i never understood this "looks good on paper" statement. if you mean as in theory it could work, i guess i understand. but it never looked good to me. i see some people working, and other people taking the products of their labour, which sounds an awful lot like slavery. Communism/socialism/capitalism are all ECONOMIC systems, people. thanks captain obvious, of course its an economic system. not only did i never say it wasnt, i never even implied it wasnt. and i didnt reply to your "hypocracy" statement because im not a hypocrite. i dont feel sorry for the less fortunate. i dont think they are unlucky. i wouldnt ever send money to them. i am selfish bastard. i am aware that i live better than the majority of the people in the world. i dont think everyone should share with the less fortunate. they can if they want. edit: i should state that i am a capitalist, and not the psuedo-capitalist that the united states is, i am a laissez-faire capitalist.

i havent really ever given anime the chance, but when ever i turn it on, i can only watch about 5 minutes of it. i find it pretty, well, stupid. having said that, i guess i have watched two movies that can be considered anime. Sen to Chihiro no kamikakushi (spirited away) and Appurusḫ̨̉̉do (appleseed). i really enjoyed spirited away, but i didnt enjoy appleseed as much. spirited away didnt feel like anime all that much, it more felt like it was just animated with a little japanese influence (dont know if that makes sense or not). appleseed was the same way, except it was a little closer to anime. had some corny parts in it, generic anime stuff.

i thought george lucas did THX 1138 pretty well, the star wars ones are just ok. wouldn't ever consider him one of my favourite/greatest directors. its still just one movie, just one part came out in theatres a while before the other part. not too many people will sit through a 4+ hour long movie, especially when they dont know what to expect. there is a torrent going around of kill bill in chronilogical order, takes all the different parts and arranges them chronilogically. just thought you might be interested, but cant post torrents here, its against the rules.

i dont use capitalization, i probably spell words wrong, and many of my sentences are very long with way too many commas in them. i think they are still a lot more legible than other's posts, where they abbreviate words and use numbers instead of letters. i was never any good at grammar anyway, so even if i did try real hard to make it correct it probably wouldn't be.

So hes going to walk around with a [bleep]e in him for the rest of his life? if you are joking, that wasnt a great joke. if you are being serious, then i feel sorry for you. if you get stabbed with something its better to leave it in and get to a doctor. you can cause a lot more damage pulling it out. this goes for a lot of things, if you stab yourself with a knife (really deep), you arent supposed to pull it out. if you step on a nail and it goes all the way through, you arent supposed to pull it out. this is even worse because the barbs dig in when you pull them out.

finally thought of something i did, rather than something that everyone who played the game did. on the ps1 there is a game called kings field, an rpg. it has 5 different magic levels, wind/fire/water ect... i got to level 100 water magic, then looked on gamefaqs website, and every guides information was incomplete for water. all these game experts only had level 50 water magic at the most (probably because its really, really hard to level, and definently not worth it). i guess thats something, although i didnt feel much while playing the game, it was just knowing that they didnt get that far.

this is where i would put in the picture of some guy on a street corner holding up a sign saying "join now! a few more members and we go form being a cult to being a religion!"

the only thing that really stands out is in KotoR, we all know what happens in there :D . thats something everyone who completes the games goes through though, so i guess its not really that big of a deal.

i liked the movie, and i liked the music during the movie. that said, i dont really like any classical music over any others. i always listen to classical music station on the way to work in the morning, its good morning music.

Also, another thing I hate is people that don't flush the toilets, especially the ones that just go, and walk out of the stall proudly (especially if they just stood up from sitting, if you know what I'm implying). I can totally relate to that. I am also an RA in a college dorm, and that is a startingly common problem. Yeah.. it doesn't make any sense to me. When I go to the bathroom, I want to see a clear toilet bowl, not a yellow one. You'd think college students would be smart enough to flush.. :roll: I dont understand people sometimes.. if its yellow let in mellow, if its brown flush it down!

i used to play, i had a nation where people were completly free, that was my main one. i had another with a completly free economy, but no civil or political rights. i was going to use that one if i ever rp'ed a war scenerio.

when i was in highschool i was indifferent toward it. kind of wanted to get out, but knew life would be a lot more tough. now that im out i know how much harder it is, and all i want to do is go back.

heh, if i ever played the lottery i would use those numbers. did you ever play the game where you have to put in the number every 108 minutes? i did, for about 12 hours. felt like i was in the hatch :D

the googkle.com site doesnt work. it didnt load anything at all. did a spyware sweep and everything. and you cant download anything through activex if you dont have it in your browser (firefox).

seriously, the site doesnt work right now. i just went there. i read something on the links the topic starter provided about ports and junk, and sometimes port 80 doesnt work or something. i dont claim to understand it, but there it is.
