so you just got done with walkabout, or did you count the pilot as just one? walkabout was pretty good, but the series really gets going at about episode 10, a few weird parts in that. in episode 11 you'll finally know what merc's sig means :D

we just had our first new episode for five weeks on wednesday, i was going to school about 30 minutes away, had to make it home in 15 to see the begining of lost. i almost killed myself via wrecking into trees at highspeeds, but i really wanted to see it.

this whole thread made me lol :lol: . but to answer the question, no.

i remember in 8th grad (about 6 years ago) some kid i knew made a suit out of duct tape. took a sheet and made a vest and pants, then taped all over it.

i thought the greatest movie ever poll worked perfectly, the only thing wrong was the name. it should have been "favorite TIForumers movie". and i think that it was a perfectly acceptable outcome for a poll titled that. personally, lord of the rings would only make it in my top 100, maybe top 75. i enjoyed it, and it was done pretty dam well, but there are just better movies. best actor/actress was a good idea, i should have thought of that. best actrees wouldnt work to well for me, i wouldnt go by her acting talents, i would probably go by her other assets :lol: .

i cant stand shaving, but i dont mind having a little hair on my face. screw everyone else, ill do what i like best :lol: . good thing it doesnt grow very fast (my 5 o'clock shadow comes at 5 o'clock on the next day :P )

first thing i thought of was video games, but that would be better in OT. good way to do it to was how necromagus suggested. but anyways, for this forum, i would suggest "greatest tv show ever" and/or "greatest cartoon ever". greatest album ever sounds good for the music people on this board (i guess it is a music and movies forum, but i never look at anything with music :lol: ). if we wanted to do a movie one, we could go by genres. that would take a while, so maybe start with 8 and eliminate from there. then some movies are hard to stick into one particular genre, so i dont know how that would work.

re...make...? i dont think thats going to work out all that well. its definently worth seeing re-make or not :D and why are they remaking it? its a 2003 movie, and it wasnt filmed sloppily or anything. its perfectly fine. sometimes i just dont understand where people get these ideas from... Magnolia - when i first watched this all that time ago i wasnt as experienced with movies, so this seemed like the oddest film ever made, and i loved it because of that. having watched it again, i thought i might not think of it as anything special, because ive seen some very odd movies. but it was still a great movie. storyline: superb. acting: decent-great-crappy (many different charachters). it flowed together all very nicely, it seemed very well put together. the only thing that could have made this movie better (and bumped it into my top 10, sitting top 20 right now, along with about 100 other movies :lol: ) was no julianne moore (sat the whole movie thinking it was drew barrymore, but i couldnt think of her name and i looked at the back, lo-and-behold its julianne moore. i hate them both equally: a whole lot). she was annoying as hell like in every other movie she is in. the end of the movie makes up for everything though, its all really crazy at the end. not going to say anything more, but its great.

well, ill reply. this is my third favorite movie. it is awesome. it is great. i love this movie. 8)

American Pie: Band Camp - it was definently funny, and you could definently tell it was an american pie movie. only thing that it was lacking was more of the original cast. it just wasnt the same. it went from being a hilarious movie that you can get into and watch the people progress from movie to movie; into just a hilarious movie. Kill Bill: Vol. 1 - my favorite of the two if i had to pick one, just because of the house of blue leaves. that is just freaking sweet. watched it with my dad, that was definently kind of akward during some places. its a great movie, filmed magnificently, fairly decent acting, good story. definently a top movie (probably in my top 15) Syriana - expecting a lot out of this movie, and i got it. awesome movie, good storyline, its basically a political movie about oil in the mideast. didnt agree with some of it politically, but movie wise i loved it. filmed in the same sort of free-cam style that traffic was filmed in. great movie, definently worth seeing. Wedding Crashers - friends wanted to watch it, but i just watched it not to long ago. think the same as before, a funny movie. American Pie: Band Camp - less than two days since i first watched it, my friends wanted to watch it again. wasnt paying as much attention, but enough to still catch the jokes and laugh. The Ringer - looked pretty funny on the comercials, but its just a so-so comedy. there are a lot of kinda funny parts, but i just dont think it was pulled off very well. knoxville did ok, nothing special though. after i watched it my friend told me that most of the "main" mentally handicapped people in the movie were actually mentally handicapped in real life. dont know if its true or not, but it makes you admire the movie more. they did pretty good in it. Dirty Deeds - i thought this was a pretty freaking funny movie. but i just read the main user review on imdb which basically says all the flaws and how bad the movie was. i agree with pretty much all of them, but i didnt find them all that important. i was enjoying the movie very thoroughly. definently a good one for you and your friends to watch. its kind of wierd i reminisce about highschool was, time flies. one thing i did notice about this was the girl at the party was the lead girl from american pie band camp. i thought she looked pretty hot in both of them. just a heads up for all you guys out there :D

i dont like it either, i remember making a post about it a while ago for a movie, i think it was lord of the rings. you already get that epic feeling during certain parts, and sad feelings during others, the music is just kind of in the way. if it added to it, it would make a difference. its just so generic, if they switched it up a bit, like putting dreary music in a part that is very happy, but might have a dark side to it. then that would accentuate (or something) the sad part of it, but you still would get the full effect of the happy part. for example, at the end of return of the king during the king ceremony, they sort of do something like it when they show frodo and sam. they have been through so much dark and depressing stuff they cant really be happy, even though it pretty much worked out. if they showed everyone really happy, but had the most depressing music they could find, it would have made you think a little more. yeah, the evil is destroyed, but what was the cost? maybe i would be the only one who would enjoy that though.

didnt like it at all, you werent even playing half the time. it was like you walk 5 feet and then another cutscene happens, or you have to load a new screen. outside you walk five feet and a random montser attacks you. i didnt find the story line all that intriguing either, which most people consider the best part of the game. the graphics were horrendous if you werent watching the cgi cutscenes, they were pretty good. the fighting system absolutely sucked, the menus were very much not user friendly. give me an american or d&d rpg anyday over final fantasy.

if you are not very physically fit, join the air force. their basic training is a synch. army wouldnt be too hard, just a little harder than the air force. neither of them are anywhere close as hard as the marines, and you have a much smaller chance of fighting in the army than if you were in the marines. the military isnt a bad route to go, the pay isnt great but free room and board. plus you can usually get free college out of it.

ahh! i forgot about that. sometimes wierd things happen, and i thats the only explanation, so i wouldnt be suprised if it was real :lol: . and when there is heavy fog outside, i think the robots need to upgrade their video cards, because the view distance isnt very large :lol: . also reminded me that i think something like the truman show is going on, although most people would be bored with me as the star. i still flip the bird randomly at the room around me, when i do something stupid.

im always under the impression that something great will happen to me, i think thats the only way i survive day to day. nothing ever happens, but i always get a renewed sense of it at the begining of each day. i also always plan out whats going to happen, with everything in my favor and me doing everything perfectly. today, for some reason i lost both of those thoughts. right now, my mindset is just kind of, not there. i may be talking about something completely off topic, i dont know.

well, umm, *runs away* :P

not out yet on ps2 or 360 either, and i dont think its ever coming out on ps2.
