Keep - But only display in profile = 22 Yes - Remove = 33 No - Keep = 44 22+33=55 the majority dont want to see post counts under your user name and joined date. 22+44=66 the majority also wants the post count to be kept track of one way or another. i like having it the way it is, but if you did take it away or move it i probably wouldnt notice for a few days, and once i did notice i wouldnt care all that much. what is fun is seeing a good discussion, thats what forums are really about :P .

The whole reason I never want to see that movie. it wouldnt have been so bad if there was an explanation for it, but it was just kinda there. American History X - great, as always.

gift cards dont work 1 year after they are purchased. probably not the best thing to collect :P . i collect dvds, although i dont have as much as daan... yet :twisted: . i also collect a few coins, any coin that is different in a way. and the deleware state quarter, from when they started doing the state things. i have about 60 now. they said they only minted 600,000 of them, and there are 300,000,000 people in the USA, so i have quite more than my share of them quarters :D

two points that have been mentioned frequently since i last posted: speed of the forums: removing post count all together may help speed things up, im not exactly sure how that works. putting the post counts in the profile would not, since they still have to be tracked, not to mention that is one more page load for the server to try to handle. it could make things a lot slower than now. ranking/karma/ratings: any sort of system like that will be abused. popularity will be prelevant in most rankings. and not to mention people will be +/- based on their opinions, not on if the post is good or not. for proof just look at digg.com. if someone disagrees with the majority, they are dugg down. piracy is a big issue on there, and pretty much any post that is pro anti-piracy is dugg deep, even if it is a well thought out post.

Drumline thats probably right, but if its not, i guess American Pie: Band Camp. and there is an interesting part in About Schmidt with a hot tub, so thats what ill guess for that one.

i dont see how anyone favoring any sort of immigration restrictions can call themselves not racist. just because someone is a different race doesnt mean they are less of a person. im completely for the dissapation of all borders ALL OVER THE WORLD. a person is a person, nationality/race/colour means nothing.

NOFX-The Decline its long (18min) and builds up to a great ending, epic feeling to me :P

humans can adapt to change much more easily than rhinos, and charles darwin says that the species most adaptable to change will survive. its going to happen to humans eventually. we'll start replacing human labour with machines, till eventually humans will pretty much become useless, and be eliminated.

i could give a list of movies pre-1960 that are funny and comedic, but i dont know if you like old movies or not. if not, you are going to have a hard time finding clean comedies.

The Philadelphia Story - not a big katherine hepburn fan, but i got past that. a decent romance movie, intertwinning plots, decent acting by everyone. its a good movie. EDIT: another one :P Frida - this movie was interesting. salma hayek did a pretty decent job acting, but i didnt much care for the unibrow. this was an adaptation from the book, so maybe it held some importance there. give it a watch if you have the time. EDIT 2: no new posts, so another one :D The Adventures of Robin Hood - decent movie. sometimes errol flynn seemed good for the part, at other times not so good. one thing i was happy with was the sword play, pretty decent.

TIF allows you to have auto login, and i think a lot of other sites do too. although i have to re-log in every few days now, and i never used to have to. i dont know whats wrong.

if you are talking about the "whos online" thing at the top of the forum, i never look at that, so i wouldnt know. in the actual topics, i notice a lot of peoples names. anyone who posts in OT and M&M a lot.

heh, when i first read that i took it in a totally sick way :P /my mind is in the gutter //i dont mind all that much though anyways, the first advice i gave was to invest it. now that i read it again, i think you wont really need to do that. your parents bought you a car, so i can assume they are probably going to pay for your other bills too when you get older. so that means, spend the money, but dont spend it till you are absolutely sure what you want. you dont want to waste all that money on something you will only use once or twice.

i like post counts :D . its fun to see names i dont recognize with over 1000 posts, and i dont recongnize them because they dont post in music and movies or off topic. i dont think having them really cause any harm, either. EDIT: forgot to mention that i dont like any other sort of user rating system. like the karma system mentioned above, or fame. all that would happen is the "popular" people getting better ranks, and personal vendettas would also affect it.

if you dont have any money saved yet, save it. put it into a 4 year CD, you should get around 4% at todays rates. youll definently need that money later on a lot more than you need it now (unless your parents are paying for everything).

fashionable non-conforminism pisses me off. advertising that you are different just for the sake of being different. people calling themselves non-conformists is a fad around here.

"X-Men" Season 3, 4, and 5 - still bad voice acting, and bad animation. the nostalgia and recent obsession with xmen started to wear down to almost making me stop watching it at the end of season 4. the first 2 episodes (one story, a two parter) of season five revived my interest enough to make it to the end. all the xmen captured except beast, and then he teams up with mr sinister, magneto, and forge. crazy stuff. kind of glad im done with them. the quality actually droped a bit there at the end.
