    Dungeoneering

I'm none of them, I'm this one: The Dungeoneer Hater - Rather amputates his own legs than spending one more second doing this incredibly stupid & useless NON-skill that got released because Jagex-staff has too many $$$-signs in their eyes to notice what the average player likes to do... He therefore decided to quit members and not pay one more cent for this game as long as Jagex doesn't realize this is total bull****. This kind of player is normally very diplomatic and well-behaving, but when he hears the word 'Dungeoneering' he transfroms into a huge, heavily-muscled, green monster that hates everything & everyone!

    Monster limit

Dungeoneering is no skill as the others in the first place... This more of a boring minigame if u ask me... Except u don't get nice items, unless u do it for an insane amount of time. And why is this not a skill? Because it's not meant to solo. If you solo it gives you way less XP and it takes way longer. All the other skills are solo based and give u all the profit and xp you work for. Dungeoneering is just insanely boring and gives you no advantage at all if u do it alot... SAD
  3. Beuh, this is one lame topic imo. You can't judge/point a finger at a whole group of people. Pmods aren't different than most other players, except they get rewarded for their loyalty playing for a long time, behaving correctly, not botting & helping people in-game. Afaik there are no known tricks to become a pmod so if you say you have to report a lot, that sounds like wild guessing & negative energy to me. I happen to know some pmods from in 'Council of elders' and all the mods in there are awesome people. Not because they're awesome mods, not because they rock as a person. Even if 99% of the pmods are numnuts who report everyone for the smallest thing (which is not the case ofc) one or good pmod would still make it rediculous to judge the pmod system. The only thing that frustrates me alot, but that's JAGEX's fault, is you get reported for calling names or offensive language & not for autotypers & botters. I quit members for some months now, because I'm playing WOW now. Yet when there are maintenances going on or I'm fed up with WOW for a day, I come mining in Al Kharid. Just to talk to some friends in the meantime & to do something usefull. 10 minutes ago I got fed up with mining again because it was only me & three others. 2 iron ore miners who kept circling around the rocks and mining everything, except the ores I mine coz they can't take em that fast. One of them just standing there, till mith/addy ores pop up. When I talk nobody gives a reaction. When I keep beating the mith/addy miner everytime he doesn't start to complain/flame... I thought Jagex did something about macroers? Total rubbish impo
  4. Title says it all. After playing for +5 years I've decided to go play another game. When Jagex invented the trade limit & the GE I took a 1y-break to play LOTRO. Once I achieved everything I could achieve there I came back to RS to give it a new chance. It seemed ok and I quickly found out the game got nicer in graphical & gameplaying way. One thing that bothered me most till now were the merch clans & the autoers everywhere advertising for these clans. I still don't understand why Jagex doesn't do anything about this. BUT the main thing why I have decided to quit RS for a year again is the new skill dungeoneering. I worked hard the last months getting slayer, mining & farm +85 and all skills +70. Also got my QP to +270 and managed to get a full haloween mask set. My next goal was getting all skills +75 and then make cash so I could afford a white phat. That was before dungeoneering was released. Come on: this is nothing but a sucky minigame! No skill, no challenge, no fun. I don't see why I would waste my time doing something as boring as this for no reward at all. O yes, there are rewards but they don't contribute anything to the game at all and are extremely timeconsuming to obtain. Not only do I lack the patience to get this skill to 75 but I simply lost faith in Jagex at this point. I work hard during the week, I'm away from home alot doing training courses in other European countries or just spending time with my wife. And when I get home and wanna relax I simply can't do it with RS anymore. I'm sighing all the time and don't find satisfaction anymore. I started World Of Warcraft two weeks ago and find it quite amusing. I'll see how long it takes before I feel the need to come back and try RS again... For now it's over... Cya later Tip.It & gl to everyone who thinks RS is still fun :) Laterz... Son Of Judas
  5. Tyvm =) I love it when questions get answered quickly!
  6. Well since dungeoneering is both free & memb I was thinking about it :)
  7. Topic title says it all... I'm talking about the reward from dungeoneering :)
  8. I also hear that some people are bringing level 3s along to decrease the difficulty. Not to mention the fact that the skill is partial to lower levels, the level 3s gain higher experience points, don't have to do anything, and contribute more to the dungeon than anything else. Now that's an interesting thing to know
  9. The first room near portal is the one with lectern in my house. I just make teletabs while waiting. Magic XP with profit :)
  10. I used to flip furies but I heard they're crashing... That's 1mil effortless I lose now :(
  11. Fm might be boring, I just try to get one level once in a while... That's all, everything gets boring if u do it too much in a short period. Dungeoneering is just hell because I gotta do it fulltime to get my achievement again soon. I worked hard to get +2k total and everything +70 without getting L99's and now this stupid skill came in. I don't understand why this isn't just a minigame. Now Jagex forces me to play a game I don't like and it's not contributing anything to my character's skills. It's not like I earn money from it or get nice extras. Only the rewards, half of them is useless or a scam like the nat/law-staff and the others will take ages to get!
  12. So exactly my thought: it takes ages to get the items (and when u get them they aren't even worth going for them) & the new skill is Uber boring... I wonder why Jagex didn't wait a bit longer to release a skill actually worth doing!
  13. I think this isn't a skill like the others. This should have been a minigame... I was working on getting all skills +75 and now I gotta get this *%$+ skill up too and it's boring like h...
  14. I voted yes. I think the moment people start abusing others who don't know what they're doing, it's wrong. The merch clan leaders pick an item, start massive buying it with their clan members and then sell all items they bought when the price has gone up. BUT they don't tell their members when to sell, they sell before their members do, so their own money is safe. So undirectly Jagex approves scamming. If solo players like flipping items I have no problem with it, it's like with stocking etc IRL. They risk cash and if it works: good, if it doesn't: sorry your own fault... + maybe banning all GE abusers would take the autoers away near GE. I hate it Jagex allows this too!
  15. I know what you mean, but I'm so tired of answering drop rates. It's different for everyone. I'm not a lucky guy in game. Compared to my in-game friends I'm terribly unlucky with d drops. This goes for every drop. It's all random luck, no need to keep making topics about it
  16. Don't think so. Sometimes I get 4 in one task, other times I have to do 5-6 before getting a drop...
  17. Definately not, the situation is going insane atm. And when the price keeps raising it will cause people to farm tokkuls more than ever. Many range/mage pures will train there because it's faster XP than dragons and no need to bank that often. I've been spending cash on rares since day one and my mask set is now 273m value. Not bad if you ask me. They keep raising and will do so forever, since rares keep getting rares and there are never gonna be added new ones. I've seen movies on YT where people alch their rares before quitting etc so this is all good for us, people who keep their rares :)
  18. I was away for work and didn't have the ability to play RS the last 14 days. When I returned I noticed the new skill and also there is something new about the slayer masters. If I understand the RS info about it, you may get a special task assignment aside the regular tasks the masters hand out. I just wonder if it is an extra achievement or it gives you anything special apart from slayer points & experience. I would do all the slayer objectives starting with the easiest one, but only if it it's worth spending time on 13 wolves, 17 crocodiles or 9 banshees lol
  19. You do lose your task count. Only if you spend 30 points to cancel the task it won't affect the task count...
  20. I got something that isn't selling: a santa hat. I wanna sell it and buy blue mask with the cash santa makes + cash I got :( And yh: u can leave it in there forever, but after 6 days not selling I'm starting to get anxious :)
  21. What r u guys talking about? I clean 1k herbs a day and vial them to make sure they sell. I made 1k yesterday coz they were the best profit and the sold within 20 minutes at MID... Calling kwuarm unf pots junk is silly
  22. Lol that's nice of u to tell us, but tbh... I don't think that this is the meaning of "Help and Advice"
  23. Ok thx everyone. I'm making ardougne tele tabs now. Decent XP and profit. This should do :)
  24. As long as everyone wants L99's so badly, willing to pay insane amounts of gold, the prices won't drop. Where most of the players are cursing the prices have gone up so badly, others enjoy it more everyday. Many people got pures (me too) and when training them it's better to do on dragons. My pure is 1pray so I gotta sell em anyway, which pays for my arrows and runes...
