I play RuneScape to achieve something, and in my eyes the only way to do it is (for me) training skills/quests etc. I do have fun, but i'm still active after 4 years because of the quests/skills and updates.

Hello! The idea of this topic came out a conversation with my friend. I speak Dutch, and when we talk about runescape in our own language (not English), it's suprising how many items/names used in RuneScape aren't translated. For example, there's a perfectly dutch word for ' coal ' (steenkool), but it's quite funny to use it, since coal is used in RuneScape. Other words like 2-hander, [insert weap here] long etc stay in English when i talk to my friend. Somebody has this too?

Why should you be able to smith pickaxes? It's nice how it is, there's a shop who sells it. And it isn't such a high price... So no.

I'd like to add one person to this list. Kryptix. He changed PK-ing in a great way, he tought many people on Runscapecentral to catch, and he has gone to the auto side later, but for me he was a revolution in classic. Blick too, she/he showed that a big team can make you stronger then you in fact are.

Pm me how :D. Anyway, people who have never played classic can't be a legend, because legends have gone trough every part of a game. I think only few new players know who Tks is/was, why lilyuffie is better then zezima etc.

No, smithing is one of the few skills that isn't easy. Only if you have money ofcourse. Keep it this way, smithing and especially mining are hard skills, for the real people who like to work for their skills.

I have no problems with people who aren't talented in English, but i do have a problem when people type small comments without re-reading them or pay a little attention to the sentence structure. Also, i have a lot of respect for people like Snake Slavik, who tried to explain in horrible English what his opinions were on Pk-ing in classic. (it was an old post, can't find it anymore) Atleast he tried, and we all know he was Russian so we had a good laugh with it :D .

Listened to a few of them, and there's one thing i have to conclude: You can sing, but you never win a song contest. :oops:

Glad i'm not the only one who had trouble with the camera :D . It was horrible the first day, good i had some rl friends who had a lot of patience :D.

I'm getting tired of this kind of topics. It not because people quit, they are banned eh? And it's not because there are rumours that somebody auto's he does eh? And it's not because you think something it's the truth eh? Respect the old players, and have a little trust in the old players.

Hi, I'm making this topic because i find the players of these days make too much accounts. I see people who create a level 3, train him up for like 1 week, then quit him and never play on him. It's a waist in my eyes of account names, but good is that most so called 'newbs' have number names. Anyway, what i'd like to know is how many accounts you own, and do you play on them often (i mean like an hour a week). Post away! -Gamerr

I don't understand it, why some people have so many problems to not play RuneScape when they have to study? I must say i maybe study less, but it's still enough for decent results. And if i can give you a good advice Alan, stop with RuneScape, if you now already have problems with the test to get into universtiy, what you think you'll do in universtiy? It's almost impossible to have a great life, a great runescape life (if you can call it a life) and good grades. I don't say it's impossible, but it's hard. You to choose, you could also stay off the PC for a while or ask your dad to set a PSW on the site runescape...

What's the definition of begging? If somebody on Karamja asks me for 30 coins because he has forgotten it, i'll give it to him. I call begging asking for items which are worth more then like 1k, because the beggers are too lazy to obtain them theirselves.

Why is a 500 euro worth so much? It's just a piece of paper... It's a question of arrangements between people, and it's meantioned so many times before, that this is a useless topic. Use the search option, and you'll find enough things to read a whole evening about ' party-hats '

What's the use of having so many accounts if you don't train them? I don't understand it...

It aren't the low players who sometimes get surrounded by greedy ones. When i see somebody dieing, and he stays polite and calm, i give food. Especially when i did Regicide, some guy was almost dead in those agility traps. I gave him food, he still died, but i picked up his stuff and gave it back. The RuneScape community should be a little more friendlier, because mostly hackers/scammers are frustrated players who seek another way to get some attention.

Monkey madness was really annoying. Rubbish award if you ask me, i spended almost 2 days completing it. I was happy tho :D

You call that low? *Duke looks at his 67 quest points Quests are boring "run here, run there, get this item, give to that NPC, get your reward"-tasks. I call it low because i've been a member for like 20 days and i have 140 QP, so people who have played for over a year should have higher unless they are pure in some way :)

Theiving Master farming gets quite boaring after some time, maybe you were daydreaming :lol: . Probably just a little lag problem :)

Well, if i watch pics of players at the 'Rate this' board with quite high skill total, i see often low (150-) quest points. I don't got a lot p2p experience, but in the 25 days i've been it, quests and training skills for quests is the only thing I did. When i ask my friends, i got only 2 or 3 who completed them all. My question is why? Allright, some quests are quite dumb, but others unlock shortcuts, give valuable experience for beginning p2p-ers and others give the ability to wear items others can't wear. (e.g. legends cape, a staff to be a monkey etc.) So in my eyes, there's no reason to not do them all, it's also a quite rewarding way to explore the RS-scene, and if you completed them all, there's nothing you can't have access to. Comments?

15000 characters on a RS-population of like 2-3 million characters? To be honest, i don't get excited about that...
