  1. "Racing is boring" "I only like it when they crash" "They just drive around in circles" "NASCAR fans are stupid inbred hicks" "Racing is a skill" "Racing takes a lot of endurance" "It is a lot harder than other sports" "They put their life on the line every race" Ok, I covered both sides. No need to say any of those things again. If you don't like racing, why the hell are you reading this topic? If you have nothing to say about the topic, then all you are doing is spamming. STFU, GTFO, and DIAF. Back when I used to watch racing, Jeff Gordon was my favourite NASCAR driver. I remember whenever there was a road course, you could plan on him winning it. He won like 9 in a row or something. I haven't watched any races since this new point system was created, but I know the basics of how it works. Since JG is in the top 10, he can't go any lower, right? I guess that's good for him this time, I could see how it would be bad though.
  2. It usually gets locked when people start naming where they get it from. I just said how much I uploaded/downloaded in response to Blue's comment about how very few uploaders upload hundreds of gigabytes of data with their real IP address.
  3. I've never uploaded a file, I am just a good seeder :D . This entire topic has been about piracy though, so not wanting any more piracy discussion pretty much excludes anything to say about the subject.
  4. Det Sjunde inseglet - So far my favourite Ingmar Bergman film. I loved the story, the setting, the acting, everything. You see a lot of the same actors/actresses that Bergman uses in his other films, they must all like working together. I thought they did great. The movie moved a little faster than his other ones also, which is good for me. Like his other movies this one also was about religion, in this one the knight looking for the knowledge of God, and he is looking for it from the Devil. Great movie, everyone should see. EDIT: Can't stop watching movies... Spartacus - Directed by Stanley Kubrick, with Kirk Douglas as the main actor. We've had this formula before with Paths of Glory, and it worked out awesomely. It did for this movie also. It is about a slave uprising against the Roman Empire. Itt may not be historically accurate, but I don't care too much about that. It also has an epic-type battle in it, probably one of the first if not the first movie to have it (made in 1960). It seems like half the movies today have an epic battle at the end, but I haven't see it in the older movies. Overall a pretty good movie, but a little on the long side.
  5. You can make tons of household items into explosives, and get the guides to do it right off the interwebs. Anyways, I've never had it, never even heard of it. Still, I don't like the law because it is restricting trade.
  6. DIAF. If one of you has a video camera, you could make a short film. Spend a few days getting ideas and writing a script, then spend a few days filming. Doesn't have to be good, but you'll have fun anyways.
  7. 400 gigabytes down, 750 gigabytes up. All on a static IP :P
  8. No, its not just you, that is exactly what happened. But like you said, it's MPC, so it's all good :P .
  9. I've also never found a fake file on these, but I have downloaded .rar files that need passwords, and you are supposed to go to twenty different sites to get it. These are mostly just when you get the "innapropriate" stuff though  . But the RIAA definently knows about torrents, they aren't as stupid as you say. Two years ago when torrents weren't as big they probably weren't too worried about it, more worried about Kazaa/Limewire. But now torrents are probably more popular than either of those, and the RIAA isn't stupid. They are in this for the money, they are going to have experts working for them.
  10. Forest Gump - A classic.
  11. Mad Max, Mad Max 2, and Mad Max 3 - Not as good as I expected them to be. Not much to say, I didn't like them. I didn't hate them either, I just don't plan on ever watching them again.
  12. I only got one in tonight, I had to watch Battlestar Galactica. :D For those of you who watch BSG, tonights episode (Season 3, Episode 4) is easily the best episode of all three seasons. I didn't think anything could top the Season 2 finale, but yeah, this did. Anyways, onto the movie: The Rocky Horror Picture Show - This movie is fraked up. I like weird movies, so over all I enjoyed it. It's not for everyone though. The acting wasn't great, but I think that added to the movie most of the time. I don't know if they were lip-synching or not, it did look like at times. It was kind of odd the way I felt about it during the movie. At times, I would be thinking how awesome it is, and then just a few minutes later checking the time waiting for it to be over. Now, after it's over, I can say overall I enjoyed it more than I disliked it. Still, it's definently not for everyone.
  13. Oh, I know the retaliation would be of epic proportions if they started using nukes. My point was, because of it's geographical location, it is impossible to be a lake.

Was the speed sign yellow? Normally in curves they have a yellow cautionary speed sign. I don't they are mandatory, just suggestive.
  15. Link: It's also one of the most expensive films to make. I haven't watched any movies in a while, too many TV shows to keep up with. I'm probably going to watch a few tommorow, around my TV show schedule of course :D .
  16. It seems like they are known for their first party games more than others. But in my completley un-proffesional opinion, I think they need to depend on first parties a lot less than the other two consoles. Both the PS3 and 360 cost more to manufacture than what they charge for them. They make up the money with their games. The Wii makes money from selling their system, so they really don't need the games to make money. There's probably a flaw in that logic, but that's what I think.
  17. That wasn't the point at all. The alcohol part was just to make fun of Mel Gibson. The point is that some teachers aren't found guilty because they are hot.
  18. Someone needs to work on their geography.
  19. What kind of drugs was he taking?
  20. Yeah, it was basically the same exact thing.

Keep in mind that the Dharma logo was put on the shark as a joke by the special effects team. Really? Learn something new everyday... Well, I guess that is good, because it means the bears not having any symbols doesn't disprove anything.

There was a ripped-up Dharma shirt in the bear's cave. My theory is that the bears escaped, killing the Dharma scientists. Then the Others took over The Hydra. The Others are the Dharma scientists, or at least the kids of the scientists. I've assumed for a while that they are the scientists, and when Henry/Ben said has been there his whole life, I thought maybe they could be the kids. Those are just my theories, of course :P . I don't think the bears could escape though, like the shark I think it was set free. I wish we would see a Dharma symbol on a bear, to know for sure that they are Dharma's. The Dharma shirt in the cave and all those bones were probably some of the scientists who stayed on the island after they failed their mission.

The Wikipedia article on John Locke has last nights flashbacks coming after almost all the other flashbacks, so it is after the kidney ordeal. I know Wikipedia isn't perfect, but I think you and the article are right. We still don't know how he lost use of his legs, that takes place sometime between last nights flashback with the pot commune and the first flashback we saw of his, when we figure out he is crippled. I can't wait for next week's episode either :D . Actually I can, since I have to, so I should say: I can wait for next week's episode, but I would sacrifice a puppy to see it right now.
  25. From what I noticed of the other classes that did this (I didn't get too :( ) is that aerodynamics didn't really make that much of a difference. Worry mostly about making it strong enough, and light. And make sure it drives straight.
