  1. and ogloc get ur low lvl outa here You have no right to criticize somebody for their low level when you're too damn lazy to type out "your" instead of "ur." Thinka about it - forums aren't real-time like IMs or chats are, you don't need to be quick in your reply. Just do your part and make the post look like you even give a care before you start flaming. The guy doesn't like anime, nor do I. You don't need to criticize somebody for their opinion :/
  2. +Cool Skin+Extensions of Plus! :D ~komodo Gaim > *
  3. I think I was being sarcastic, but I'm not sure. If you still need help defeating the Gorgon Monster, then pretty much use your White Mage and attack him with Cure over and over. Then, this is the important part... GO TO http://gamefaqs.com AND LOOK UP FINAL FANTASY WALKTHROUGHS!
  4. 11, I'd guess, because in another thread he said he'd have to wait 3 more years for US child labor laws to allow him to work, and in many states it's 14...
  5. And maybe it's an awesome song to begin with and needs no idiots with too much time on their hands to lip-sync it. Seriously, maybe you shouldn't try setting rules in the thread, because that's just asking for it.
  6. I think putting it in the freezer would do a better job of forming ice crystals...
  7. Well basically what you do is use the Moogle Charm to reflect the attacking Chocobo mutants, then level up your Sephiroth until he's able to defeat the dark Black Magician in the Dungeon of Souls. Then pretty much check GameFAQs for advice instead of asking on a forum that has about two people browsing it at any given time, if any.
  8. The Internet is a privilege you have while you're at school. Its provided for educational use, no matter what grades you might have in your classes. You being on the internet could slow down the connection for people trying to do legitimate research or other educational activites on the internet or you could accidently infect the computer with a virus or spyware by visiting a site you didn't realize was dangerous. It doesn't matter the reason. You are given free Internet at school for educational purposes. If you want to do something not school related, deal with the restrictions they make or wait till you get home. Your logic consists of nothing more than "because I don't like it" and frankly, that doesn't matter. I second that. If they blocked Google Imags and still expected you to use it for a research project and you used a proxy and got in trouble, that would be something different (happened to me :D)
  9. I lived in Tortola, a small British Virgin Island near St. Thomas, for a year, enduring two hurricanes in the process. It was so remote it was awesome.
  10. Heh, I can't stop listening to Astronomy and Stairway to the Stars! They're my new favorite band, and it's rather unfortunate that many people believe that Reaper is their only good song, when so many others are better. With the exception of the Imaginos album, which just totally sucked, and The Revolution By Night (except Take Me Away). Roundabout is one of my most favorite Yes songs ever. What Yes albums do you have? Roundabout, Owner of a Lonely Heart, and Our Song are my favorite Yes songs. And, I had no idea that anybody listened to Boston. They're one of those bands that are classic rock and sold tens of millions of albums, and yet are overshadowed by the likes of AC/DC and company and are never talked about by anybody. Ever. Just like the J. Geils Band... Every song on 1984 is excellent, with Panama and Hot For Teacher being my favorites.

The Azn Pride Rap? I dunno, but I can send you the MP3 of it. I had to go to the trouble of extracting it from the Flash movie :|
  13. Hah, yeah... as good as me :P Thatll take a whole 5 minutes As for the E string vibrating against the neck, it happens on mine too and it seems to be quite common (not a big problem unless I have treble up high though) =\ You can either adjust the bridge or the truss rod (the latter as a last resort, because you can screw up your neck) to fix that. Of course, then the action is a bit higher, but I would sacrifice action for the sake of better tone any day.
  14. I'm interested in teaching myself the guitar. I've wanted to learn it for about five years now, but I haven't been able to scrape together enough money after my computing hobby until now. I plan on playing classic rock, older hard rock, and 80s metal. I've put together the following setup with the help of some people I know: Fender Dyna-Touch III Bullet 150 Guitar Combo http://www.musiciansfriend.com/product/ ... sku=480478 Ibanez GRX20 http://www.musiciansfriend.com/product/ ... sku=519417 with humbuckers and tremolo Ernie Ball Super Slinkies http://www.musiciansfriend.com/product/ ... sku=100621 Dunlop Tortex Picks http://www.musiciansfriend.com/product/ ... sku=110040 Musician's Friend DT220 Tuner http://www.musiciansfriend.com/product/ ... sku=210070 Mogami Silver Series 12 Foot Cord http://www.musiciansfriend.com/product/ ... sku=339028 Chord Poster http://www.musiciansfriend.com/product/ ... sku=904160 Hal Leonard Play Guitar Today Book http://www.musiciansfriend.com/product/ ... sku=941660 I am buying everything from Musician's Friend, a high-rated store as far as music stores go, and everyone I know who has bought from them say they are an honest company. I can stretch to $400 including shipping, the above is $350 with shipping. Does anybody have any suggestions?
  15. I'm gonna get a nice Fender Dyna-Touch and Ibanez GRX20 guitar soon and start playing as well. I know many people that go out to Target and buy Washburns, and they give up playing. That aside, the necks are very thick, the action is TOO low, so low that the low E string vibrates against the neck when you strum it, and the amp has no effect, and changing the gain does absolutely nothing. But hopefully once I get my stuff I'll be as good as you are. I've always liked to have learned to play guitar, becuase I have a very musical ear and I dissect my music when I listen to it, but I've never had the money because i'm always buying other crap (mostly computer stuff). Good luck. Oh, and for the win: Music is not about how complex it is, it's about if it is aurally pleasing and gets stuck in your head. Green Day's old songs do just that. Their new ones do not. Green Day have become inflated, politically-rebellious (for the sake of publicity) morons, and the album American Idiot sucks. Dookie is a good album, although people at the time said that was a sell out too  , but at least it has some good music. And Purple Crayon, if you want to take an idiotic attitude, then two can play at that game: Blue Oyster Cult is my favorite, I've decided. So now every band aside from my playlist bands and BOC suck. That includes Jimi Hendrix, the Doors, the Cure, the Killers, all modern rap, all classical, CKY, and all those crappy speed metal bands. I am right, you are wrong. Your opinion sucks like a vacuum cleaner. Wow, I am so original.
  16. Same thing here, although i learned last night two things: between my G/F and I, we have an IQ of 117, and this: I hope you know they have to have all the right letters first, right? :P I took an IQ test and got 180  They mean nothing.
  17. The OC is a stupid show, not to mention the fact that now everyone thinks that Orange County Choppers is in California, even though it's in New York, like a half hour away from my home town. And everyone walks around with OCC t-shirts, and I don't own a single one and I actually watch American Chopper... But that's another story. In any case, the only shows I go out of my way to watch are Seinfeld and American Chopper. One Tree Hill, the OC and all those other lame, deep soap operas are just what Bubsa said - fabricated, overdramatic pieces of shizzat. These people walk around in a friggin' paradise dating ultra-hot chicks and uber-buff guys, and yet they still have something to whine and complain about. It kind of sounds like the people I know who watch it - spoiled, unthankful, disillusioned, and judgemental. But about the Manchester thing - that is an excellent point you make :D. England always seems so dark to me when I see it in pictures, but I'm probably wrong.
  18. If anyone truly belives a bit of spelling such as "Actueyl" deems a person unintelligent, they are idiotic. See, what you don't understand is that your posts are intelligible. Posts like his are not easily readable and are hard to follow. That's why we get mad at people who can't spell. Plus, who in the world doesn't have Microsoft Word? Is it so much to take thirty seconds to copy and paste your post into Word and spellcheck it? Edit: Hannibal I hope you weren't talking about me with the Hitler thing :D
  19. I wholeheartedly concur. If you're old enough to have a wife, you're old enough to make an effort to type words correctly instead of "liek tis." Even so, it's an isolated incident. It happens to thousands across the world every day - many less fortunate than you are robbed, insulted, beaten, etc. Just because it happens to you does not mean "omgfomgf omgfomogfmogfog fpost 2 raiz post cnt on tipit!!1111 soceity [bleep] 2 end" I also find it hard to believe that the guy smoked a cigarette waiting for you. But I'm just guessing.
  20. When my dad bought his new Chevy last April he decided to get a snow plow too, since the winter was over by then and they were practically giving them away. Of course, after this year, our neighbors are very thankful that we live on their street, since it's Maryland and everyone freaks and goes to the supermarket to stock up on canned food for two inches of snow. We got like 8 inches once and everyone was so afraid. School was cancelled for more than a week as I recall. Right now I'm about to go to school in shorts and a t-shirt though, so no snow now for me.
  21. The best Magic Schoolbus game, in my opinion, was the geology one. I spent hours upon hours playing that as a kid. :P And banning violent games isn't going to change human nature. Violent games don't make violent people, violent people make violent games. I had the Solar System, Rainforest, Inside the Earth, Human Body, and Dinosaurs ones. Was also my favorite television series. So awesome, with Mrs. Frizzle and everyone :D.

    making money

I thought I hit edit  Sorry about that. I'll try not to do that again.
  23. And the Oscar for 'Most Arrogant Performance' goes to... Yes, I am arrogant. That's why I picked holes in somebody's argument that weren't even there  .

    making money

What would be even better are some 21st century grammar and typing skills. You complain a lot about how your stuff sucks and how you'll make your room "21st centuary," and yet your XBox was made in 2001. And, as far as I know, your parents are communist investors who want to take your money away and make it grow while it just sits in a bank account, so you have even more than you started with ten years from now. All your posts make sense now - you're 13. I was a jacktard when I was 13, but not nearly as ungrateful and confused as you are. But I'd like to think I'm doing better now. As a last note: Mmm...contradiction. Now, on topic: You need to get a job working somewhere. Labor laws are not really enforced, you can find under-the-table work part time on weekends at lots of places. However, you shouldn't go into a job that requires customer interfacing, since I always found that kind of akward. I'm a helpdesk tech, and I just asked my boss if for everyone's sake I could not answer phones, since I'm very polite but rather lacking in dealing with unhappy people and getting people's names.
