You can just ignore the new region when you get to it, if you still need to train your crew or you need more stuff for upgrades...- The overnight phenomenon of "redesign!" to "give me master capes!"
I think Malevolent armor is some of the worst looking stuff. On female characters, especially. What we need is more functional armor. Not "lol, this armor has boobies and looks cool" stuff. Do you want easier "trade good" voyages, not caring about the type of trade goods? Dunno why you'd be going for something other than plate, bones, or spices. I have all three of my totems set to spices because i need them soupies. Uhm, why would you focus at all on trade goods in the loop? Also, spices???? REALLY?? They are the 3rd worst TG. Single stat missions are relatively easier than multi stat ones so you'd have better luck with whaler, convict and assassin. NEVER use t90 armors on slayer. Unless you are so rich that you don't care. Use it for bossing. If you are a bit weathy, you can use nex armor on slayer, or ports even Anyway, for spells, you only get the effect if you use the runes for the spell. In this update, they removed the restriction of melee distance on the dragon fire ability. mage is now more op- Dual Wield Magic Effects?
For ancients, you only get the heal with blood and freeze with ice if the SPELL hits, meaning, you cant dual cast blood barrage with abilities and heal. You have to use autoattacks- 04-Feb-2014 Treasure Hunter & Demon Drop Table Improvements

I'd say somewhere along the lines of 10 hours? Expect a LOT more if you are going to grind for lumberjack But as a basic tl;dr, let the NPCs attack and gain xp on their own. You'll need to use provoke quite a bit and heal them, but that is how you lvl them up- Future Update Discussions

Because it warps the incentives of the game. See also: prestige. Not like the prestige. Prestige, it was get 99 over and over. Capping skills at 120, or 200m xp, serves the purpose of 99, but more so.- Future Update Discussions
Before dungeons came out, people calculated that, with 200m xp, you'd be lvl 126 in a skill. 198m, actually, for lvl 126. DG messed that up making 120 at 104m xp. I think they should still have lvl 120... 13m-200m is nothing. Why not show it off? Why not make that xp matter?- Clan avatar

99 would have worked equally well for dungeons. 60 floors, 99 lvls, that is an average of 1 floor per 1.65 level. Some lvls would unlock no floors, some lvls would unlock 2 floors. I don't see what the big deal is. I think the problem is that they made the xp/hr far too fast at 90+ dungeons.. Or they expected people to do floors a lot slower. That said, am I the only one who thinks that comp capes are unfair? I understand they wanted to make something BiC, but as a piece of armor used for combat, it is horribly unbalanced. And no, unless they are going to calculate TOTAL LEVEL into combat, it is unbalanced because it acts as EVERY best cape slot item in the game. Mage cape crit, ava's crit and pickup.. Plus people who already had comp just needed to get 4 scrolls to have the reefwalker cape. Unfair for everyone without a comp. If you ask me, you should be able to merge capes AND rings together, based off of total level. If you are lvl 90 all stats, let you put two or three of my capes or rings together. A BiC item should be earned by obtaining each piece of it, and putting it together. Not by doing a lot of irreverent work and "poof" getting something that does everything. And I'm putting on my flame shield right now. :-) I failed to see how it is unfair. In order to own and use a comp cape you need to have access to all the items it gives the stats of. Every last teleport, stat and other function the cape offers is something you already have access too at that point and when they do add new stats there are matching requirements in order to reobtain it. You have to of beaten the mage arena and thus have the god cape, you have to have done the quests and thus have ava's device and the lava cape and the bonesack teleports, you have to of done all the tasks thus having the ardougne teleports and you have to of obtained the scrolls and have the stats to make superior reefwalker cape this having the stats. Comp Cape is in all but action doing exactly what you suggest - it is combining all the best capes you have obtained along the road to meeting all the requirements for it. You are incorrect about the most recent addition to the comp cape. The reefwalker cape, requires 4 scrolls to be "added" to the comp cape. But for those who do not have the comp cape, it requires 4 scrolls AND 100 koi to obtain one. I also fail to see how having 99 agility, mining, hunter, ect is necessary to put the functionality of those capes together. Just a personal irk - 7-Jan-2014 - Player-Owned Ports - The Next Journey
