I'm trying this right now and i'm wondering about what stats do i need to really not have to worry about getting killed.

It is still profit, just not the maximum profit he could be earning. If you look at it that way, anything other than double crafting nats is false profit, because you could make better sure money doing so. His wording wasn't perfect but his point was still valid. The fact that you could skip parts of the process and in doing so make more money means that it isn't a great idea for making money.

ok so what are all the quests and requirements i'm going to have then? i haven't done legends or heroes but i have done champions.

how much defence xp would i get in total? i'm not a 1 defence pure

Hmm how can i start legends quest without defence levels when you need to do heroes quest to start it, and that gives defence xp?

does starting legends require me to finish heros? and if so does that mess with def and/or pray levels?

Can i do enough of the Sir amak vase subquest to get access to the evil chicken's lair without gaining any prayer and/or defence assuming i already have 40 defence and 1 prayer? Not completing the quest, just enough to kill the black dragons?

nat running is faster than merchanting with only 600k, and if you really want it then you gotta do boring stuff to get it fast

Wrong, it is affected, but not as much as other spells

A couple points that i use to squeeze out the most efficient route: 1 use dark gloves, they own mystic for mage bonus and add range + melee stats for other dudes 2. a little used piece of equipment, excalibur, i use the spec right before i go into torags crypt, it really helps your defence. 3. zammy pray book if you can afford it, completely up to you but i find it usualy helps a lot 4. use a safespot for verac and u wont need ne pray pots :)
