how many herbs do you get when you plant seeds?
ShadowSam19 replied to tuhdude's topic in Help and Advice
it is random, anywhere from 3 to 15. Supercompost and magic secateurs both help with crop yeild, though. -
Can you get more than one rune defender?
ShadowSam19 replied to DarkSoljah's topic in Help and Advice
I showed her the rune on I got, then used the rest of my tokens, which got me another one. You're probably just getting unlucky. -
You can build a "cave entrance" (or something like that) as your garden centerpiece (where the pond usually goes). This, I believe, leads into your dungeon.

How many steel bars or plate can be sold for a million?
ShadowSam19 replied to joecool280's topic in Help and Advice
Hi alch would be you best bet, but since you can't...You probably wont be able to sell to players for more than 900 ea, simply because of the cost of nats. What I did, if i didn't hi alch them, was sell the plates to the armoury in varrock. The default sell price is 1200, and after 5-15 (I really don't remember) it drops below 1000, at which point I switch worlds and do it again. This is more time consuming, but is the best porfit if you don't hi alch. -
Newbie or not Newbie? That is the Question...
ShadowSam19 replied to Ryenkishu's topic in General Discussion
noob and newb have evolved into completley different things. Though newb/newbie still means a new player, noob has turned into a common insult, flung around so much that, imo, it has lost all its sting. I usually chuckle to myself when I see someone spouting "noob" left and right, since they are simply showing their ignorance, lack creativity, and immaturity. -
I suppose my name isn't "original", but is was my first choice, so I'm happy with it since it has meaning to me. My ideal name, however, would be just plain "Sam", but, ofcourse, names like that are always difficult to get (Though I actually have managed to get it in a few popular online games). I don't think you can get that name in runescape, since there is an npc named Sam...but I dunno.

I haven't done meII, but I have recently completed desert treasure, so I can help you there. First off, it would be better to use protect from melee pray, and wear dhides to protect from the mage att. Secondly, it would be more effective to use a higher spell, such as wave or blast, but that is really up to you. Make sure you remember to bring stat restore potions, aswell as prayer potions. Eat/drink potions when you are frozen, since you can't do anything else.

They aren't actual "rings" in the sense that you put them on your finger. They are ring shaped mushroom pacthes on the ground, which you can use to teleport if you are wielding a dramen staff. So yes, they do last forever.

it would help if you posted your stats. In general, you can join members at any lvl, and have a good time. The higher your stats, however, the more you can do, and the more fun you can have. But also remember that training is easier in members, so you many not want to waste time training your stats in f2p so they can be better in members.

Just create a progression. Start with something, like potatoes, and grow as many as you can, banking every bag. Once you have used all your seeds, move on to the next one up, using the potatoes as payment, and bank of ll teh next crop. Continuing doing this all the way through. Also, if you use super compost and magic secateurs, it will increase you yields, so you have more stuff to pay farmers with. All you really have to do is make sure you bank everything, and it should be ok.

Al kharid mine. There are 3 iron ores reachable from 1 spot. You can 40k an hour there, and it is how I got 85 mining. Like they said, if you can get people to take your ore, it will save the time it takes you to drop them, and make the xp come faster.
-
I disagree with that statement. Though I haven't really been observant enough while mining coal to be able to argue with what you're saying pertaining to coal, I have mined ALOT of silver ore in the crafting guild, and in there, lvl DOES matter. I was mid 70s mining lvl when I started mining 12k silver ore for my 70 crafting, and can assure that I would get 6/7 ores if the miner was below me, half as much when they were even, and 1/7 if they were higher. As my lvl increased to the upper 70s, I rarely lost more than 1 silver ore spawn per rotation, simply because my mining lvl was higher then all the other silver miners. Once again, I have little experience with coal, so there may be a difference between coal and silver, I'm not sure. (btw, my mining is 85)

wtf is (g)!!!!!!!!???????????!!!!!!!!!!!
ShadowSam19 replied to mark63534's topic in Help and Advice
(g) is an armor with gold trim. There is black(g) through rune(g), just like (t). There is no such thing as an armor with (d). Full dharock is a set of barrows armor. When you have the full set, it can perform a random special effect, like all barrows armor sets. The Dharock set effect is that as your hp decreases, your max his increases. This has created a style of fighting known as "Dharocking" which involves purposely lowering your hp, the possibly turing on prayer for protection, in order to maximize your hits. Through this method, there have been max hits near the hundred mark! -
you have to go the monks place south of ardy, where you will have to kill a monk to get the key to open the chest
-
it isn't actually in the grass, it is sorta to the side of it. Though the guide says "search", you don't actually use a search option, but instead look at each grass clump, and on the side of one of the pacthes there will be a roundish, purple thistle sticking up, which you can pick.

I have caesar III, and love it! Even now, if my internet is down and I'm bored, it is one of teh first games I pop in. When I was younger I didn't entirely understand it, and usually lost all my money in the 2nd or 3rd, which led to an angry caesar sending his troops after me  . This kept me away from the game for a while, but once I was older, and read the manual and understood all teh conepts, I was absolutely obsessed. I also love playing with the cheat codes from it. Use the infinte money cheat to build the army to the max, then baricade your city with row upon row of walls, gates, and those shooty thingys. After that, you can either try and go against the roman empire by making caesar mad, or use a different cheat to send in literally thousands of barbarians! All in all, it was a great game, with a nice balance of fun and realism. I will surely buy this next game, and eagerly await what new fun it has instore.

Time limit on how much you play Runescap
ShadowSam19 replied to hellbellz's topic in RuneScape Suggestions
Jagex *could* add this, but do you really think it would be a good decision from a buisness standpoint for them? Which means tehy prob will never add it. Thus, it is up to him to practice some self-control, or, if he has lost that ability when it comes to runescape, then it is up to you, and the rest of his friends. -
I always use v bright, simply because it made it alot easier to see which ores were spawned in the mining guild back when I was mining coal. I got so used to it, everything seems dark and gloomy if I put it on anything less bright.

I believe there is a ghost sailor with a row boat who can take you there. He is loscated in the ghost town (port phaswhatever) to the far west, and I think he charges ectotokens for the voyage.
-
it is part of the family crest quest. If you read the tip.it quest guide, it tells you the required combination of levers. I'm not sure if you must have started the quest to access that area or not, but I know you don't have to have finished the quest.

fire giants have awesome drops, along with big bones...I'm not sure if your combat lvl is high enough to train on them effectively, though.

So what "full access" do free players get to any skill? Thus, you're right when you say that, "If it was a trial version, then we would have limited access to all skills...". But you're wrong when you say free players have full access to any skill whatsoever. Anyways, f2p is a trial version of the game. If it was the full game, with the member's as the "expansion", you wouldn't get messages saying "you need to be on a member's server..." etc. Wrong, wrong, wrong and wrong. First of all, f2pers have full access to all combat items. Before you go spouting out all the things members have and f2pers don't, think back to when rs first had the f2p/p2p options. There was no dragon, no whips and other such things. They were added AFTER the original p2p came out. Therefore they are all things added to the EXPANSION PACK that is p2p. Technically speaking, as far as full access goes, you can have 1 of 2 views on the subject: 1)Full access means everything that came out when the game was created, which f2pers have. 2)Full access means access to everything currently in the game, which any game with an expansion pack DOESN'T have. I used to play diablo2, and when it came out, the expansion. The expansion had new classes, new monsters and new items, but that didn't make the original game any less of a full game... Also, at the end of d2, you got a video pretty much guaranteeing an expansion pack, which could easily be compared to all the "you must be on a members server to do that" A trial of a game is when you take a full game, and remove most of it, or set a time limit on how long a person can play. An expansion pack is when you take an existing game, and add extra features for those willing to pay for it. Which of these sounds more like rs, which was once f2p ONLY, and merely had new things added on to get people to pay. You are so wrong it's actually quite funny. First off, you say f2p have full access to all combat items... ever heard of dragon items? Yeah, you really made a valid point there. Secondly, what you said that I have now underlined, is true and is shown in RuneScape. When you're F2P you can still see all the p2p skills in your skills page, can you not? And all the p2p spells? And prayers? And the players themselves? That's because it's NOT the full game, many parts are missing. Hence it is a trial version, as such.[/b] Actually, Zub covered both of those topics in his post. First, you talk about dragon items, which, as zub said, came out after p2p was created, which means f2p lost nothing, but instead p2p simply gained more...expanded upon, you could even say :-k . As for your second point, how can a full game keep getting fuller? It can't, unless you keep expanding upon it (gee, theres that idea again). F2p is a fully living and breathing world,a complete game in itself, that can intereact with those users who have chosen to enrich their gaming experience.
