my folks. They will probably be pretty damn pissed at me.

Alright, apologies for the bump and now I need more advice. Well, we went out to the movies on Friday (today is Mon the 15th). I was sick and as such did not go to school today. What happened was, everything seemed to go smooth on the date, but now she posted on her myspace that it was "disgusting" and that I grabbed her in an inappropriate place. I was also blocked on AIM and then blocked again after I got on another SN to try and talk about this. Now, I don't so much care about the disgusting part but I didn't molest her or break any laws at all. What me and four other people I know are trying to figure out is how/why she is lying or is mistaken about me fondling her. Words do far more damage than one may think, and now two people whom I have never even met at all think I'm a pervert. What I am afraid of is getting a false reputation or, even worse, having charges pressed against me for something I didn't even do. As of yet I've tried to talk to her but I've been blocked and then SMS'd (and referenced in the third person about how I'm "pissed" at her). So yeah. What exactly am I supposed to do in a situation like this? I don't really give a rat's wagon about the relationship; what I'm most concerned about is being labeled a rapist. Any ideas? Should I tell an adult, her parents, etc.?

Grr...i hate it when people do this...it's performed by My Chemical Romance, not by them. And just to tell you, the Queen+David Bowie version is 110 times better. Why can't artists just make their own music nowadays?

36 hours. A day and a half. At least four to six meals. I sincerely doubt it's the game's fault as much as his parents'. At his age it can sometimes be difficult to stop doing something you like, and your parents are supposed to be there for you to tell you when enough is enough. If I was his father I'd have dragged him down by the hair long before he missed a second meal. Also: I'm no psychiatrist, but the kid was obviously dilusional. He couldn't tell the difference between the game and the real world anymore. That's the difference between 99,9% of all RS players and this kid. Mental health. You can come down from your soap box now, we'll end up just fine without your guidance. I concur. I believe in this nifty concept called "free will" - that is, unless somebody puts a gun to your head, knife to your throat or threatens to kill a kitten if you don't do something, you pretty much have the power to do or not do something. Similarly, if we apply this to World of Warcraft - the kid had the power to stop playing, and yet he was unwilling because he found it so fun. And the parents DO seem kind of ignorant - "oh he'll grow out of it!" NO. I know lots of kids who are total [wagon] because their parents thought that their kids would "grow out" of being jerks, and they never did. They are being lazy and spending away their children's college education on big-screen plasma televisions while their childrens' lives rot away in front of a computer screen on MySpace and on mediocre, overcompetitive sports teams. It's anybody's fault but Blizzard's. Think about it - do you sue Heckler und Koch if somebody uses an MP5 to kill somebody? HELL NO. You press charges against the killer and testify in court. I wonder when the age of litigation in which we live will end. It now seems that courts do more damage than good.

I used to enjoy reading lead's short stories of things that happened to him amongst other stuff. :P That avatar is the only thing I remember of him...

I just realized that I've been a member of tip.it forums for over three years now, and I haven't gained an ounce of maturity or common sense. Post here with your memories of events, tragedies, etc.

Since Sweden obviously doesn't have illegal Mexicans, I guess all the students hang outside Home Depot until some guys who need help with there roofing come along. ***WARNING: MADDOX LINK*** http://www.thebestpageintheuniverse.net/c.cgi?u=walmart So true. Up until all the elitist middle class credit card-toting kids in my school started making fun of immigrants and blaming them for their lazy selves not being able to get a job I didn't understand that page, but now it really hits home for me. On topic, my school does about nil, because of the very "rich" demographic of kids who don't care. That aside, I've donated somewhere in the area of $60 to various relief funds myself.

Quality television right there.

its insane say ur wiken lol or athiest how ever u spell it but thes dumb idont no ur laws but look up thm and is it just in the us ur is freedom of religion true there im shure it is Are you a 8 year old? Lear some grammer. And you're the idiot here. You're one to call somebody else an idiot, you spell it grammar, with an a. Look it up sometime, before you contradict yourself and make people think less of you than they already do. And, to guss, the fact that you have ...My Chemical Romance image filenames without the proper tags or URLs lends even less credibility to your already flawed argument. Either way, I gave my solution already, just mopping up the flaming jacktards.

Knowing several people who are absolutely addicted to WoW, I would have to say don't get it. All the people I know who play it are struggling with school and losing their money to it.

Apologies for bumping, but I'd like to thank everyone who gave me advice rather than flaming me, as so often happens on this subject. :) Topics like this make me happy I'm a member of tip.it (and others the opposite).

I tried iqtest.com a while ago and got 191, and just now I got Quite honestly I thought the test was malarky. There was only one question on there I couldn't answer and that was due to my laziness. Lots of the stuff relied on a person's knowledge of things like geography, too. I wouldn't go by this test at all.

Glad somebody besides me actually bought one. Anyways, I'd get some Blue Oyster Cult. Just get at least the following songs: Astronomy Burnin' For You Don't Fear the Reaper Me 262 Cities on Flame With Rock and Roll Godzilla Golden Age of Leather and then just go through their albums and sample the songs one by one until you find all the ones you want.

http://allofmp3.com are the ones I use. Fast, cheap, legal. 'Nuff said.
