  1. i couldn't really tell what you were saying, at all. i just finished watching serenity and have been watching firefly lately, and there have been a few good ones in there. ill post two here, but they really need to be seen to make any sense. River: "No power in the 'verse can stop me." the way she says it, after what she just did was freaking awesome. River: The human body can be drained of blood in 8.6 seconds given adequate vacuuming systems. Mal: See, morbid and creepifying, I got no problem with, long as she does it quiet-like. probably not that awesome if you dont know the characters, but if you have seen it you already know :D .

not yet! this picture pretty much sums up how discussions on the wii vs ps3 go. wii is better! ps3 is better! wii is better! ps3 is better! ive never seen one of these arguments end, with one person changing their mind and agreeing with the other. but ill have to input my opinion also, im definently getting the wii. if the wii and ps3 were the same price, the wii would still win in a landslide for me. tilt function on the ps3 controllers? i lost the very small interest i had after they announced that. good job doing something "innovative."

  4. eve online was great for about the first three weeks of playing it, but after that it started to get a little stale. i was trying to do everything freelance, and my small buisness just couldnt compete with all the large corporations :D . i never did turn a profit from manufacturing, which was what i was leveling for. i wouldn't mind playing it again, maybe try doing some other job and see if thats any better. runescape was the only mmorpg that i ever got addicted too, probably because it was the first one i played. i quit almost two years ago, and sadly every now and then i get the urged to play again.
  5. AP classes really depend upon your teacher how much homework you get. some give a lot, some dont. i guess the same things true of regular classes. starting semester two of freshman year of college, i started college in january so i am a semester behind. just means ill finish a semester later. i have classes monday, tuesday, thursday nights, and saturday morning.
  6. hehe, ever played "the sims"? sounds exactly like them :D . i dont really do anything like that when im tired. but i have walked into rooms and completely forgot what i was going to do, but thats nothing odd. everyone has probably done that before.
  7. "Lost" season 1 - felt like rewatching it (again), to get ready for it coming back this fall. the second season comes out on dvd september 5th, and i plan on having it the first day. give me plenty of time before october 4th to watch it. Serenity - i was doing my duty as a browncoat by making my cousin watch a few episodes of the tv series with me, and i got him hooked. i let him borrow my firefly collection, but after watching a few i had to watch more. i just got serenity in the mail, so i watched it. great as always. Through a Glass Darkly - the first in Ingmar Bergman's "trilogy." i dont really think of it as a trilogy, just he had three movies that have similar morals come out fairly close to one another. this one was probably my favourite of the three, i thought Harriet did a tremendous job playing a mentally unstable person. Winter Light - this one of the three pushed the whole "god has forsaken me" point to the highest level. it was good, and i really enjoyed the story. The Silence - didnt pick that title for nothing, there is a lot of parts that there is little to no noise. gives a great contrast to the parts where there is a lot of noise, such as on the street, or when anna is screaming. there is a lot of tension between the two sisters, which you see increase throughout the movie. the little boy almost seems forgotten at times by the his mom and aunt, which is odd because on the back of the dvd case it says they are fighting for his attention. this one doesnt seem to fit in the "trilogy" all that well, dont see much dealing with god in it. all three movies were very well made. all were very solid. definently a good trilogy thats not a trilogy to see.
  8. aug 21. all summer vacation meant to me was more time to work, going back to school is almost better.
  9. im pretty much just echoing what other people already said, but oh well. a. this probably wasnt the only reason she did it. b. reality tv sucks.
  10. i dont think anything is wrong with modern culture. you dont have to follow it. and i think those people were just trying to be nice.
  11. way to many variables to give a yes or no answer. depends entirely on the situation. so i guess ill put "maybe".
  12. well, nothing too special in my dvd collection, but ill post some new pics later. since there were a few posts about tv's above, i figured i would just ask here instead of making a new topic. what kind of tv should i buy? i want an HDTV, and it has to be widescreen. im not sure what else i should know, i get very confused when i look at all the different options at best buy. it doesnt have to be a flat panel, i have a wide enough area for it to be a regular deep one. and any cheap websites i could order them off of would be cool too.
  13. i plan my schedule around what time tv shows come on, some i CANT miss. right now i am watching "its always sunny in philidelphia" and "the 4400". i dont mind waiting a day or two longer to see them, but i try to watch them as soon as possible. comming up this fall there are 4 shows that i wont miss, no matter what. in fact, i just quit my night job, so that i dont have any problems there. i also scheduled my night classes so that they dont intefere with these shows :D . Lost - season 3 starts Wednesday, October 4th. comes on at 9:00 at night, and lasts for an hour. that sets me up for: Southpark - cant find when it premiers, but it comes on at 10:00 on wednesdays. i have comedy central on recall, so that as soon as lost's next weeks previews finish, i click recall and im watching southpark. The Office (US) - season 3 starts Thursday, September 21 at 8:30. season two ended strongly for a comedy, so im pretty much hooked into this show. its hilarious :P . Battlestar Galactica - out of all 4 of these, this one is the one im having the hardest time waiting for. the last ten minutes of season 2 almost killed me, i didnt want it to stop. i couldnt sleep that night, i wanted more. if i had to skip all of those others to watch this show, i would. and im a huge lost fan, so that means something. luckily, it is on friday nights, with the season three premier on October 6th. Firefly - well, its cancelled, so im not going to get any more of it. i thought i should mention it though. i would do anything not to miss this show. in fact, if it meant missing all four of those other shows to see this one, i would. if i broke my leg during a commercial break while watching this show, i would wait till the end to get help. if someone fatally hurt themselves, and i would have to get them to the hospital as soon as possible to save their life, but firefly wasnt over yet, it would be very hard for me to decide what to do. sadly, i wont have a chance to ever figure out what i would do in that situation, since the show is cancelled. EDIT: just found out southpark premiers October 4th, same day as lost. that is going to be one awesome week.
  14. ive seen some pretty crappy online quizes before, but my god that one totally sucked.
  15. AC actually makes me sick (headaches, stomach aches), so thats the main reason. i dont have any fans in my room, so i frequently walk around with just boxers on, or at night nothing on at all :D .
  16. she chose to use her first amendment right to protest. i used my first amendment right to completly ignore her. everyone is happy :D
  17. its been over 100 a few days here. while the rest of my house was air conditioned, i closed the door to the hallway, and put a blanket over it. i then proceeded to put duct tape over the air vents. then i opened up the windows :D . im anti-air conditioning :P .
  18. well thats a pretty good idea. i wish more game companies did this :D .
  19. if you go to a community college (like me) you really dont need much of anything. you are pretty much automatically accepted. i dont even know if you need a high school diploma, since there are some high school students in the night classes.
  20. its like the helicopter game, except harder to see (smaller) and it seems to be a bit mroe 'jumpy".
  21. some people were posting some crazy stuff from there on fark. interesting things people are searching for these days... aol "apologized", if that makes any difference. another way to view it, anybody still using aol deserves whatever comes their way  .

http://mrtwig.net/ it also has every episode of southpark, plus special clips that were never in the tv series. it also doesnt have a stupid link on the site that says "how is this legal?" and then give an answer thats not true at all.
  23. i just ordered the ingmar bergman trilogy :D . "Seinfeld" Season 3, 4 - last episode of season four was great, at the end they showed a lot of the charachters from previous episodes, that were only on one or two episodes. throughout the whole season i noticed them referencing things that happened it previous episodes, a lot more than i thought they did. this show is awesome :D .
  24. i dont know where you live, im guessing in an upper class neighborhood because no one, i mean no one around here leaves their kids 200k when they die. most of the time whats left is just enough to cover funeral cost. also, jewelry is pretty much pointless. diamonds are the biggest rip off ever, they arent nearly as uncommon as they are said to be. they probably end up being worth about as much as a fake one. and so far no one has flamed you, they just disagreed. it happens a lot of forums. flaming does too, but youll know when that happens.

Drew Curtis' FARK.com digg best way to describe these is they link to other sites. there is a message board for each link. pretty funny links and discussions sometimes. of the ones already listed, these are my favs. ctrl alt del imdb and i would have mentioned deviant art before this last week, but ive finally got sick of it.
