ugh, don't mention that site. My class was obsessed with that site a few years back...and wouldn't stop imitating it! Granted, when my friends finally presuaded me to visit the site, some of it was funny, but the annoyingness far outwieghed the entertainment.

In my freshmem year, the seniors put every single chair in the school (i have a small school, so it couldn't have been too difficult) on the roof. Unfortunetly, by the time most of the students arrived for school, the chairs had been taken down for the most part by the janitors.

Alot of people use the strategy of bringing along a fire staff and nats to the mining guild, then superheating to make mithril bars. Its an efficent way to get mith bars, which you can then sell for decent money.

My school is called St. George's...and despite what most people assume when they hear the name, it is not a catholic school. I'll give you guess as to what the mascot is  . As for the poster above me, I'm sure if you calm down and ask nicely, he will be happy to remove your name, or even the entire quote, from his sig. I actually have seen the post it is taken from, and totally undertsnad what you were refering to  .

I don't really know...but if you go to a general store where teh stock of each is zero, you can compare the two. Which ever one is higher there will also be higher when hi alching.

Many forums don't count towards your post count, such as the market forums, so it depends on where you post. In addition, I believe they recently deleted alot of really old posts, which lowered everyones post count. Remember, though, that it's not the post count that matters, but instead the post content.

I personaly use the west varrock mines. There are 2 iron ore right next to eachother, so you can fill up plenty fast on a full world. It can be crowded, so make sure you can get the rocks before others. As for the bank, it is only three clicks away.

You are correct. All god armors, including Guthix, are no better than rune stat or special ability wise.
-
I've read that book too. I was skeptical about it before I started, because of it's name and plot, but as they say "You can't judge a book by it's cover", and it turned out to be a decent read.

If you want geeky, then you should meet the author of that book. He came to my school a year or so ago, and walked on the stage wearing authentic renaissence period clothing, or something. He was also signing his book, and I kick my self now for not buying one then, because some of my friends sold the signed first copy for up to $700 on Ebay! Anyway, Eragon and its sequel were great books, and I eagerly await the third one. As for other books, i have read alot of those mentioned here, including 1984, Brave New World, The Catcher in the Rye, and others. I have no idea what my favorite book is, though I used to love the Redwall books. I also like the Dark Materials trilogy, Harry Potter, and found Da Vinci's Code to be a great read. In the future, I'm going to read All is Quiet on the Western Front (mentioned somewhere here), One Flew over the Cuckoos Nest, and Angels & Demons. Everyone seems to have loved that one book, so I may have to look into that.

If you guys would like to see a forum with an active, and working, "honor" system, you could look at habboxforum.com. They use a system called "reputation" (or rep points). They have all the bumps flattened out, so problems like what cotamatias came up with don't happen. To see their rules for this system, simply go to the FAQ. I personaly think this would be a addition. FYI, the site is a fansite forum much like Tip.it, except it is for HabboHotel (though is does include a runescape subforum).

Deadly red spiders, found in karajama and varrock sewers, are good exp, but lack drops. Hill giants are good, but can be really crowded. The ice caves are good exp aswell, but you may have teh same problem as you had at the lessers.

You could do rune sets, buy for 180k or so, then sell for 200k+

that'll be sweet as long as it doesn't break :P? Don't worry, its a sturdy bat, when i say "bends" it is more of how it feels then it actually bending.
-
Im not sure if it is a two piece bat, though I think it is. A teammate of mine has an old one, and its a pretty decent bat. You can feel it bend when you hit the ball (thanks to the carbon fiber), which some people love and others hate.

Free members..... really or yet another hoax?

I beg to differ. There is a site sponsored by Amazon.com that, by completing simple tasks, gives you free money. Your not required to give referals, or anything like teh typical free money/item scams. It used to be alot better for making money (a classmate of mine made several hundreds of dollars in a few months), but, due to people creating "autoers" they changed it. You can still make good money, however, as a friend of mine funded the purchase of an UnderArmor shirt with this site, and i have made $20. The aim of this site is basically to improve AI through humans doing basic tasks called HIT's (Human Intelligence Task). By accomplishing these tasks you earn anywhere from 1 cent (the most common, but also the easiest) to $50 (an amount you can win by submitting very thorough HITs). You can choose to have this money funneled into your bank account, or turned into Amazon.com credit (which I find easier). Like I said, this site isn't super great at the moment, but it has its moments when really profitable HITs are offered, plus, there are no strings attached whatsoever . The website is mturk.com (stands for mechanical turk, don't ask what the turk stands for, but you can read about it at the site). Don't expect to make hundreds off this, but if you do it persistently for a few months, it really adds up. -
They are trying to scam you. After seeing people offering millions for it, the victim then spends alot of gp on a worthless item. In reality, bad wine is a failed attempt at making wine. It is no more valuable then a burnt fish.

Firstly, this idea hasn't been "robbed" from anywhere. It has been suggested countless times before this post and before the places you mentioned. Secondly, I personally believe it would be a great idea. Not only would you be able to sell stuff without typing it countless times, but people could see your selling something while your just walking around. As for the other ideas you had, I think someone being able to see another stats in game would be great, since people wouldn't always have to ask your mining, str etc. lvl while you train.

Random events: harder for older accounts to get them???
ShadowSam19 replied to Kalliel's topic in General Discussion
I think some accounts are just lucky...or unlucky. My (only) account is pretty old (rsc and older), and i have gotten a couple mazes (3 I believe), and 1 mime (a couple weeks ago). Other than those I haven't gotten any other uncommon random events. -

Gonzaga is going all the way. They were a bit shaky the first round, but today they easily blew past indianna, and their best player, Adam Morrison (lead scorer of the ncaa and soon to be player of year), only scored 14, half of his average. The Zags have depth, scoring, and defense. Easy Champions.

My Cruise! Check out the new pictures on page 2!!!
ShadowSam19 replied to MyPurpleCrayon's topic in Off-Topic
I aslo went on a cruise, though it was last summer. It was my first cruise and was absolutley phenomonal. Judging from the ice scuplure, im assuming it was the same cruise line, since on my cruise there were many fntastical ice sculpures at the midnight buffet. My cruise was in the caribbean aswell, i went to barbados, St. Lucia, and some others. I went in one great rainforest, I dont know where, that was absolulety awesome. I also swam with some turtles, kayaked, and did some scuba diving. But by far the greatest part was the food. First off there was free soft serve available almost 24/7, then there was the buffet that was open 10 hours a day, and a huge 3 tiered dining room, where you could get the best food. I would recomend a cruise to anyone, since theres something for everyone...and food. -
No. ot: umm... Patience is virtue...and...be quick but don't hurry...and umm, have the mindset that everyone else is out to get you, so you wont get burned by them, and the nice people will seem all the more good
