One thing you need to know.. 2h weapons do 150% damage duel weilded weapons of the same type do 150% damage Using a 1 handed weapon with a shield (or no weapon) will only do 100% damage Only using an off hand weapon will do 50% damage So if you are killing anything with a 1h weap and shield, you would be better off using a 2h weapon or an off hand equivalent, so that you do 50% more damage

I was refering to getting a single main hand claw... even when they are dropped you get a main and off hand. I can't even slice n dice :(

So you need at least 20 invention PLUS 70 on the relevant skill to get shards, to make the outfit... So getting the ethereal set requires 70 rc + 20 smith, craft, and divination....

What's that one? Also... Honestly. Not even an off hand to go with it

She kicks you out if you aren't in combat with her. Take a range or magic weapon and keep using abilities as you run around and light fires

I too hadn't heard of that.. And I don't think I have ever attended a tipit event. Though I remember that there was a faux event where someone had everyone attack them in the wildy to see if they fixed the bug that made you skull in multi from auto retaliate... that was in 2005 methinks.

The sets took somewhere like 200 hours to get from thaler. It'd be nice if they were more common :p

One thing you need to realize, especially from coming back from pre-eoc, is that the WEAPON is the most important thing you can upgrade. Tank and hybrid armor helps you kill things faster just as much as no armor. No damage boost. Power armor is worth 10% equal to the same tier of the weapon. So, bandos helm/gloves/boots/body/legs are equal to 10% the damage of a T70 2h weapon Full pernix is equal to 10% the damage of a T80 2h, and sirenic is 10% the damage of a T90 2h Obviously, you wouldn't want to buy 10% of a weapon before you can afford the whole thing. So, ALWAYS buy a better weapon before you can buy new armor, else you are paying far more for a tiny boost. The non-degradable things (gwd1 armor, anima core) is good enough for slayer

I read this the other day, but don't really feel like re-reading it.. :o For melee If you are strapped for cash, twin fury blades are indeed the best. Dirt cheap. The next best things are the dragon rider lance, and then nox scythe. If you are doing slayer and want to do if more efficiently, you want to use melee AOE, IE a halbred. Don't go for anything less then an attuned crystal halbred, or lance or scythe for this. Melee armor, bandos<torva/zaros anima core<malevolent For range, royal bow is best for low money. You only need to get to the last phase of QBD.Next best thing would be shadow glaives (20m), then ascensions (100m) and nox (150m). If you can't kill QBD, attuned crystal can be a substitute. Range armor, armadyl<pernix/zammy anima<sirenic Mage, attuned crystal wand/orb/staff or chaotic staff are all T80, but dont use attuned crystal for this. Cwyr wand + virtus book is very good, or even just virtus wand and book... so basically virtus wand+book OR chaotic staff OR attuned crystal staff < cwyr wand+virtus book < staff of darkness (50m)<nox staff or seismic wand/orb Armor, subj<virtus/seren anima core<tectonic

Meh. I could care less for EOC pvp... I like legacy DPS... it is a bit more slower pased that I can keep track of.

As special attack weaps, claws are fairly good. Even AGS is pretty good with the ability to hit 8ks. I'm hoping that the stuff that makes ancient warrior stuff is tradable, and allows you to augment them..
