  1. This guy here has to go to school for another month, it will be one of the hardest ones out of my life. But i've chosen for it, so i can't complain.
  2. Making bows is the most common way of making money with fletching. It goes like this: you buy yew logs at 300 each and bow strings at 180-200 each. then you make bows (use a knife with the logs and string the unstrung bows) and you sell the bows for 600 each, that's atleast 100 each profit per bow. you need 70 fletching to make the 'longbows', because alchers don't buy shortbows.
  3. He got banned from RuneScape because he traded his RuneScape wealth for real life wealth. I'm a little dissapointed this has to be written again, yes he made a mistake but he still deserves a little respect.
  4. It was sarcasm! Try to understand the messages before you post harsh comments...
  5. I have 90 fletching, and i will make your bow if you are online. RSN is "Gamerr" ofcourse, and my private chat is on "ON".
  6. For books, i have a good hint. Only keep the books that are very useful. I mean, there's a book (i believe it's the book of bangs) that can enchant vials. I've kept that book. The rest i'd throw away, if you need books for a quest JAGeX will always leave the option open to get the books back. I do this for every quest item, only the really necessary ones are still worth to be in my bank.
  7. Thanks, about the rewards, yeah i changed it. Also for the ring of charos, changed :) not too long, they are fresh in my mind eh :)
  8. I hope the guide helps people out with the quests. I'm a fan of them, and i hope more people will do them now. Feel free to post corrections about this guides, or ideas!
  9. Mea Culpa? I don't think so. I've respected (and still do) as a player, but what you have done is really normal. When you work so hard on a game, you want to have something in real life to "compensate" that. I'd like to point out it's also JAGeX fault, they could make a lot of transactions impossible by asking EBAY to block the selling of runescape accounts, or runescape related things. I know a few people who think they same way as you, on the end of their "rs career" they want to sell their stuff to have something behind their hand. I'm not going to do it, i love the game too much for it. But think this, there are professional gamers who practise 4 years on a game and make 10000+ dollars out of it on tournaments. It's kinda logical you want something too in real life, to compensate your no lifing. Have fun in real life duke, i've enjoyed you from the early RuneScape times, and i still will. Adios duke, and enjoy college!
  10. Hi, throughout the years i've been member of this community. It started with the user "Dittos" where i gave a lot my personal opinions, wasn't always appreciated but meh. And then when RSC f2p got shutdown i moved to RS2 with my main "Gamerr". I've decided to quit RuneScape, i've had a lot of fun and i just don't enjoy it anymore. It's time to quit then eh! Final stats of my 2 main chars: Dittos & Gamerr ~Dittos - most recent pic i've found from him, he was ALL legit ~Gamerr - don't have a pic of today, i just hop this one in Well, i had a good time here, i'd like to thank all the mods/staff/crew members of making my time on tip.it/runescape so much fun! Goodbye all! -Gamerr
  11. Ahem no. RS2 DID come out at 2001. Nothing personal, but people like you annoy me like hell. You people are too lazy to search the exact date before posting, and are convinced of your own statements. I had a conversation with some "newbs" at fire giants erlier, they called me a "newb" because they were convinced RS2 came out in 2001. They were 100+, so it's quite shameful they still don't know anything about RS-history. Inform yourself before you post such statements, it can be VERY annoying...
  12. It's impossible  . It was possible the days after the launch of RS2 (~ a week after 01/04/2004 ) but now it has become impossible. Even playing RSC is quite hard these days, there are a lot of restrictions. You got to be p2p and you have to logged in on classic after 02/08/2005. Otherwise you won't be able to play, than a message will show up 'unable to find source code' or something, otherwise all your classic items will lay in your bank.
  13. FTW can also be "for the win". lmao = laughing my "back" off
  14. Ehm, for your information, RuneScape classic was created in 2000-2001, and was "transformed" into RS2 (RuneScape 3D) in 2004. Not in 2001, that's a big mistake.
  15. Havoc, that was the most immature explanation i've ever heard.
  16. You don't think either, and if you would, you wouldn't have made such a post  .
  17. End of february 2002 i started. Quite a long time tho... I've started playing RS2 for 100% since 1 august 2005, after the shutdown of RSC f2p.
  18. Nice story, easy written and not hard to read. Your career seems to have many ups and downs, but remember, when you're in a down, there's always an up! :P
  19. I think it's seed dibber, not seed dipper. Nice guide, everything you mention is very obvious to me, also because you told me half your guide yourself! It's very handy for beginning farmers, but i'd say only do farming when you got a lot of money, or you don't mind the slower (herb and watermelon) exp. Trees are worth it if you want to get farming up, just use trees to 75, and then magic trees and herbs all the way!
  20. I had pointed out for myself what i would/will do in p2p. I started training agility, and then i did all quests. Now i'm busy with bank organising and training all skills.
  21. Bob is normally always there. In a certain quest - " A tail of two cats " - you got to find him. He's almost always in Burthope, so it's not that special.
  22. You just figured out what we all know for ages now...
  23. The CS of JAGeX should need more people. I hope they realise once the players are fed up with it and will leave this game. JAGeX stays a company, and we are their costumers, so they have to take care of us.
  24. Aint gonna happen. As long the game stays popular, there will be members. Without members, RuneScape will be stopped in no time.
  25. I didn't mention smithing in my short list eh  . Maybe you're right about the rune, but there should be a change on some skills.
