  1. Don't forget The Mummy Mishap, The Sentinel Slip-up, The Skeleton Scare, and The Zealot...er I don't have one for that. Curious, what was the skeleton one? Chinning under Ape Atoll? Skeletal Horde inside a dungeon was obscene exp/hr when EoC came out.

  3. Except Riptide was referencing the NIS, which was in a very long beta testing period. That isn't to say I really agree with him. NIS alpha & beta actually fixed a lot of game-breaking glitches, such as the time you could equip multiple armor pieces or something along those lines. There were a lot of small to medium sized updates released on a regular basis. The "final" build that went live with RS3 was never tested by players, and I don't think there were any updates to the NIS beta the entire month of July.
  4. Why even have beta tests if they don't actually use them for testing? This should have occured during the beta test, not once the update went live.
  5. I couldn't pay attention to anything in that video except for the giant sore on Mod Osbourne's face, absolutely disgusting. They should have had someone else fill his roll or at least tried to cover it up.
  6. Yet when woox did it at the KK Jagex glorified him, then patched it
  7. Why? Because that's like being given $1500. (If he were to RWT it)

  9. I haven't been able to do more than 1 warband/day since this update, it keeps telling me I've already done 3, even though I've only done 1 each day.
  10. Lots of people; already paid 4 people 2.5m to bring me mining supplies
  11. http://services.runescape.com/m=rswiki/en/Heartbreak_pendant "The pendant gives 1.5x XP in a chosen skill up to 34,400 charges." or "This pendant can double XP in one of your least-liked skills." which is it Jagex?
  12. Why the [bleep] is this a thing to be glad about?
  13. Sadly Jagex has never been able to make any sort of long term plans, best example of this is the Biohazard quest line; been over a decade since it was started and only one new quest in the last 7 years, with absolutely zero signs of ever intending to be be finished. The Elemental Workshop series was supposed to be concluded in the first half of 2012 and have reached Elemental Workshop 7/8/9, and has obviously been forgotten.
  14. Honestly would not be surprised if they made an exception in the code for woox, since they already made an exception for bug abusing PoP for him.
  15. It doesn't; it never has because they aren't metal enough (which of course makes sense when arrows have a worse wood:metal ratio -.-) and it's easy enough to see when using them. Task with broad bolts you end up with like 5+ bolts piled up under each monster + equipped bolts go down 1 per shot. Task with Royals you end up with like 1 or 2 bolts under monster if any + equipped bolts go down 1 like every 3 or 4 shots. This is completely wrong, it has ALWAYS and STILL DOES work with broad bolts. Just tested it seconds ago to confirm.
  16. There are currently no secure versions of Java, both 6u38 and 7u11 are exploitable. It is best to disable java and only enable it on specific sites when you need to.
  17. I think he means that Nex compares to the KQ in that they were hard bosses that dropped gear that was more or less cosmetic because of how rare and valuable it was, while Barrows/KK drop gear that isn't as valuable in the long run, but is accessible enough that most of the community uses it for their day-to-day combat. I thought that but then I got confused by his release dates (I assume they are dates), since not one of them came out in 2012 or 2006. Sep 2004 - KQ May 2005 - Barrows Jan 2011 - Nex Jan 2013 - KK I assume what he really meant was: Nex is 2011's answer to 2004's KQ - Gear that only the elites can get due to quite hard boss ensuring high price tag Similarly KK is 2013's answer to 2005's Barrows - Gear that will be everyday use, but poses a reasonably challenge to get and hold a moderate price tag most can afford with a bit of saving. Did none of you have 3rd grade English classes? It is how you write an analogy _____ : _____ :: _____ : _____ is the same as _____ (is to) _____ (as) _____ (is to) _____
  18. The on-screen keyboard does jack squat to prevent keyloggers. A physical keyboard and the OSK raise the exact same key down/up/pressed events as one another.
  19. Wrong. Several Jagex Staff have already mentioned to other users doing this exact thing. Unfortunately, due to how the RSOF works, none of the reference QFCs can be found Forum posts don't magically overide the ToS: http://www.jagex.com/g=runescape/terms/terms.ws#intellectual_property
  20. This is entirely Jagex's fault. Server and bandwidth fees decrease every year, and the number of shards possible per server increases every year. One or two solid updates a month like was done years and years ago could easily maintain the game. IVP is greedy, plain and simple.
