wow, that's awful, I mean, losing that huge amount of time, cash, and effort is bad, but to have a friend do that, that's, terrible, to put it in clean language. I've been fluctuating between being talking and being helpful and being only nice to my friends. Like, I've seen a few low level players being mauled by bears or whatever, I go kill the bear for them. What kept you motivated to play after those kind of losses? being betrayed by a friend and losing 500m + a red mask and whatever else? What kept me motivated is the fact that RS remains the nicest game MMORPG I've ever played. The goals are very long term and the game itself provides fun for every type of player. Whether you are a skiller (like me) or a mercher, pker or bosshunter; the game remains challenging... I've tried other games like LOTRO & WOW and those were fun to start but once you reached max combat & max crafting levels all there was left to do was farm bosses week after week to get max gear. And by the time you reached that they plan a new update box, you had to buy again (on top of the +10 member fee month after month) and you could restart leveling, crafting and getting geared up again. Not my cup of tea. OT: Besides there are scammers in every game and WOW is probably the game that has the most hacked accounts ever. So after all RS isn't so bad :) The best thing to do is not to worry too much about in game value and just have fun in your own way. Losing cash because of greedy people isn't fun, especially when they rob all of your bank value but you still have your skills to get back on track. Exactly 2 months after being hacked I've gathered 7 skillcapes and got almost all my money back. Got full melee slayer gear again (bandos, dfs, rapier etc etc) only thing is still miss is my Armadyl ranged gear but working on that now. Should have that in less than 10 days normally :) Making cash is very easy once you got the skills...

You loved bots? How can someone love bots? They ruin the game for every skiller who wants to do stuff their own way. I personally never buy XP. I enjoy my skillcapes most by earning every single XP of them.

Well isn't that just sad? This isn't the service I've been paying for the past years. Ever since they brought back free trade the game has gone downhill so fast it makes me dizzy... If they only care about profit there won't be many legit highlevel players left willing to swallow these nonsense day after day. I spend at least 2-3 hours a day on RS. I considered playing this game being a hobby, but when I look at my friendslist and the old friends who've quit the game or who took a break I'm starting to think I should do the same. Just park my account and check back in a year from now what's changed... Atm it's simply impossible to decently train a skill: I wanted to get hunter up to L93 but there were 3 (!) bots boxtrapping red chins... Couldn't even remember what my boxes were since they literally packed all the spots... Slayering Nechs? 4-5 highlevel bots farming them at tower. Nobody talked, nor complained when I halfkilled them and ran to another. *sighs* I don't think it's normal the legit players have to keep hopping worlds to find a less botted spot so we can finally get a fraction of the XP they grind day after day after day...

Took me weeks and weeks to finally reach L85 dungeoneering. To me it's the most terrible skill ever and I solo'ed all of it. I know it's not the best way to gain XP but since 90% of RS population are botters and selfish kids I prefer playing solo. Anyways, I reached 85 dung and geared up with my precious rapier, cannon etc to go own some Frost Dragons. I enter there and it's just PACKED with cannons and dragon armor nubs... I was like 'WTF' and started spam talking to some of them. NOBODY talked back. I mean over 15-20 people I was chasing and asking questions and they just kept doing the same stuff over and over again... I'm starting to hate this game and the mentality of Jagex who prefer hard cash over the joy of their loyal gamers. I'm seriously considering to quit this game till the day Jagex comes up with a solution. I read they were gonna take legal actions against all companies selling bots/scripts etc AND against all bot users... ROFLOL, so they can't detect botters in-game and now they're gonna stop them in real life???? :thumbdown: GF JAGEX

Why get a whip for training att/def JacTise? I heard from my clanmates rapier > whip for training att/def. I'm getting my rapier in 15 minutes and only need 7 more def levels (99att/str already) and my clanmates assured me rapier is alot better than whip...

Weird well it surprises me then it cost me about 100k shards to get sum 86-88 with rock lobsters. All I bought was the shards. Fm'ing doesn't cost me a thing since I get the maples from MTK and I make profit selling the herbs, seeds (farm 99) & bird nests... So nope, firemaking doesn't cost a thing to me :)

Exactly my thought, although it's not funny to me and I would never remember having seen this before... The dragon boots dragon is cooler :thumbsup:

Sorry to hear from your loss. I think everyone has been at a point where they lost money due to other people's evilness. Been lured into wildy wearing a red h'ween, been hacked for over 500m because a guy I had been friends with for nearly 4 years suddenly hacked into my account with all the info he gathered over the years to solve my recovery questions... I mean: there's no limits to the greed of other people. Now I stopped sharing personal info and I'm not helping out people anymore. If a stranger comes to me for a helping hand I tell 'em to leave me alone. Sad how bad experiences changed my in-game behaviour and kindness...

And you're not contributing at all. Ontopic: I feel the frustration of that mate, although it's kinda hard to get pk'ed around L20 wildy (Suggesting you were pk'ing bots over there) I go out and hunt bots too once in a while (too bad I can't get em skulled would be awesome) and I've never been killed there. Sometimes some lower level numnut tries to take me on but soon realizes CB133 isn't the easiest CB level to KO :)

Ok point taken. There are people who enjoy being spanked or kicked in the nuts too, so what was I thinking wondering what the fun of killing the harmless is lol :thumbsup:

How can it be fun? There's no challenge in it? It's like walking around in your city and kicking lil kids who are defenseless vs grownups... I don't see the fun of attacking/killing someone who's skilling and doesn't care about cb at that point. I understand why people attack skillers in Stealing Creation, since it's a way to win the game and get extra points. But attacking some guy wearing 50k of wealth, while it takes alot of time + cash to get your gear+pouches back doesn't make sense to me... (not even talking about the cost of the pots you waste killing the defenceless kiddo who's rc'ing...)

I collect every week to every ten days. Depends how busy I am in RL with work etc. Also: I agree on the fact that it's easiest to just put it on maples/herbs rather than looking up what gives the best profit before you collect all. I personally don't care about 100K cash since it's peanuts to the higher level people who make most cash with cb skills...

I agree on that. But I personally like training rc once in a while. I hate summoning atm since it's a very expensive skill. I don't have trouble making money, but moneymaking is usually doing alot of stuff I'm maxed at or that is very boring due to its repetitive character. So I've been using all my penguin pts, random xp lamps etc on summoning lately. Saves me the efforts of doing the boring runs to get summon XP and I'm getting closer to pack yack without efforts. After that I'll probably stop using them on yack and focus on herblore. It's a personal choice what you use it on, but imo it's stupid to use it on any other skill than rc (for the boredom) or sum/herblore/pray for the cost of it...

Nothing changed tho. Still drinking beer & watching my screen while the lady is sleeping... NO LIFE :thumbsup:

I enjoy pking the green dragon bots too tbh. Just tb & nuke 'em. Quick invent of dbones in 30 seconds :)

Exactly my thought. I had this wonderful spot to train combat where I actually got 350-400k solid per hour. I think it has something to do with the ROW drop table, anyway I used to be the only one training there but recently it's just packed there :( So gotta find a better spot, maybe something hard to reach, dunno...

Imo there's nothing wrong with rewarding people who are loyal to the member worlds. Calling this bribery sounds wrong, it's just an extra motivation for the players who are looking for yet more emotes etc. I'm not interested in these things, nor in the titles but the aura's to increase ranged damage seem handy to me. I do understand people dislike it though, since it's another update directly linked to member fees...

That's the point here: it doesn't help reporting adds or bots anymore. I report at least 10 bots a day. The ones I see every day in my homeworld at the same spot. I even monitor a L132 who changes skill every so many weeks after hitting 99. First it was fishing sharks at Catherby for weeks, now it's powermining iron east of ardougne. I report it every time and so do other people around it. Yet it's still there. I'll keep reporting but I doubt it actually contributes a thing...

1.Just a hint, but the silencer on the uzi is wrong calibre. I don't even think a silencer exists in that calibre since it's huge. Remember an UZI fires off 9mm bullets so the inner tube of the silencer can't be a big hole like yours. It should be in proportion and have the same diameter as a 9mm bullet with a lil space ofc or the bullet would get stuck. 2.Another remark about the uzi: there's no button to release the clip. It's normally just above the handle on the left side, so you can easily press it with your right thumb while switching clips with the left hand. Strongest hand never leaves the handle :) Nice work btw. I love weapons, and they look fine imo! (Been in the military for 6 years and I'm a weapons freak, so this is accurate info ;) )

Ontopic plz? Spamming again, are you? You'll never learn my young padawan. Anyway as stated before you always seem to be choosing sides with the botters, ge manipulators & chat spammers. No matter what people discuss or rant about you always say the opposite. I feel no need to keep pointing your mistakes out as u live in a fantasy world. You say the botting problem hasn't gotten much worse. Well I've seen a drastic chance in F2P/P2P worlds very fast after free trade got re-introduced. Many people say the same, yet you remain stubborn (I guess too proud to admit your wrong) and there you go again spamming some more with offtopic nonsense. Ow well... You'll never learn :) :shame:

Ok let me explain since only phohlol understood the question. I just started collecting strange rocks today. Every Tuesday I finish a statue by adding the last two strange rocks from that week. In my case it was only the construct rocks to add this morning. The statue exploded and now I'm rebuilding for this week. I've already added: FM, fletch, cook, herblore, woodcutting & now I was trying to get the thief rocks. I just did this quest last week or so, so this is the first time I try to get my two thief strange rocks at these NPC's. Gathered over half a mil thief XP now and fed up with it. Usually I get all the strange rocks in one day, but I guess I'll have to take more time now. Going to master farmer since it's quite obvious the monkeys don't give strange rocks. Sad I wasted time here, luckily I'm not 99 thief yet :P

Can anyone confirm whether I will eventually get my needed strange rocks (Shattered Heart) from pickpocketing the monkey knife fighters at Ape Atoll? Have been going of for almost two hours (+400k XP) and didn't get one so far. Yes it's enabled since I've gotten alot of other strange rocks today already, but dunno... It's never taken me this long to get 'em, not at master farmer and not at ardougne market. Weird... :(
