On an unrelated note, Crete has discovered an even better way to kill Mather than ever before. 1 ) Send 5 men to attack him.... 2 ) He over reacts and sends his whole army 3 ) It rains 4 ) He kills my 5 men 5 ) His weapons rust up, stainless steel being inventing much later on 6 ) I send another 5 men and slaugher his forces.

I don't think its that he wants to refer to it in EVERY post...but that he occasionally wants to because the story merits it.... I mean, you fight the evil hoards, massive boss fight, save the damsel/prince, who is stunningly beautiful and very grateful...and then goes off to live in a castle in a far away land after giving you a Sword that could blow half the hoard away in a single swipe. Personally I see it as a good way to avoid giving out masses and masses of high powered weapons and armour...its also a good filler for when you get kidnapped...Its either that or you are left alone in a room while they prepare some fiendish way to kill you, and personally, I have to believe that they would just stab you. Further it allows for families to be created and evil/good children to come and stop their good/evil parent....or for someone for them to rescue at some later point... Basically it opens up a lot of doors which are otherwise filled with 'You are unconscience for 30 minutes, go and make a samich or something'... Though obviously it would need to be regulated, but since we are playing with primal stuff, regulating it would be very difficult, the admin understand this and that is why they are unwilling to allow us to talk about that specific subject...

I might as well say it. A while ago, during the period when the Admin where helping the Tavern through a difficult patch, I suffered a serve bout of depression(as some of you know from Hegemony suddenly collapsing) and decided that it would be best if Falador Tavern had another Mod. The main reason for this was that I want to step down and just get away from the Tavern, but I couldn't put you guys through that...I know from my dealings with Varrock Library that when a mod disappears and no one steps into their place...or worse...the wrong person steps into their place...Things fall apart. So I worked out an agreement with the Admin, who were considering a second mod to lighten my load anyway, where I would take 2 weeks off, collect myself, while they found an emergency replacement if I did stand down, and we would decide what to do at the end of that. I recovered from the worst of it, and it has diminished considerably thanks to the support of everyone here. Thus (Cancel the party) I am staying for the moment, but we, myself and the admins, decided it was still neccessary for someone other than myself, to become properly versed with the Tavern(Or properly versed with the responsibilities of Modship, as it turned out :thumbsup: ). Although there were many other good candidates(It wasn't as simple as 'Doom is sane, she'll do'), Doom's sanity AND history with the Tavern, as well as her many other shining qualities, made her a clear frontrunner. So I congratulate her for being promoted to co-leader of the asylum. =P

Because we are not directly addressing you, nor are we refering to you, nor would we. Thus you do not need or have a responsibility to read our posts. Where as we have a responsibility to read your posts because they refer to your posts, and I am the moderator and thus have a duty to read all the posts.... Thus we do not create suffering when we post, you create suffering(for yourself) when you read the posts, and further suffering(for everyone else) when you post that you are suffering, because we are honourbound to read those posts. Furthermore we do not intend to cause suffering when we post, we intend to enjoy each other's company and to have a good time. When you post posts like this, your intent is to cause suffering and thus stop us from posting as we do. Here my intent is to prevent you from suffering in the future and thus prevent us suffering. If you are deeply upset by the style of posting I can only recommend you talk to an Admin about it and they will hopefully resolve the problem with their usual speed and vigor.

I think this was probably the simplest meme we have started. We posted exactly what we felt without complicating it with words. Also, Earth, I know you have trouble understanding these things, but you don't need to tell us each time you have trouble understanding...It just gives everyone else a headache...and spreading suffering is something that I am against.

Ran out of Ink just as I was getting to the lake so did some screenshots, and used an Inkweed from Retech's(I had just delieved a meat grinder and Metal Cauldron so I feel I am entitled to some kind of payment...since he transported me back I feel we are square now. =) Anyway there is a gap between the sick-green colour and the lake on Retech's side, however this is a simple river with no turn offs so should be fine. I will be working on finishing the maps I have started over the next week or so.
