  1. I myself switched over... I owned a ps2, great console...it was fun, but i had no online interaction(my choice)... I always was a fan of halo and halo 2...but i didn't like it simply for the fact that playing againsts your friends is lame after a while. One of my friends bought an xbox 360, and i was over at his house, and we stayed up all night playing halo 2 over xbox live...it was the funnest time i had had in a while.(This is actually very rare occassion, as me and him are 17 and 19 and both would rather spend a weekend night partying then playing video games. We still managed to have a good time) anyway, I sold my ps2, bought a 360, and now me and him play halo 2 together all the time. Now i have never played a ps3, but I havn't seen any games out for it that arrouse my interest. For this reason, I would have to say xbox 360, hands down.
  2. correct me if i'm wrong, but whenever someone visits a website, it's stealing bandwidth from them. This is from spy-ware does, is it steals your bandwidth, making your internet connection slower. It is not in a sense stealing any money, but they are probably paying more money for more bandwidth...Here is what jagex needs to do...make there own worldswitcher, complete with there own adds, own tools...everything, Why doesn't jagex make a client that does more then just open runescape up in a browser with no browsing ability? As for dynamic sigs, all jagex would need to do is create a feed. They're not going to do that tho, because there to proud and stubborn to help out their fansites, and would rather make it more difficult. They choose to get rid of the problem by rather then compromise, just doing away with the dilema completely. Jagex, fun nazi's of runescape.
  3. off topic, but this is my favorite one: Dear the Voice that tells adventures what to do. Why do you stop us from doing the things we want to? After rum deal, i try to fish more slugling, but a voice says 'you don't need anymore of these' that may be true, but i want to fish them! Also on the port sarim jail, i am talking to the gaurd on the roof, making him think he's crazy, when a voice (you) says 'maybe you should leave him alone now' Now, i have nothing against these actions really, but i why? why do you look out for us adventures and tell us what to do? who are you? how do you talk to us? From, A puzzled adventurer You feel greeted by a voice in your head, You are sure that this voice is useful, that it is keeping you safe from danger. You are aware that the sluglings of Braindeath Island are of no use after the quest, so you wonder why you even bothered to ask. You begin to wonder why you even wrote this letter as you realise how useful the voice is. You feel comforted by the voice's quality of speech and excellent accent; it sounds well educated and charming. More than ever, you are certain that this voice is some gift from the gods - granted to man at the dawn of time. Then again, you have been wrong about things before. You now feel confused. You wave goodbye to the mysterious voice.
  4. it's still in the beta stage...so i beleive anything done doesn't actually effect your character
  5. Woot! Jagex spent a ton of time updating the sound...something most of us could care less about!@

  7. Hmm, I just thought of another idea. Ancient magicks is a common type of magic used to barrows, mainly ice spells. Ice blitz and Ice Barrage both use blood runes. If the supply to blood runes rises, and blood prices fall, many will take advanted, stock up on bloods. If blood runes fail to go back up in price...these people will either settle for selling at current price, or go off and do some barrows with their newly crafted bloods. This in-turn will drive down prices of the following items:prayer potions(less demand), other runes, and more importantly, barrows armour. IF bloods are released, this could be huge.
  8. Wow...that is terribly biased... In my opinion...Attack and Strength are pretty equal and also vary inversly with eachother. Using a law that I kinda created: (A,)+(S,)=(A,,)+(S,,) when Both sides of equation equal same X In this theory of mine, the disadvantages of having one higher and one lower equal eachother out...In other words, someone with 40, 90 is about the same advantage as someone having 90, 40, which is about the same as having 65,65... This is only a theory that I have...it may not be true..
  9. crafting bloods will prolly be so difficult, that prices won't get affected due to the ammount of time its going to take... Also, is there a blood spot in the abyss?
  10. chinchilla's are the cutest things..but man do they smell.
  11. heck if i know...why do you keep asking me all these dumb questions?
  12. there is no longer such thing as a 'high level'...people can get from 3-120+ in a matter of months these days.
  13. rares are merchanted in two ways...long term and short term. If you pick the long term route...you have to let it sit in your bank for a couple of months... another reason rares are merchanted is because of their price range... with god armour, you can ussually only sell them for about 100-150k more then what you bought them for. With santa's and other rares, their prices ranges can anywhere from 200k-900k... so if people have quite a sum of money, the can buy multiple ammounts of these rares at the low end of the price range and sell them for the highest possible price.
  14. I've actually had this same theory...but i know it sounds rediculous...but it seems whenever i stop in the middle of a run...whether it be from logging out or running out of items...it seems i would get items on those trips.
  15. Runescape turned from a great game to a game that is alright to play...but i'm no longer willing to pay $5 for a month for...and I'm not really to hard up for money...it's just that i'm sick of my checking account going down $5 every month for me to sit and maybe play the game 1 time a week... I've been f2p for the last week or 2 and i've actually started playing a lot more knowing there isn't so much stuff I can do...it's kind of weird.
  16. how about this: if i download music using limewire...and I don't want to get a virus...if i put all my files on that hd...would they still be able to access my other hd and corrupt my os or possibly keylog my account?
  17. I recently took apart my old computer and took out the 3.1 floppy and hardrive out of it. I installed the floppy, and just now i slaved my old hard-drive onto my computer... I was wondering if there is anything unique i could do with two hard-drives....and I also was wondering if i could take the OS off my old hard-drive, and it would still function properly. Also any other useful information, i'd be glad to hear.
  18. ESRB always includes a notice that "gameplay experience may change with online play"....this is because when interacting withother people...random vulgarness may occur...
  19. if all these hats were signed by george washington, or some famour person...they would be worth a lot...
  20. Um, that spot is the center where you open the chest....
  21. my theory is somewhat different.... I beleive that the skill capes have had a lot of impact on this new price drop..
  22. ...if jagex actually blocked your password, and lets say it was something like manbearpig2222...then you'd be sitting their and someone would be like have you ever seen that south park with manbearpig?...then let's say you dont know jagex blocks your pass...so you'd be like o yeah, manbearpig episode kicks [wagon] and it would appear with the asterisct...and the person would know your password...
