  1. You can't really compare the stats unless you do it per capita. Yes, the Falkland Islands only has one death every 11.9 days, but they don't have that many people.
  2. Yep, I've wasted about $20 of gas so far, and about 5 hours of my time. I'm going to get to the stores around 7:00 Sunday morning, since they open at 10:00 that will be three hours early. If I can't get one then I will probably also stop looking.
  3. Yep, I remember that too. I guess this simulation isn't quite up to date.
  4. I played FFVII for about 7-8 hours, because it was supposed to be one of the greatest games ever. I kept on trying to get into it, I never could. I played FFVIII for a shorter time, about 3-4 hours. I thought maybe I would like this one better. I didn't. Mostly I hated the fighting system. Secondly I hated the random attacks.
  5. The Fifth Element - Awesome SciFi movie, but a little bit different than the norm. If you have watched Leon: The Professional, which is directed and written by the same person as this, then you know what I am talking about. You can definitely tell his style. Edward Scissorhands - I love Tim Burton movies. Awesome. The Girl Next Door - I've been watching a lot of teen movies lately, so when I saw this on the shelf I thought what the hell, why not. After watching about 20 minutes of this, two things were running through my mind. 1. Not another teen movie (heh, just like the title of the teen movie genre parody). 2. Elisha Cuthbert is very hot. By the end I didn't mind that it was another generic teen movie, but I think that is going to be the final one for a while.

I do spend a lot of time on the computer, and I have seen tons of these sort of posts. Generally, the person behind the post is worse than what they say in the post. Lying to themselves makes them feel better, or something. I choose to not respond back in the same manner not because I can't think of something, but because I find it pointless.

Give you credit? Who the hell do you think you are? That has been an internet meme for years. It comes from this picture: Stop taking credit for things you have no part of. Or if you do, make sure it is something that is a little obscure.
  8. Why did you just bump up this two month old topic?
  9. Oh, I guess that makes sense. I had no idea where that came from, I thought he was just complaining. That is a stupid thing to complain about though, my parents would have never bought me a gaming system no matter what.
  10. People keep on insulting rap because they know that people who like rap will be annoyed. Just ignore it, eventually they will stop posting.

Hollywood may have exaggerated it some, but it is based off of Frank Miller's graphical novel called "300". From what I remember from the trailer, it is a lot like the graphic novel. Like they did with Frank Miller's Sin City, the scenes in the movie are pretty much exactly like they are in the novel.
  12. If we have 15 movies left, shouldn't we add one, so that there will be 16? Then you could go 16-8-4-2-1. I don't know how we would choose which one to add though, so I guess this is the only way. I don't feel right choosing one to discard, seeing as how I haven't seen all of them. Of the ones I have seen I would choose Sunset Boulevard, so I guess I'll just make that my choice.
  13. What has that got to do with the Wii?

I just watched that an hour ago, and I literally just finished reading the comics. It's actually only five comic books long, the movie is going to have a lot of extra stuff in it.
  15. Yea, ditto, which is why I refuse to wear t-shirts, or anything that makes me look fat. Layering and not big clothing is the key. I like layering, but for the opposite reason. I'm just really skinny, and bigger clothes make my frame look bigger. I'm skinny too, so I always have a lot of clothes on. Even in the summer with 100+ degree temperatures, I will have two shirts on. A white t-shirt goes under everything always. Today I had 6 layers on: white t-shirt, 3 long sleeve shirts, hoodie, and then my coveralls :D .

25 minutes is like 2 miles, thats 4 miles a day. That is nothing, I sometimes cycle 12 miles a day and I get through it fine. So evidently there is a way. 25 minutes by car. About 20 miles. Through country roads that are hilly and curvy, with no edge to bike on. Then miles of expressway, which is illegal to bike on. Then through the city, half of which doesn't have any place to bicycle. THERE IS NO WAY I CAN GET TO WORK WITHOUT A CAR. Is that really that hard to understand?
  18. I love getting people with the screamer videos. I can't find my favourite one for some reason... hehe.
  19. I find something I like, then buy a couple of them. For example, I really liked this hoodie I had. So I went to Wal-Mart and bought three more of them ($7 a piece). I liked this plain long sleeve shirt, so I went to Wal-Mart and bought two more of them. My shirt situation consists of three long sleeve shirts, all the same, just different colours. All of them plain. Four hoodies, all the same. Three different colours, I have two that are exactly the same.
  20. Did you get one? Almost three weeks since launch here, and I still can't find them anywhere. It is starting to get very, very frustrating.
  21. What is this OTET thing you are talking about?

Politically, I don't think anything should be done. If human beings as a whole won't fix the problem by their own free will, well then maybe the human race doesn't deserve to survive. Personally, everyone doing a lot of little things would help out tremendously. Currently I am not doing many of them. I do recycle, and that is something. Car-pooling would be a major step for the average people. Corporations could also really help alleviate the problem. Once again, I must point out that I don't think anyone should make them help out, I think it would be in their best interest to help out. For example, car manufactures could start working on less polluting automobiles. When I have the money to do it, and when they come out in a few years, I would really like to get a Tesla Roadster. They are powered by plugging them into a wall outlet. Now that Solar energy is more efficient, you could have a car that doesn't cost anything to fuel after the initial purchases.
  23. :P I consider myself a libertarian, but I am kind of going back and forth between anarchist and libertarian.

The nearest train station used to be about 15 minutes away. It stopped running around 1975. The nearest bus station is 3 minutes away from my work, about 25 minutes away from my house. There is no way for me to get to work without driving my car.
  25. I'd say about a third of them were like that. Very frustrating. Anyways, my score was: Your political compass Economic Left/Right: 6.63 Social Libertarian/Authoritarian: -5.44 Since about a third of the questions were stupid, I say take into account a + or - 3.33 error margin.
