Checking your Iban Staff for charges
I like that idea a lot. It would really help to show how many charges are left. I've never lost anything because of it, but I always wonder how many charges I have left.

Building a computer
Hey everyone, I'm building a computer and I need some help with what parts to use. I'd like your input on what parts to use. I have some ideas for some things but here is what I would like your input on. Keep in mind that I do have a budget $1000-$2000 (probably on the lower end. I don't know yet since my mom is paying for part of it since it will be used by my whole family). If I really need to go over budget to get what I think I need, but I'd like to stay under budget. [*:2os3ge1p]Case (A Case with a USB port or two on the front would be nice. A thermometer would be nice too, but not required). [*:2os3ge1p]Cooling System (If the case doesn't come with adequete fans) [*:2os3ge1p]Motherboard [*:2os3ge1p]Processor (I'm leaning towards an AMD processor, but if you have a good Intel I'll consider it). [*:2os3ge1p]RAM (around 2 GB. 2x 1GB is fine). [*:2os3ge1p]Hard Drive (or two for RAID :D. ) [*:2os3ge1p]Hard Drive controller [*:2os3ge1p]RAID Card [*:2os3ge1p]Power supply [*:2os3ge1p]Video Card [*:2os3ge1p]Sound Card [*:2os3ge1p]Dual CD Drives. I'd like one to play CDs and DVDs 48x preferably, and another to write CD's and DVD's. I'd like it to be able to write DVD+R and DVD-R. 16x is a good speed [*:2os3ge1p]Floppy Disk Drive I already have a mouse, keyboard, and monitor, so I don't need those. I would like to be able to use this PC for higher end games so consider when choosing. I was also considering an external hard drive for more storage, so if you think that's needed or not would also help me. Thanks in advance to anyone who helps, and I hope this computer works fine for me.

RuneScape downloads everytime I play
I was at my dad's house this weekend so I didn't have time to try emptying me .file_store_32 folder, but I did and it worked. Thank you very much Karvinen.

BANKING - Saving your Setup? (you'll want it!)
I thought about tabbed banking a while ago, but this idea is cooler. I'm am totally for this idea. If we petition Jagex or something, I'll sign it.

1 Day all of rs Is wildy
A PK only server wouldn't work. 10 PK only servers maybe, but not one. Way to many people would complain they couldn't get on the PK only server because it's always full. Jagex would have to make multiple PK only servers.

I need help about programing
I didn't mean that HTML would help him learn vb. What I meant was learning HTML (yes, i know, he can't right programs with it) might help him get the hang of writing things in a computer language. It'll help him check for errors, make sure all tags are closed (comparable to adding end at the end of some commands, etc.), and other things. I was saying that HTML and vb are related.

RuneScape downloads everytime I play
Right now I have JRE 1.5.0_01. I know it's not the newest, but it works (or worked fine) now and update 4 has no big changes. Plus I have to use another computer to download it, since my computer has dial-up it times out when I try to download the 110+ mb file. And I know JDk is for writing programs, not playing games, I just said that since that was the biggest change I could think of and had to do with java. Now the error I'm getting is not actually an error. I can play Runescape (no reload this page, the game updated message), but I have to download the files as if there was an update every single time I play. Like it has a black screen saying loading title screen, that loads (the normal flames and Runescape Logo appear), then it says loading 3D models, loading sounds, etc. Usually it just says unpacking models, unpacking sounds, etc. if there is no update, but I have to download the whole game everytime. Like none of the game files will stay in my cache.

I got the picture in my signature at http://www.rsbandb.com. Just go there and click on signatures and put in your stats. It will give you a link to that picture.

RuneScape downloads everytime I play
I'm having a problem playing RuneScape and I cannot figure it out. Whenever I go to play RuneScape I have to download the whole game again. It says loading title screen, then loading game code, etc. I have JRE 1.5.0_01. I'm running Windows 98 SE. I haven't changed anything big really since it started happening. It started the day farming came out. There was the farming update so I had to download it all, there was an update, so it was normal. I got off and got on later that day and I had to load the game again, but I thought Jagex just fixed something and it was just an update. Then I was busy for about a week and didn't play RuneScape for a while and didn't realize that it was my computer till about a week and a half later. I did Download JDK 1.5.0_04 about a week earlier, but it worked fine for a week before I experienced this problem. I have to go now, but help would be greatly appreciated. If you need any other information, just ask. I play using the official RS Client. EDIT:I'm back now and have a little more time to finish this post. I cleared all my temporary internet files and cookies in Internet Explorer and Firefox thinking maybe there was a file in there that didn't get properly downloaded, so the game thought there was an update everytime I played, but that didn't help. My Java is working fine for other programs, and I also tried changing the java applet used to play the game, but that also didn't help. I played Runescape Classic and it had to download (I cleared my temporary internet files). I then tested it by going back to the main menu, then opened up Runescape Classic again, and it did not need to download, so the problem is only with Runescape 2. I heard of a few other people also having this problem after the farming update, but it works fine for most people and at my dads house it works fine too. I have not installed any new software or hardware, or updated anything that I can remember since the problem start or right before it (except JDK). My anti-virus and anti-spyware are up to date, and I scan regularly. I have Norton System works 2005 and Spybot Search and Destroy, if you are wondering. I also have Norton Personal Firewall, also up to date. I have dial-up (yes, I know) here and it is very frustrating to have to wait 10 minutes just to change worlds. Any help or ideas would be greatly appreciated.

Muted Questions
Lol, I do realize that the universe is expanding, not static, but until Tip.it comes out with dynamic locations, I won't update my location everyday, and it'll stay where it is.

Muted Questions
You will only be muted temporarily. If after a few days you still cannot talk, send Jagex a customer support query, although, it should be gone by then.

windows XP help
Um... formatting your hard drive will erase everything on it, so if you have stuff on it you need, then you need to back it up before you format your hard drive. And format c: will work, but not in windows. You need to put in your boot disk, and start your computer and get to a command prompt then type format c:, and you should be able to format it, just make sure your stuff is backed up first.

I need help about programing
I would recommend C++ or vb. Pascal is not very widely used anymore (I'm 15 and my mom about took a programming class in Pascal in college, with punch cards, not computers btw). HTML can be a good language to learn just to get the hang of programming, since it's pretty basic, although, no to usefull for writing programs. Once you get really good at C++ or vb, you could try learning java, but it's a little more complicated, and I wouldn't recommend starting out with it. Smc5528, I know what you're talking about. I played a lot of games, and wrote a few, plus some other programs, like a quadratic equation solver, and a fractal generator (not too good without color though). Also if you have a graphing calculator, that's also a good place to start. That's how I got started programming.

Examine button on player
It would be extremely hard to do this though. If you did write a program it would only be client side. You'd have to some how change the servers source code. You could make an examine option, but other players couldn't use it.

Keyboard modification
and then you're typing on the little rubber cones that are under the caps on most modern keyboards... which are held on very losely and easy to break off  now if you were to remove them all.. and then replace them in a differen't arangement, that would confuse the hell out of alot of people  I did that last night before i finished reading this topic, then I went to bed since it was kinda late, but I switched all the keys, and I'll post a pic in a second. Edit: I posted the pic of my keyboard (obviously). Now random noobs don't use my computer and they can't see my type my password. Well, not really, that's a mac keyboard, and I use my PC for RuneScape, but oh well, it's still cool.

~: Lock Please :~
Lol, why would anyone in classic even care if they have to fairly level agility while others don't? They shouldn't even want to level agility, it has absolutely no purpose in classic, except getting total level up for those high scores that aren't there anymore (you can't run in classic for you rs2 players). I do also think Jagex needs to do something about classic, but a mass ban wouldn't do much, people still auto after the last 3,000 got banned. A player mod might be a good solution, but Jagex isn't going to do that without a lot of players supporting it, and all the autoers will be against it. I hope Jagex doesn't get rid of classic, since I do play it some and the autoers would all come to RS2.

Firemaking, a much more fun skill!
I like that idea. Firemaking isn't much fun to train, and that would just be cool to juggle fire and stuff.

Security Suggestion...
Good idea, but 1337 H4X0R5 would still get my account. We have a wireless network setup at my dad's house. As long as there within about 100 feet of the house they could still get my account. They're probably outside my house right now hacking me  , lol. But really, I do think this is a good idea. But the biggest problem is that if you only have one ip set and your changes, you're kinda screwed unless you can remember it exactly and change back to what it was.

When does your school get out??
Sunmann99, where do you go to school. I get out and go back the same days as you. I probably know you,. I go to school in Michigan. OK, probably not, but yeah, June 8th I get out and go back September 1st.

A level beyond 126 (Read before you judge ! )
I like the idea. That'd be cool to see level 300's walking around. But Jagex shouldn't make this update until my combat level is 126  . Great Idea.

Weird RS hobbys?
Wow! Like everyone here is a kleptomaniac, "omg a hammer, i'd better take that!" Lol. That would include me too. I've been kind of collecting burnt lobs, and swordies. I only have 300 burnt lobs, and around 160 burnt swordies though. I don't burn themas much anymore, stupid high cookng level. As for blackbane, you have a lot of patience. 100k cabbages!?!? I could never do that.
