Ok let me explain since only phohlol understood the question. I just started collecting strange rocks today. Every Tuesday I finish a statue by adding the last two strange rocks from that week. In my case it was only the construct rocks to add this morning. The statue exploded and now I'm rebuilding for this week. I've already added: FM, fletch, cook, herblore, woodcutting & now I was trying to get the thief rocks. I just did this quest last week or so, so this is the first time I try to get my two thief strange rocks at these NPC's. Gathered over half a mil thief XP now and fed up with it. Usually I get all the strange rocks in one day, but I guess I'll have to take more time now. Going to master farmer since it's quite obvious the monkeys don't give strange rocks. Sad I wasted time here, luckily I'm not 99 thief yet :P

Can anyone confirm whether I will eventually get my needed strange rocks (Shattered Heart) from pickpocketing the monkey knife fighters at Ape Atoll? Have been going of for almost two hours (+400k XP) and didn't get one so far. Yes it's enabled since I've gotten alot of other strange rocks today already, but dunno... It's never taken me this long to get 'em, not at master farmer and not at ardougne market. Weird... :(

I agree here. All you say is you don't have money, but slay has always been very profiting for me. I must admit I never powerslayer though. I try to do 2-3 tasks a day and after every task I do a herb farming run. This gets me nice xp and cash (I don't sell the herbs, since I'm only 86 herblore atm). I do take the time to bank ashes/d bones. Just because I can't stand the idea of not doing so. I don't have a yak either, but when I get a dragon task I always take a turtoise and bank as much as I can. Especially in Kuradal's dung it would be stupid not too. Just bring your staff to bank via the fairy ring. It's very fast and I gain over a mil pure cash on blue drag tasks usually.

Well it's not nice to flame but it's not nice to troll/spam either. And I disagree about the outcome being determined anyway. If they organize a poll about it, how could they possibly ignore the vote of the player then. If there would have been a mass 'no' vs wild/free trade they wouldn't have had another choice...

My account is 7-8 years out and yet I can't get the classic cape. I started playing at the beginning of RS2 and not sure whether I ever tried RSC but I thought so. Anyway, I can't get the cape :(

Things than annoy me: (Old) people driving 30KM/H where 50 is allowed. Crying babies. Warm beer. My gf nagging my ears off to do stuff while I'm playing RS. Emokids. Strange people staring at my gf not even hiding the fact they're staring. My cat who puts its claws in every possible piece of furnature in the living room, even my legs. Justin Bieber. Drunk people who try and start a conversation with me but are unable to talk and keep mumbling and when you look away they touch you to get your attention back but they still keep mumbling. Gasoline prices. Trolls on forums. Fat women wearing tight shirts so you see their bellies hanging over their belt. Fat men wearing sloppy jeans so u can almost see half of their backsides. Warm beer. People trying to take part in a discussion about politics but have no clue what they're talking about. Animal abuse. People who smoke and blow smoke in your face without knowing they do. People who smoke in general. When I wanna make love to the lady and she says she's too tired. My gf who wants to make love when I'm too tired. People who snore. People talking during a movie. Warm beer, definately. Alot more but I'm getting annoyed spending too much time typing here...

If I were you I'd just mine iron ores at dwarf mine and bank em in the deposit box in the resource dung. You'll get alot of iron at a good pace and once you have a large amount you can sell a part of it to buy coal ores. You'll get alot more XP doing this and in the end you can still smelt/smith. Although tbh I would sell all the iron ores of and just buy gold ores to raise smithing (goldsmithing gauntlets). Since your crafting is low too, you can then make gold bracelets and alch or sell those again to regain cash :)

I think everyone except Israel & USA knows who's wrong in this case. I don't feel the need to explain myself further but every person I have discussed this with in the past months always gets to the same conclusion. Palestina is the victim and Israel the aggressor in this story. :(

I have no clue, but I think they monitor your activity and since it's impossible for humans to click at the same exact speed with exactlly identical times between the clicks, I don't think you have to worry :)

I don't even have to assume to know you troll in every single topic on Tip.It forums. Have been paying attention to what you post lately and it's always the same. You react in a scepting, negative way towards people no matter what their opinion/post content is. You have no intention at all to add something decent and you seem to be happy to always be on the opposite side of what people complain about. This concerned parent complains about something and you say he's responsible because his kid probably did something wrong. As Ring Worm says: just put the private button on friends and only people you have added in your friends list will talk to you. As an argument against this you say you like it when random people talk to you so you got the chance to meet new people. Why not just add the persons you meet in game and you think seem nice? If they then ever decide to whisper you it's no problem at all :)

[hide] Its bad because it became known that they are great effigy droppers and people are there for level-up purposes with money making intent as well. If I was a botter I would run my character at black demons to get levels/money/effigies. Bots are a problem however restricted trade does not act as a solution. Black demons will ALWAYS be botted since it drops effigies and is a good money maker good for both advancing your own character or to sell gold. They werent historically botted because they would cost money before, the change wasnt in the free trade but in the update that made them useful. Not going to deny that the vote was rigged. All im arguing for is that the effects of restricted trade are worse then free trade. These are 'bot armies' all ran from the same pc/computer network with one purpose. Leveling up asap and gaining as much ashes and valuable stuff as possible. Lol'ed here and stopped reading. You realize this is a game, as in entertainment. Not a job where you work your ass off to get promoted or to make ends meat, but a game. It has its problems, many of them to be exact. There is a lot of [cabbage] in here that is far from fair, but at the end of the day if you have fun then continue playing if you dont then leave. To all your points, do they all make the game so terrible that you cant enjoy playing anymore? Yes: Pack up and head to World of Warcraft or some other game! Well Ring World wanted one reason he couldn't find answer for why free trade is bad suddenly? Try doing a black demons task in taverley dungeon: I'm the only legit player in there surrounded by bots and their cannons. I've never experienced that before tbh. This is the first year where I have trouble doing tasks due to bots. If it wasn't for the Kuradal dung I would have given up tbh. Now I had to change my tasks and unblock hellhounds & block black demons. Although hellhounds are no profit at all (except the clue scroll drops) where black demons give decent profit nowadays but if I want decent slayer XP I had to black 'em. This is why I'm against the free trade. I couldn't care less if some idiot grinds XP while he's sleeping just to brag to the RS world he has 99's (botted but still). But once I feel my gameplay has gotten worse X10 compared to last year that's simply WRONG. At first Jagex allowed autoclickers for the vote, since you could keep voting on the same pc. Then they realized it was getting stupid since there were 5x more votes than there were actual players. So they changed it you could only vote once per IP-address and then many PVP clans (and probably bot companies) ran all kinds of tricks to reset IP's & clean browse history/cookies so unlimited votes for free trade could be added. I said no back then and I still say no. I don't want cheap resources for my leveling since I gather all my stuff myself. I never pay for XP. Maybe that's the reason I only have one L99 atm in 8 years. BUT I always enjoyed every bit of XP was self earned. Nowadays there are players called IllIliLi and sqjdfdsfkj running around gathering all kinds of stuff and nothing is done against them. At first I believed Jagex was actually gonna attack the bots and try to stop them. But that's all a joke if you watch it now... SAD

I voted no. First: because I don't pk and don't wanna get killed by greedy persons when I'm runecrafting or digging clues. Second: because I don't like bots at all. I report dozens of them every day I play (and see the same botters every day, without them being removed from the game). And no matter what people say, I've been playing RS for like 8 years now and the bot problem was alot smaller when free trade got removed. People then botted XP wise to gain skillcapes they don't deserve, but nothing actually influenced the RS economy that much as it does today. People who say the bot problem was always there are either drunk or stoned or ignorant or lying. No offence, but it's nearly impossible now to do a slayer task on lucrative monsters unless you visit Kuradal, but only high players have that luck. I feel sorry for the newcomers trying to level their skills/cb nowadays. Third: Also because hacking and luring are common like never before. First I got lured into wildy and got my red h'ween mask ripped and then 6 weeks ago, I got hacked by a friend losing over 500mil in cash and items. Three years of online chatting, duo skilling and messing around and the guy suddenly sent me a hidden keylogger via MSN & hacked me overnight. Thx alot Jagex! Luckily I'm not the begging/complaining type of guy. I just restarted playing like a madman and have gotten 20% of my original wealth back in two months. Anyway I don't know why people say "My one vote wouldn't have changed a thing against all the 'yes'-voters" Omg, then please never participate in elections in real life either. *ignorance is a bless*

This is the most ignorant reaction I've seen in a long time. My little brother has been gaming since he was 6 and all I can say he's a normal teenager who speaks English better than I do, thx to the internet. I don't know why you pour oil on the fire this man started but it's childish and doesn't show any empathy at all. Sad... Ontopic: I think the reactions are rather negative towards this concerned father. It seems his whole family plays and he did take measures (like the kids not being able to run/install [Caution: Executable File]'s) to protect his kids (and their accounts). I don't understand why people keep saying his daughter might have botted anyway since you obviously need external software for it, and since it's impossible to install it unless you're admin, I feel it's wrong to keep repeating the same rubbish. I feel for this father and hope the problem can be solved. Can't help much more than just saying: all the best!
