No harm meant, just saying that people do get arrogant when they donate. Not saying you do per say, just that it isn't all that uncommon. Your situation isn't much different than millions of other families. The best thing to do is just live with it the best you can. Your parents do a lot for you, don't take them for granted. Seems like most of the problems are when you are talking to them, so that is easy to fix. Just don't talk to them anymore. If they ask you a question you should answer, just never start a conversation with them. Get a hobby that you can do in your room (heh), so that the only time you are with them is during supper or on your way in or out. And don't kill yourself, because if you do it will be pretty stupid. There are many, many, many people who have worse lives than you. Teenage depressions happen to almost everyone, yours is nothing special.

The only one I got was the first American president one, and that is just because I looked it up. I knew they were looking for the first President of the First Continental Congress when they just specified "America", and not the United States of America. Also the Ice Age question is stupid. As far as I know, an ice age happens every 10,000 years or so. We are currently due for one, but it doesn't look like it started to me.

I think Wii Sports and Zelda should keep you pretty busy until some more games come up. Wii Sports for the multi-player, Zelda for single player. I'd like to get one, but alas, I still can't find a Wii anywhere.

I did. Some guy makes just one post, and that post is saying he is leaving. Seemed pretty pointless to me. After I reported it, it was cleared by one of the mods, and that was pretty much right after the OP. So that means the report you saw was from someone else who also thinks likewise.

"Family Guy" season 3 - Just as good as the first 2 seasons. Children of Men - Heh, felt like watching it again. After looking at some of the long shots, I think they aren't entirely real. The long shot we were talking about above lasts for 10-15 minutes, but there was blood on the camera for a while, then it disappeared. The shot was seamless, it just slowly disappeared.

I think I know the one you are talking about. When the Uprising is going on in the refugee camp, the main character loses track of the woman and baby, then goes into the building to bring her out . If that's it, I think it was two shots. During the first part of it there was blood on the camera, then after he went into the building there wasn't any blood. While watching it my friends and I thought it was all one continuous shot because we never saw it stop, but I noticed the blood wasn't on the lens anymore so I don't know. I might watch it again sometime and see.

That wasn't nearly as cool as I thought it would be. Also, when you quote something, you should give the actual quote: Enough is enough! I have had it with these mother[bleep]ing snakes on this mother[bleep]ing plane!

"Family Guy" season 2 - A few times I was laughing so hard my family heard me all the way upstairs. With the way my house is set up, that is quite a feat :P . Children of Men - I really wanted to see this, but really didn't know all that much about it. It is in the post-apocalyptic totalitarian government setting, and I love that. This movie turned out to be better than I thought it would be. The long shots were amazing, although I heard they were pieced together digitally just to make it look long. Some other people said they weren't, so I don't know. Still, they were awesome. Another thing I really noticed was the soundtrack. It was very unobtrusive. Not like most movies where the sound is basically telling you how you feel. They didn't do anything crazy like putting happy music when someone was dying, it just wasn't in your face sad music when someone was dying. Overall a great movie.

I like the four CDA sets you have. Where did you get those? The I, Robot head is pretty awesome also. I probably said that the last time you posted though :lol: Two of my DVDs are currently out on loan, and I have all five seasons of 24 coming in the mail. I'll take a picture once I get everything.

When I played Rome: Total War, I chose the "auto-complete" battle option, what ever that was called. I never went off the campaign map :P . I loved Civ IV, but every time I start playing it my life gets completely screwed up for a few days. All I do is play it, I can't stop. Also, I am not very good at it. I can't remember what the difficulty levels were but I know I always played on one of the lower ones. Finally, I am a stickler for order. My cities have to be placed in a pattern so as to waste the least amount of space in between. That means a lot of the time when I first start a city, there are an abundance of resources just one block out of range, and if I had just moved my city over one it would have grown twice as fast. But I would rather gimp the city than to break the pattern.

Nice post Cad. I don't have anything to say about the game, I just thought it was nice not seeing a post with the name of the game, one or two lines asking if anyone plays it, and if we are lucky a link to the game, but with no descriptions.

Yep, a lot of people don't like Tom Cruise. Personally I don't mind him, I don't think he is a great actor but he is good enough. Really it's just that I enjoy almost every single one of his movies, I own thirteen of them right now. That's more than any other actor/actress right now. And yes, Jennifer Connelly is pretty hot, and she is a decent actress. She made my top 3 in the favourite actor/actress thread that was up here a while back. "24" season 5 - Daan mentioned earlier that he heard season 5 was the best. It turns out he was right :P . Besides for season one, this is the only season that didn't have a completely useless side story by one of the characters. Plus, we got to see Elisha Cuthbert for a while, and that is definitely a plus. The season also ended awesomely. Can't wait for season 6, the prequel looked pretty awesome. "Family Guy" season 1 - You all know about Family Guy, so I'll keep this brief. I like it, a lot. Not my favourite cartoon, but pretty damn funny. A Scanner Darkly - Always been a fan of movies based on Philip K. Dick novels, and this was no exception. Of course I am just basing that assumption on two other movies (that I can think of off the top of my head).

I don't "idolize" anyone in particular, but if I had to choose someone it would probably be Adam Smith. He wrote "The Wealth of Nations" which has had a large effect on economics.
