  1. Those were the first days TIF was open to the public. Tip.it had other forums before TIF, the Scapeboards. If I remember correctly there was one before the Scapeboards, but I wasn't around then, so I can't verify. EDIT: Just checked out my join date, apperantly I didn't join these forums till they were open a week. They probably came back up during a hiatus from RS, so I didn't check them out that much. Now I haven't played RS in years, but I go to the forums many more times a day :P
  2. /Wanted for questioning I don't see how "Bum Fights" is bad. Paying people to fight each other? Kind of sounds like boxing to me. If both "bums" consent to it, we shouldn't have the right to tell them they can't. The other stuff is bad though. Tieing them up and beating them is illegal, bum or not. The fact that they are bums shouldn't be an issue here.
  3. South Park is easily the best cartoon ever. Not only is it extremely funny, but it is just awesome. Season Ten starts up again this Wednesday, and apperantly the first episode is WoW based. All you WoW addicts will probably like it :P
  4. I was only able to take three classes this semester, because of time restraints. I took an "Intro to Computers" course, which deals in how to use Word, Excel, Powerpoint ect... Every computer class I have taken has been easy, but this one is dumbifying. I know thats not a word, but that's the best way to explain it. I get a kick out of it because there are a lot of people in the class who don't know what they are doing, and the teacher has to explain to them how to open "My Documents" :o . So I sit there and help the people around me when they need it, and play tetris when they don't :P . My teacher brought in a keyboard for me that he had from home that isn't as loud, because I really get into tetris :D .
  5. I just mentioned it in the post above yours :P
  6. If you like Japanese style RPGs, it may be the best ever. If you don't then something called Morrowind is the best RPG ever :P . I don't have any screenshots, but I'll list a few classics I enjoyed. PC: God of Thunder Jetpack Astrofire Raptor: Call of the Shadows Tetris (any version) Lemmings Oregon Trail (original, of course  ) Star Wars: Rebel Assualt Chip's Challenge The only old system I ever had was a Sega Nomad (Sega Genesis portable, I think I may have the only one still in existance :o ), which doesn't work anymore. On it I only played one game... Madden '95 (which is also the only Madden game that I don't hate) When I played at friends houses: Golden Axe Streets of Rage
  7. I live at home and commute to college. So my dorm room is just my room :P . Not much has changed since the "Post pictures of your room" topic, I might go get those.
  8. I should point out that only AO and Eve online have been enertaining enough to keep me playing it for more than three days. Every other MMORPG I have tried since Runescape usually lasts around 10 minutes on my computer. That's probably including the install time also. AO might be pretty good, I just don't care for MMORPGs. And I didn't like the interface, as I stated above.
  9. I'm against torture of any kind. Even if it's used on a "terrorist."
  10. It's a coffin, and it is also one of the oldest puzzles ever.
  11. I played it for a while, I think I was about level 13 or something when I quit. It wasn't very smooth, I would click somewhere, and it would walk there, then jump me back to where I was 2 seconds ago. It was a huge annoyance at first, but I suffered through it. You could still walk places, just it would take about twice as long. Then, on my last time playing, I was walking down a road. Then it did the jump thing. Oh well, click again like I always do. Jump thing again. Log off, log in. Jump thing again. Sit down for a while, then walk. Jump thing again. I almost broke my monitor, that was amazingly frusterating. That's what caused me to quit, there were plenty of other annoying things too. But it is free, so it might be worth it.
  12. Eraserhead - WTF? Lola Rennt - Great, as always. EDIT: Forgot the first one :P . Also, apperantly the acronym WTF is blocked, but it is the best way to explain my thoughts on Eraserhead :D . Rebecca - The first movie I watched today, can't beleive I almost forgot about it. Another great Hitchcock, I really didn't see it going to the way it did near the end. Once again, if you like Hitchcock, you probably will like it. EDIT 2: Felt like watching movies today apperantly :D South Park: Bigger Longer & Uncut - I'm sure even those of you who haven't seen South Park already hold an opinion on it, so I won't try to change it. But I will say once again that I think Matt Stone is a genius :D .
  13. North by Northwest - I hadn't actually seen as much of this as I first thought. All the classic scenes, that get parodied all the time, I already saw. So I guess I saw about half of it. Anyways, this is a great Hitchcock movie. If you like Hitchcock, then you will like this one. If you don't, you probably will still like it. Vertigo - This one is a little different than the other Hitchcock's, although I couldn't exactly explain how. It just feels a little different. It is pretty good, and I enjoyed the ending.

I despise seeing all these kids running around with their Che shirts because it is popular. Half the time they don't even know who it is. I don't really know much about him either, except that he was a communist. I don't agree with his politics (in fact, pretty much the exact opposite), but I don't know enough to say whether or not I like him.

If he called you that, he didn't know what he was talking about. If he was responding to something you said, they he may have known. It's "Do I look like I give a ****." Obviously he misspelt it (is it called a misspelling when it's with acronyms?), but that is what he meant.
  16. Do you have to donate to contribute a picture?
  17. I don't like any law that deals with race. It only puts one race above the other, even if that is what it is trying to stop. I also don't care for political correctness. Having to call someone "African American" instead of "black," even though you can call "Caucasians" "white", is just reverse discrimination. And the "colour" coded method works better. For example Charlize Theron is African American (imageshack is being sucky, like normal lately. Link goes to pic). Obviously she is white, but she is an African-American.
  18. Go back to page 61 :P
  19. Hmm. After checking on the imdb boards, it is not nearly as hated as I thought it was. It has a 7.7 rating, which is good enough. Maybe when it first came out all the people who didn't like it were more vocal, on the boards there are a few who hate it, but not all that many. UHF - A movie with 'Weird Al' Yankovic as the lead role. That should sum it up pretty nicely. I enjoyed it, of course :D . Hotaru no haka - Grave of the Fireflies is the best animated movie there is. So far out of the three animated movies I've seen that have come from Japan, all of them have been the best animated movie. I don't know how all three are in the number one position, but they are :P (other two being Spirited Away and Princess Mononoke). This movie is placed in Japan, during WWII. This is by no means just a kids movie, I think it actually might appeal to adults a little more. I loved this movie, and if you ever want to watch an animated movie, this one would be a good choice.
  20. The Beatles version?
  21. I seem to remember a topic like this, but I don't think it was this so it should be fine. Taking a shower after work always makes me feel better. Sometimes I just stand there and let it soak me for about 5 minutes. Waking up on Wednesdays usually gives me a nice feeling. I don't have school Wednesday night, and new comics always come out on Wednesdays (Civil War: Front Line 6 today :P ). Once Lost and Southpark start, Wednesdays will be completly awesome.
  22. Nothing wrong with that, I think a lot of people are like that. I am sort of, I don't always get up a few seconds before, it can be anywhere between 15 minutes before, and 2 minutes after. My alarm might not even work, I don't know. It doesn't have to be the same time everyday either. In the summer sometimes I had to wake up at 5:00, and then the next day at 7:00.
  23. Yep, the miniseries comes in the season one box set in the US also :D
  24. I don't ever really feel all that sorry when someone dies, but I will tell people I am sorry for their loss. This time I'm not even going to do that, driving 120 mph while high? All he gets is a Darwin Award.
  25. wow..just wow..I'm not even sure what I should say to you..thats got to be the most ignorant statement i've read in a very long time. Well, apperantly you either a) don't know what ignorant means, or B) are ignorant of what "subjective" means. There was no shread of ignorance in my statement. You don't have to agree with me that selfish isn't bad, but selfishness is a subjective term.
