Three barrows trips isn't enough to get anything. Some people, like myself, have had 100+ trips without anything.

Black King, I wouldn't. In buying the cheaper set, you'd save around 300k, which is 50 prayer pots. Let's take these to barrows, assuming you have sufficient runes. 2 prayer pots a trip is 25 trips, which is a fairly high chance of a decent item.
