Don't forget the chance that they are pure skillers...sure the chance is small. Also, while fishing, I often surf forums...so if someones start talking, theirs a chance I dont even notice.... Also, sometimes I'll stick something in my spacebar, that way instead of logging out after 2 minutes of inactivity, its more like 5 minutes of inactivity...That way I can kick back and watch tv, while only having to look over at the screen for random events.

you also have to wonder tho, does different times at which you woodcut effect the times? In other words, for a more accurate study, you'd have to cut with a rune ax for 1 load, then next load cut with a dragon ax...maybe that's what you're doing...i dunno.

I am far more advanced with my computer then my parents are, and yes, I know we have DSL..(pretty sure if it was dial-up, i'd know)... It might be the router, but I run my xbox 360 through it, and it seems to run fine, although the games do act up... I know their is different things you can enable and disable to make your internet have less hassle, ussually leading to faster connection, and I know their are tutorials...but i was wondering if any Tech-heads had any quick advice.

I beleive Jagex really doesn't care too much about runescape economy... Fastest way for autoers to make money was Ess mining...Jagex took that fastest way, made it a lil harder, and then did one important thing: Anyone who wants to be an ess mining autoer, now has to pay jagex $5 a month...meaning Jagex makes money from the autoers...This was Jagex's true motive for making Pure ess. This was more then a year ago tho, so I say quit crying over spilt milk, and just forget about it.

My internet isn't by any means slow, but it seems like it should be faster. I'm connected using a DSL modem, but I was wondering if anyone had a website, or any tips for speeding up my web browsing....I use firefox.

if it doesnt make it passed the first test(ip test) ussually means your not connected to the internet... I have a problem with my halo 2 (only game it does this on) where the only way i can actually do matchmaking is if i sign-on to xbox live, try to start a game...soon as the game tries to configure and fail, go back sign out, and then sign back in...then it all works fine...it's kind of a hassle, and i wonder what the problem is?

Install what properly? How do you think hundreds, if not thousands, of devices manage to work with hundreds of different routers/access points without installing any router-specific software? Routers run their own firmware. It should not need anything to be installed. If his router came with an install cd, it must need to install something...except i don't understand what either... Unless it uses a wireless card(most computer's now a days are built in)...and it needs to install something for that?

Well, my sister bought some extra ram, cuz she needed..and she'd could only buy it by the couple(dunno if they are different types)... So i was wondering if it would be possible for me to put the other chip into my computer so I could have dual-ddr ram?

From all the reading, people seem to think about afking...I dont afk, I get indulged(sp) into a good topic(like this one), and i forget about the rs screen, and next thing i know...i'm logged out(and it can't be too terribly long that i'm not at the rs screen)

um, well in in april it will be 5 years exactly...Not many people stay around to play that long...in fact, all my friends i met before i was level 35 have now quit....(level 35 took months to do back then.

Um, well not technically a skill, but i started in 2002, and i think herblore, theiving, fletching, and agility(agility is iffy, it may be my first)... but next thing after that was fatigue...which is no longer a part of runescape(unless you count run-energy)... so it's either fatigue or agility.

Jagex is most likely making more then 10M just from the subscribers... Throw in advertising, subtract expenese... In the end, jagex is making more then $39 million a year.
