  1. Proving you are able to keep your child safe and as healthy as you are able to (health problems aside) then I believe one of the importants to parenting is making sure the child is brought up with a good grasp of the concept of manners. It is not hard from a young age to teach a child to say please or thank you if they want something, it is shocking the amount of kids you see (or the amount of kids around where I am) that wont even use please or thank you. I dont think having a stay at home parent is 100% necessary, in my eyes that could cause the child to be too clingy with one or both parent. I plan on going back to work, Freya will be almost one when I return and the childcare will be shared between me on my days off, my mum, her father on his fays off and if needed my friends aunt who is a registered child minder. I kind of feel that if the child is constantly with one parent then it will make the transition of being at home and going to nursery/ school that little bit harder on the child.

    Today...

I went out last night and the cocktails seriously found me  I remember the three jugs I had to myself in spoons.... and the 4 pot-tails (cocktails served in a teapot  ) I had in the club... not sure about the rest of the night, BUUUTTT with having not drunk anything since September, it all hit me more than it usually would have lol. Ross had Freya last night, I thought he had her until this afternoon, I forgot he had work so he brought her back at 9:30am, I didn't get in until 4:30am so I am feeling pretty tired and rough as f*ck right now. Freya has been screaming all morning also (she has just gone to sleep finally) so that hasn't helped lol. Totally all self inflicted... but it was well worth it to get out and have some good times with adults.

    Today...

I am planning on getting it soon, just have no interest or funding to learn to drive... but my passport is like 10 years out of date so I need some form of I.D when I go out drinking, and provisional is cheaper than passport. My day has been spent not doing a lot. I went to the bank to sort out my accounts and refinance my loan, got myself £450 back, paid off my student overdraft and reduced my payments. The £450 has been spent already on a new pushchair for Freya :-/

    Today...

I think im supposed to be going to Wales and Scotland at some point this summer, im not 100% sure I will make it to Scotland with the little one (13 hours in a car with a newborn doesn't strike me as something I want to tackle) but Wales is a definite. My day? Didn't get much sleep last night, Freya went off with her father and pappy for a few hours so I got some time to be Liz and not mummy for a few hours, went shopping spent a fortune on clothes - shouldn't have spent that much but all my trousers were 2 sizes too big, baggy as hell and kept falling down, so I got new jeans and a bunch of new tops. Went with a friend to grab a cup of tea - in a church which was odd as im not religious - was a nice church though. Since Freya has been home I have been tidying, doing laundry, having a nap, watching telly and doing some cross stitch.

    Today...

This morning I had the dentist  My old dentist butchered one of my bottom right molars, put in a temporary root filling instead of a permanent one because I was pregnant (ignoring the fact I asked for the expensive white filling that I was allowed to have) to look at the tooth it has no top and part of the side is missing from where he drilled, so its basically a shell with a filling in the middle. My bottom left wisdom tooth started growing some more last week and got super tender so I had to chew on the right side, which has now screwed with the butchered tooth. tomorrow they are going to take the temporary filling out to see what is going on inside the tooth, put antibiotics in there and put another temporary filling in and then I have to go back next week to see what they are going to do.... I bloody hate the dentist and never really had a problem with my teeth (other than my wisdom teeth) until I started going to my old dentist.... stupid jackass! I have a lovely swollen jaw/face right now and a lovely headache and earache to boot.... such fun! They wanted to remove the filling today which would help with the pain, but they wanted me back at 3pm and I have noone to look after the baby so I gotta suffer another night - ghey :-( I am kinda rooting for them to take the damn thing out! Thats my day
  7. Sam looks scarily like my friend Ben :-( that makes me sad - I miss that dude!

    Today...

Today has mostly just been cleaning and sleeping. My wisdom tooth has either started to grow again or the gum around it has become infected so that is painful as hell and the teeth around it hurt a little also. Using strong mouthwash to help it which burns my mouth to frack, but it helps, chewing on my toothbrush seems to ease the pain a little though lol. Probably Dentist on monday if it doesn't sort itself out :-(

    Today...

im not asking for sympathy thank you very much. Why would I want sympathy for having a great little girl? Her father may be a douche, but im not asking anyone here for any sympathy. what has happened has happened, and I have a great little girl... whatever he decides to do is his gain or his loss. And looking at my thread about him... you mean the one i posted back in like september? oh noes!

    Today...

I just checked y weight, and it appears since I had the baby 2 weeks ago I have managed to drop 9kg, so just another like 30kg to be in the advised weight. I am fat, but pfft, I lost 9kg (I put on 2lb over whole pregnancy), that's some achievement lol. I cant even hit the gym for ages due to c-section and stitches and what not, so this will take forever, but its a start. This plus last post is the excitement of my day. I am hoping that Freya doesn't play up tonight and settles after her feeds because I seriously could do with some sleep.

    Today...

Today has been a little more eventful than most days have been. Had the health visitor come for Freya's check-up, and ended up taking her to the doctors as she thought that Freya has oral thrush..... gotta wait until monday or Tuesday to find out the results of the swab, hopefully we can find out what is making her so unhappy poor little thing. Other than trip to the doctors and the health visitor being here, my day has been napping, feeding Freya, changing her and playing peel a meal on facebook. My life is so exciting :shades:

    Bathing

Jaffy, depending on your hair type, washing it every day can make it worse. I have quite dry and frizzy hair and washing it every day makes it worse no matter what shampoo i use.

    Bathing

I try to bath every day, unless the baby is being super cranky and crying all the time, then I end up skipping a day. I bath most days, but wash my hair every 2-3 days as its not good for your hair to shampoo every day. I suppose its up to the kid if he washes or not, but if its during the summer then he is going to smell proper rank! Your hair will slowly cleanse itself but the rest of the body will smell and just be gross :-/

    Today...

So far today has been a pretty good day, my little munchkin has finally settles and has not screamed the house down at all, and she actually slept last night other then the two feeds so I FINALLY got some sleep. just waiting on her father to come and see her and totally need to take some pain killers as my incision is bloody well killing me today, so a day on the sofa lifting nothing but the baby and hopefully my belly will stop hurting :-)
  22. varies on the type of stress I am under. things like exams, or having loaaaads of work to do at work, I tend to just go really quiet, shut people out and get on with things. If I am stressed with people and they have seriously SERIOUSLY annoyed me, I tend to cry, I hate that I do that, but its that or flip out on someone, and crying alone in the warehouse does not get me a discipline lol.
  23. I have not showered today, or eaten since yesterday afternoon, I got no sleep last night and the quality of the picture is how I am feeling right about now
  24. Henry has always been a stubborn one! He is in the new series so he is okay now :-)
  25. CHOOO CHOOO!!! Room for two more? (I am actually watching Thomas the tank engine as I type this because im so damn cool!!!)
