yes, but if you have 2 rares and one is better than the other...one is going to drop in price and the other is going to go up.

Theory: New Tradable Rares wouldn't be worth it
n64jive replied to darkblade986's topic in General Discussion
You forget that just because the game is huge doesn't mean that "everyone is going to have one". People quit all the time...taking their rares outa the market(or get banned)... new people come in all the time. Let's say that 2 million people get this rare. My estimates would be that over half the people would sell them to a stockpiler for 100k or so when they get around that price. let say their are 10,000 people stock piling. Each one has a stock of around 100... that's 1,000,000 That's half the rares. Now Some people get banned or quit. More rares either are or seem to be outa the market just because they arnt traded. More new people come in without the rares...a year or two down the road a stock piler notices an increase for this rare, and talks with some other stock pilers about jacking up the price. Before you know it these new rares are 1-10m in a years time, and that number will go up exponetialy. -
I think the best route is: 3-4 all in guthans, all with slayer dart and crystal bow and dds... You run in and someone lures rex to the safespot. the other's dds special supreme with protect from mage on, and then run over to the spot that you range prime from. when both prime and supreme are dead, everyone goes to the rex safespot and mages him...soon as he is dead supreme should be about ready to respawn. killing 3 of the dag kings is far better than killing 1, and bring an extra person is easily paid for.

This game has so many ways of making money..some better, some worse..but all are not that difficult to do. Craft nats is prolly around the best...all you risk is prolly about 50k per trip if you wear a glory...less than that if you bring tele tabs. Green drags-- great money Dust devil's--some good cash involved, not to mention chance of becomg very rich even pest control isnt bad money plus easy training. and their are hundreds of other ways.

damis (desert treasure) - why is he overrated?
n64jive replied to mrmyk's topic in General Discussion
yeah... I melee'd all of them, melee being mainly what i bring to quests... Damis was hardest with melee(he hits like 4 hits per second)... The blood dude was next in line then prolly ice then prolly smoke last two are interchangeable. -
GI Joe scissors man. And i have no idea what format you saved this as...because it is super messed up...none of the colors are right, and its all messed up. I suggest using png or jpg for images.

i used to always break 100, few days ago i got 90 some...my max ever was like 160...but now it seems that number is no longer realistic
-
most people play runescape to play runescape...if you wanna play checkers or connect four...most people use a different service...runescapes isn't the best service for these 2 games.

People with high total levels compared to combat
n64jive replied to Madouge's topic in General Discussion
subtract your attack, strength, defence, hitpoints, mage, range, and prayer from your skill total. see my point? -
depends what if you can afford to pay for it...really its $5 a month..not very much... i'd say if you have no problem with paying for it...get it..because it makes the game a heck of a lot more fun and easier.
-
Yeah that requires like four 70 stats. if your not lvl 70 in every combat stat thats not prayer, u dont deserve 1 anyway. I have 65 str :boohoo: It requires 70 att, mage and range as far as I know. congrats? seriously tho whats up with the smileys in peoples posts? their the stupidest things ive seen. especially the :boohoo: -.- and people use the violin wrong most of the time... I didn't know you could use an emoticon wrong :S... anyway, as for these lizards...they are high level equipment for the low levels. Just another way for jagex to make you think that hunter is useful.

"er" refers more the the person and "ing" refers to more the act. Being that all these are skills, i beleive they should all be "ing". Attack--Not a verb Defence--Same as Attack Strength--Not a verb Hitpoints--Not a verb Range--Not a verb Prayer--Not a Verb Magic--Not a Verb Cooking--Sounds the best as "ing" Woodcut--Could go either way, but sounds best as woodcut Fletching--Sounds the best with "ing" Fishing--Sounds the best with "ing" Firemaking--Sounds best with "ing" Crafting--Sounds best with "ing" Smithing--Sounds best with "ing" Mining--Sounds best with "ing" Herblore--Not a verb Agility--Not a verb Thieving--Sounds best with "ing" Slayer--One of the few that sound better with "er" Farming--Sounds better with "ing" Runecrafting--Sounds Better with "ing" Hunter--Sounds better with "ing" Construction--Not a verb

ever heard of survival of the fittest?
-
...another lame skill...nothing worth it.
-
The runes would prolly cover cost...considering if you use slayer dart, its ussually payed for plus other cost. But i spose there is a chance that you could lose money...very unlikely though.
-
People taking hunter a little too seriously?
n64jive replied to jjrox32's topic in General Discussion
hunting is the next farming...everyone is going to be paying massive prices for new gear for a week or so(prolly as long as you can't get levels with tears of guthix), and then its going to be next to worthless. -
20 November 2006 - Game-world locations renamed
n64jive replied to Idarodo's topic in General Discussion
The numbers don't mean much of anything except. Lets say you try US West 1...it doesnt work very good for you...so instead you should try US West 2....if that doesn't work any better...try US West 3...If that one also doesn't work...try a different US server... It really doesn't make a difference, they just renamed it so it wasn't very misleading. -
Nope, he means the built in function in windows (dont know about mac/unix) wich lets you control the pointer with the numeric keypad. thats what I meant by hotkeys. those things in the control panel. I thought those were considered to be a form of autoing? Since your mouse doesnt move. the thing is, you have to be at your computer to use the keypad, so in no way is it against jagex rules. The only real use is in alching, and thats because you can sit their and get into a rythm of clicking without worrying about your mousing moving like someone else has said, you accidently hit the minus key, to change it hit the / key. To turn off mousekeys, hit left shift+alt+num lock
