Funny warning/notice labels
Really? I always put my periods after the smilies. Take for example you are writing a paragraph, and want to put a smiley at the end of a sentence. You would put it before the period so that you know it goes with that sentence, if you put it after the period then it looks like it is the start of the next sentence. EDIT: Forgot what I was actually going to post. What is shocking about that? It's the directions, and I've taken medicines that have had those exact same directions.

Give it more than two [bleep]ing hours. Don't double post, or triple post, or quadruple post. You are spamming the forums with this [cabbage].

What movie(s) did you last see?
The 5% of the technology shown in the movie that might actually exist is pretty archaic, which is funny. The best part is the other 95%, technology in the movie that doesn't work anything like what it does in real life. Blue Velvet - Another great David Lynch movie. I was afraid at first, the first half an hour (at least) was a normal movie. Not that it was bad, in fact it was quite good, just it didn't seem like David Lynch. Then it started to get odd, and kept on going. Definitely felt like a David Lynch movie by the end. Even if it stayed a normal movie the whole time it would have worked out well, Lynch knows what he is doing. I have seen a few of his movies so far, I don't know which one I like best. I need to watch The Straight Story again, I haven't seen that since it came out. EDIT: A few more :P Repo Man - It was a little odd, in an OK way. Called a "punk-rock sci fi classic", it probably has a small cult following. Some funny stuff, but overall nothing to get excited about. Ran - One of my more favourite Akira Kurosawa films. It looked fantastic, and had a pretty interesting story. I had a little trouble keeping track of what was going on at first, but once I put some names with colours, it was easier to keep track of what was going on. Shaun of the Dead - Heard some really good stuff about this, but I was skeptical after the first few minutes. The skepticism quickly went away however, and I really enjoyed the movie. Definitely a funny comedy, but has a serious part every now and then. I haven't seen Dawn of the Dead, which is what this parodies supposedly, so I don't know how it compares.

Microsoft got pwned!
Yep, that's why I called Opera the best :P . If I started out using Opera I wouldn't be in this predicament, I've just been using Fx so long that I am used to it, and can't adapt to anything else.

Whats Wrong with the world?
I never understood why some opening posters put rules in for "their" topic. It's not your topic, you just made the opening post. And this case is even worse than others because you just said usual forum rules apply. Well thanks captain obvious, I would never have guessed that. And didn't we just have a "what's wrong with the world" topic a week or two ago?

Most Disgusting Smells. and favorite smells.
Smells give me headaches, so the best smell is a complete lack of smell.

How do you listen to your songs?
Is there any way to get a Wii to play [extension not allowed] files except for the background music to slideshows? When you do it like that it just loops one track.

What movie(s) did you last see?
Ah yes, I remember now. Season 3 is also when Kim is working at CTU, right? And that is good you don't have to wait too long for "Lost", but it still seems like there is no reason not to air it the next day or the same day. Anyways, I can never find movies at Blockbuster either. I'm thinking about signing up for Netflix or something, anyone have experience with that? Right now I am doing OK "finding" them on the internet, but some are really hard to find. WarGames - Heh, this movie is stupid, yet funny. I love how computers work like magic in it. Just an amusing movie. The Three Musketeers This is the 1993 Disney version. I used to watch this as a kid, so it had some sentimental value I guess. What I never knew is that Jack Bauer is in it, until I found out last night. That's why I had to watch it today. All right for the type of movie it is, but there are many stupid parts in it.

The Political Compass
Thanks :D . The economy shouldn't serve anybody. If I say disagree, it is going to view that as I think it should serve trans-national corporations. I don't think it should serve them either. I guess I'll take it and edit back in my score. Post 2: I'd say about a third of them were like that. Very frustrating. Anyways, my score was: Your political compass Economic Left/Right: 6.63 Social Libertarian/Authoritarian: -5.44 Since about a third of the questions were stupid, I say take into account a + or - 3.33 error margin. This time: Your political compass Economic Left/Right: 7.50 Social Libertarian/Authoritarian: -4.87 My views haven't changed at all, just with the way they word this test and the fact that it only has agree/disagree my scores have a changed a good amount.

Game with the Best Ending?
Sure you never need to jump except where you can jump, but it is just nice to have that option. When I play Oblivion or Morrowind I jump everywhere, while I am just walking down a street. I have to be clicking a button other than just walking straight or I get bored  . Although in Zelda you can roll everywhere, which is what I ended up doing. Not quite the same as jumping though.

South Park!!!
South Park also stereotypes hippies, liberals, conservatives, rednecks, Canadians. Pointing out that they make fun of blacks and Jews is just idiocy.

Ultimate Frisbee
Heh, I thought I posted the exact same thing and was going to tell you to read the topic, but then I looked back and operantly I didn't post it :P . Family Guy FTW! /Just got a strange feeling of deja vu, has this happened before?

Microsoft got pwned!
After I saw that a while back I thought I'd swith to Opera, since it is the best. I didn't like the way it worked at all, I gave up on it after about 15 minutes.

What movie(s) did you last see?
Well I felt like relaxing after working out in the snow and cold all day. Plus, I have no life so I have plenty of time. Also I can multi-task, right now I am watching a movie (which I will be posting shortly once I am finished). Actually today I have only watched Dark City and The Painted Veil, the other ones were yesterday.

What movie(s) did you last see?
I enjoyed Vol. 1 more than Vol. 2 also. There is a version out on the net that I think is called "Kill Bill Vol. X" that takes every scene from both movies and puts them in chronological order. I think that would be around half the scenes from Vol 2, Vol 1, then the other half of Vol 2 (not big blocks of course, and some discrepancies). I think that would be pretty interesting. Oh and yes, the the ending to Vol. 1 is awesome :) . Oh, and since you are watching movies again, check out Oldboy. If you liked Kill Bill a lot you will definitely like it. The Painted Veil - Edward Norton and Naomi Watts. That's why I was really excited about this, one of my favourite actors and one of my favourite actresses. The story looked OK, so I went for it. Turned out to be decent, nothing great. Seemed like it was kind of haphazard at the end. Like the first hour and twenty minutes there is the basic storyline, which then comes to the resolution. Then the last half hour consists of one or two mini filler stories before the ending. If they cut about fifteen to twenty minutes out of that part, I think it would have been much better. I just figured out it is based on a book, so I don't know how that went in there. I wouldn't go out of your way to see this, but it's a good movie.

What movie(s) did you last see?
Which one is that about? It is hard to keep track of what happens when. They all kind of start to melt together lol. Speaking of "24": Dark City - Jack Bauer (real name Kiefer Sutherland I guess) is in this movie. In this movie, he also says his two favourite lines from 24: "We're running out of time!" "You're going to have to trust me". That made this movie go from a pretty damned awesome movie to a freaking awesome movie. Once again this movie was on the "geek movie" list, and I guess I can see why. It won't be for everyone. Just seeing Jack Bauer say those two lines make this movie a must see for any hardcore "24" fan. Yes, I will always refer to Kiefer Sutherland as Jack Bauer. Sure he has played in many other things, but that doesn't matter. Also for the "Lost" fans out there it starts up again tonight at 10:00 EST, and will go for 16 weeks straight.

Three Big Questions to Ask Yourself
That is a crap [wagon] thing to say. It's not stupid to not know. It's a perfectly legitimate response to the questions, and I believe it answers them fully.

What movie(s) did you last see?
Yeah, Owen Wilson is the man. I never did understand the whole falling asleep during a movie thing. No matter how bad the movie is there is usually at least a little bit to keep you going. Vita ̮̬̉̉ bella, La - I absolutely loved this movie. It may even make it's way into my top 10. I almost cried at the end it was so great. Gattaca - It was on a list of movies that every geek should see, so I had to see it. There are a few more on there that I haven't watched yet either, lets hope they are as entertaining as this one. Interesting story mostly, not really action packed or anything. SciFi fans will like it.

What movie(s) did you last see?
Die Hard 2 - Whereas Die Hard was much better than a generic action flick, yet still generic, this one was just an average generic action flick. Not bad, nothing special. Die Hard: With a Vengeance - Still not as good as the original, but better than the second. Generic action, pretty intense. It seems like everything moves very quickly. Nuovo cinema Paradiso - This movie was awesome, I loved it. Shows all three stages of the main characters life, and really draws you in. I was really feeling it there at the end with the Cinema Paradiso. Heat - I am pretty sure I have seen this movie before. Throughout half the movie I had intense feelings of deja vu, like I have seen something like it before, but I didn't have the feeling that I have seen it before. That doesn't make sense, but that's how I felt. Anyways, I remembered the last 20 minutes in a non-deja vu way, so I am pretty sure I had seen it. Anyways, it was a pretty good crime movie. I like how they give both prospectives equal value, the good and the bad. Like a lot of them they do try to make you feel for the bad guy, but I don't let that get in the way of liking it.

DVDs: Fullscreen vs. Widescreen
Widescreen, even though all my TVs and Monitors are fullscreen aspect ratio.
