Yea...I listened to that whole "Image of the Invisible" song, and it was a complete waste of 4 minutes. Even more so, i rofled at the "progressive" comment you made...so this is what they're calling prog nowadays? Hmm... :|
  2. I don't know if many people liked it much, but I thought Majora's Mask was amazing. I loved the plotline, the gameplay, and pretty much everything about it. Temples were awesome, and some improvements were made from Ocarina of Time...I'd deffinitely be able to compare the two, though OoT might still win by a bit. Anyways, I've played OoT, Link to the Past, Majora's Mask, Twilight Princess(Wii), and Wind Waker. All amazing games imo.

Pick the weapon you're best with, then just add something to it. "DeagleHS" "AWPFTW" "BOOMAKSHOT" "Just pwned you wit teh m4" Eh, just some ideas. But to be honest with you I'd never use one of the names i just suggested.
  4. Looked it up a while back on Wikipedia...and I found out I'm Jesus! Or...close to it. "Also the date on which The Church teaches that Jesus was born. " Yea, it's just the mormans, but I'll take it. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/April_6 It's under holidays and observances. Ahh...YES! Just saw this: Born: Zach Braff-1975 :XD: Scrubs=amazing
  5. Eh, #1 question by far is: "How long did it take you to grow your hair?" #2: "Wow, you're white and you have a fro. Half black rly?" #3: "Are you ever going to cut it?" Answer to #3 (the only question, imo, worth answering for self-amusement): No, i'm going to let my hair grow until I die.
  6. The internet is your friend, you don't need us to tell you what type to get. I mean, just go search for what you're looking for if you haven't already.

Petrelli's emo cause he wants. Parker's emo cause of the black stuff. Heroes is probably my favorite show right now, I'd rather watch it than 24. : Special effects are great, plot is great, characters are amazing, the best show in a while.
  9. What did I say to make you think that? I didn't say that I was better than you, I had no intention of even implying that. Also, I didn't mention anything about the gravity gun (although, imo, the super gravity gun is cooler than any weapon in any other fps) or HL:2, or Counter-Strike in this topic. I may have mentioned it somewhere else, but that was outside of this topic, and I didn't use that as an argument anywhere in this topic. If you want me to, I could, and I could explain how much better CS is than online multiplayer Halo2, but I won't unless you truly want to have an argument about that. I mean, one of the main reasons I was trying not to compare the two was that they're on two different systems, and can hardly be compared. And to the guy taht commented on how other sequels were successful because of their originals, well, you're just being ignorant and not seeing my meaning behind that. Of course more people will buy the sequels because they liked the first game, that's obvious. What I meant was that, if those games that you mentioned had been stand-alone games and not sequels, they would've done very well. May not be able to say that about Halo 2. And no_one, I played Halo 2. I got it, played it online for about a month. I got pretty good at it. It got boring. Yes, I went back to CS. I may not have had 1337 skillz in Halo 2, but the main reason I got bored of Halo 2 was because of having to play it with a controller. Keyboard and mouse ftw. I'll leave RPGs and adventures for consoles. Ahh, now I see the root of our disagreement. I prefer keyboard and mouse for RPGs and adventures other than LoZ but I prefer controller for shooters. I'd also like to apologize for being an idiot in the past. I've been in an easily agitated mood for the past few days because of a biology project in school. Though that's no excuse. I honestly can't tell if you're being sarcastic or not.

  11. I could, but it wouldn't give me the pleasure of seeing you guys annoyed at my posts. For now I'll stick with 'trolling', imo a rather harsh term. I provided facts as to why the game sucks, not opinions. At least, most of my post was facts. Maybe just a bit was opinion. If you haven't had more fun playing an FPS game than playing Halo, you should either give up on playing the genre at all, or get some new games to play, because you're really missing out. At least you admit to being such a lowlife that you actually post for the pleasure of annoyance. Surely that should be against the rules. Oh well. I won't argue with you anymore. I don't really like arguing with people who need to jump off of a bridge to come to the realization that they are not God and that just because they say something, doesn't make it fact. Anyway, I'm looking forward to beta also. Seeing as how I never took the time to preorder Crackdown, I'll be waiting for my friend to go to his dad's house next weekend to play it. z0mg i m god, it tru cuz i say so. Of course I post for the pleasure of seeing other people annoyed, I don't know you in real life, what can you do to me? Call me a low life and tell me you won't argue with such people? Big deal, these are forums, they're not meant for extremely serious conversations, and they're also not meant for Halo worshipping teenagers (which they're mostly filled with). I don't see why this forum has so many rules anyways, what's the matter with swearing and spam? Yeah, it's my opinion, Halo sucks. What are you going to do now? Call me a lowlife again? Or will I get temp-banned from the forum, just for expressing my personal opinion? I dunno. But whatever happens, I stand by my argument.

  13. Yea, I agree. I'd say your best bet is to buy a package with HL2/whatever other games come with it, including Source. I haven't checked prices on amazon as stated above, but they'd deffinitely seem like the best choice to buy from.
  14. The REAL Gordan Freeman wouldn't be trolling around on the Halo Forums. Why sure he can! But I bet Gordon Freeman would have a better time out at Ravenholm ;) Oh, wow. You realized that I made a mistake in the naming of my account 2 years ago when I created it. =D> Bet you're proud that you know what Ravenholm is too. Good for you. But seriously, tell me why Halo is so great. Is it because everyone else says it is? Because that's the answer I would/ have come to expect. The success of the game was built off of word of mouth (ex. kids that only had an xbox had crap FPS games to play until Halo came out, so "ZOMG HALO IS TEH BEST GAME EVER") and the success of the second game was built off the success of the first game, and that is all. I'll admit, the first game had a fun multiplayer game...for around 3-5 hours. Playing the campaign mode made me bored out of my mind, nothing special about it whatsoever. So, everyone starts talking about how amazing Halo 2 is. I play the multiplayer mode with a few friends, and I can't stand it. The weapons suck, the gameplay sucks (You can barely ever get headshots, and the only weapons you can get them with are battle rifles and snipers...that is, from long range). Oh, and one of the most retarted things is being able to shoot with perfect accuracy...while in the AIR. I swear, that game has so many loopholes in it, it blows my mind because of how popular it is. If no one talked about this game, no one would play it. Plain and simple.
  15. Wow, good for you. As for the vid., still just looks like a company leeching more money off the success of the first game. Nothing special. Seriously, what's so great about Halo? News Flash: Halo DID NOT REVOLUTIONIZE THE FPS GENRE! Why do so many praise it as if it did?
  16. Violin :D It'd be perfect, considering it seems you like prog rock alot...at least, if you like Kansas. :anxious: Hey, it still has its uses (that's if you don't like Kansas, which I wouldn't understand). Other than that, the sax is kinda fun when you start, but unless you get really into it, you'll probably end up getting bored. I don't know if you'd really want to learn more instruments considering you're already playing 3, you might want to consider learning musical tech or something like that if you want to play in a band in the future.
  17. Wow, shut the hell up. This is a videogames forum, stop trying to start a flame war with someone. Go back to the off-topic forum if you want to talk about religion, leave this one to videogames.
  18. I totally disagree with that. I think rappers need as much talent as a guitarist, maybe even more in certain situations. Ok, i'm just going to stop reading what you said right there. You-are-wrong, and that is a FACT. It doesn't have to be a personal opinion, but I'm sure that anyone with common sense would disagree with what you said. How old are you? You obviously haven't had much first hand experience in music.
  19. Exactly my point.
  20. Simply put, thats an ignorant statement. I'm a metalhead for life, but I did however help one of my friends make some rap songs (hes an aspiring rapper) and to say theres no actual music involved, is ridiculous. The beats aren't as easy to make as you may think. It requires a lot of keyboard use, and you have to at least understand the basics of music to get anywhere with it....not to mention the rapper has to come up with fresh verses that flow well. Coming from a fan of both genres, it takes more effort to make decent rap lyrics than it does the incessent screaming thats in most popular music (metal, etc.) these days. It isn't an ignorant statement. When he refers to "talent", he's comparing the rap genre in general to probably the rock genre. And, plain and simple, when you're comparing the two, it's clear which requires more talent. Much more, in fact. To add a bit more, the number one reason most people don't like rap (i'm guessing) is the lack of actual music. A rap song consists of: talking, synthesizer, and (usually) an artificial drum beat. I don't blame people for not wanting to listen to it, and even criticising those who do.
  21. FF7 and 8 are the two you should get if you're limited on cash, but if you're not, i'd suggest 7, 8 and 9...and I'm assuming that because you've never played a Final Fantasy, Tactics would be pretty hard for you to get the hang of, so I wouldn't suggest it unless you're good at strategy games (it's really more of a strategy game than an rpg, it's not the same gameplay as the others at all). FF7 is either tied or is my favorite game, 8 and 9 are probably at 5th and 10th respectively on my imaginary favorite games list.
  22. Sounds like an interesting game...a friend of mine has told me a bit about it, thought it sounded like fun. Where might I find it?
  23. Duke Nukem 3D and (hopefully) soon-to-be Duke Nukem Forever. 3D as a winner of course. And if you're actually counting MGS in there, go ahead and add Max Payne. (I thought this would be FPS only...guess not.)
  24. Nobuo Uematsu's gotta be the best game-music writer. The soundtracks from FFVII and VIII are my favorites, but IX and X deffinitely have some of my favorites. Overall, I'd say the soundtrack to VIII is the best soundtrack out of any game.

Could someone give me a link? I've never heard of the game...and I need a new MMO to play. Maybe i'd like this.
