Zombie Plans-Revised
Rage zombies are basically impossible. I should have added more 9s. The virus would never appear in nature, and it would be extremely unlikely that humans could (or would want to) create it. Romero zombies are absolutely impossible.

Zombie Plans-Revised
Romero zombies are absolutely impossible. Entropy and the conservation of energy are enough to disprove them. Rage zombies are 99.99% impossible, a virus would have to hit very specific circumstances to get anywhere near something like that.

Marvel = RIP?
I'd like to see a R rated X-Force movie (current team). I think X-Men Origins: Wolverine should have been R also. Although you are right, not much really needs to be.

Marvel = RIP?
I think this digg comment said it pretty well: Disney will probably mostly not bother it too much. Although I think the chance of an R-rated movie is definitely out now. It wasn't too possible anyways.

I liked Laura Prepon before I learned she was a scientologist. Watching True Blood yesterday reminded me of another one: Evan Rachel Wood. Pics to come in a bit. EDIT: Here we go: [hide=] [/hide]

Marvel = RIP?
While I don't like the Disney company, I don't really see a problem with this. It was already a large corporation, now another larger corporation owns them. Not really seeing much of a difference. Hopefully this will allow more funding for superhero movies.

Well I think I am done with this game, not sure yet. I told myself I would quit if FTL travel got godmodded into it. So I'll give this post, and while I'll probably continue reading, this may be my last post here. Standing orders for Norway are: Firstly, for all joint projects with Brazil and I have together, assume that anything she says I automatically agree to. The projects we have together right now are the Alpha Centauri colony, the spaceship construction station (for the ones we sell), the colony on Mars (along with Aether and Australia) which is also where the Mars Space Elevator is, the Earth space elevators (one somewhere in Brazil and mine is in Oslo, Norway) and finally the Brazilian military in Norway (which are fully Brazilian, but I have been paying for them being there). Anything doom says on these things I'll go along with. Secondly, I have mostly been focusing on space stuff for most of the game. Currently I have the aforementioned joint projects with Brazil, and independently a few other things. The Martian colony of Thorland, 96 completely self sustaining modules around 16 Psyche (where the mining ships work), 2 spaceship construction stations also around 16 Psyche that have standing orders to build more mining ships (each station can produce one ship every 3 years) and the actual ships I have are 4 mining ships and 1 colonizing ship (along with a number of small shuttles for small transportation). 3 of the mining ships are working on supplying ore for the space elevators on Earth (the Martian one is complete) and the fourth is working on my project around Venus, which I might as well reveal at this time. The first station is called Bifrost, and it is a 200km long 300m diameter enclosed cylinder that is completely self sustaining. It has some propulsion just in case but it really isn't meant to move. I chose to do this around Venus since no one else has bothered colonizing closer to the Sun than Earth. Also the atmosphere around Venus can be harvested and the necessary ingredients for air can be extracted. Each station can sustain 100,000 people indefinitely once it is ready. This first one will be completed in 3 years (which will be 10 years from start date) and once the space elevators are completed the mining ships will come back to building more of these. Thirdly, I have been researching unmanned aircraft since the beginning of the game. This will continue indefinitely. I am not godmodding myself an army of these like many others have with their military, so these are still the most advanced aircraft in the world. I should have around 100 bombers, 300 fighters and 500 drones which have been being built since the first day of the game (updated with new technology as it comes of course). Research will also continue on making these more effective in Martian gravity which is 1/3 of Earth. Lastly, someone (I think it was Russia) was using Rods of God vs Japan. I was building my satellites solely with mass ever since I first started doing stuff in space. These differ slightly from the others. First, they are farther up. Secondly, they are in geosynchronous orbit above Norway's main cities. This was a deterrent against invasion, not only could I completely destroy Norway if someone invaded the resulting dust cloud would kill most life above the European area and with the air currents the way they are cover most of northern Asia. I have no idea why his 250kg/500kg rods caused so much damage but being that small does make them pretty maneuverable. The ones above Norway are not maneuverable. The only thing that can happen is the engines shut off and they start to fall (since they are in geosynchronous orbit they will fall straight down onto whatever they were above). These are not small tactical rods. These are 15 meter in diameter spherical solid Tungsten, which would be around 34,000,000 kilograms. Being solid Tungsten and not rock like meteors, as well as just starting to accelerate when the engines shut off, barely anything is lost in the atmosphere. Each one should cause around the same amount of damage as double the biggest nuclear bomb, the Tsar bomb (not counting the dust cloud). There are 20 satellites above the 20 major Norwegian cities. The point of this section? To prevent attacks in my absence of course :D A summary of Norwegians in the galaxy: Around 6 million total 5 million in Norway (100,000 ready to move to Bifrost) 10,000 in Alpha Centauri (mostly kids, original settlers were mostly women and were to give birth once per year) 1 million on Mars, equal parts in Thorland and the joint colony. Around 2,000 on various ships/space stations Incentives were given to increase birthrates. Many of the older people from Norway went to Mars, where it is easier on the body. The booming economy of an entirely new planet is enough to take care of the older people, and the drastic reduction of them in Norway allowed for the kids to be born. EDIT: God damn that took 2 hours to write and I thought it was a lot longer. I kept on having to go find when I started stuff...

I know this is from page 153, but I am working on getting caught up. Anything between then and this post I haven't read yet. I have been researching aircraft technology since the first day of this game, so I am positive I have the best aircraft in the world. /more to come in a bit

Hot celebrities/models!! :) Post them here!!
Even if the show was crap it would still be worth watching just to see her :D . But the show is actually decent, plus Amanda Tapping is in it too (she is usually known as a hot, smart blonde with a gun in the Stargate TV shows (SG1 and Atlantis +movies)).

A lot of the stuff in this thread is impossible with today's technology. However FTL travel is completely impossible. You just can't travel faster than the speed of light.

It might be a good idea to have everyone involved in the war to post their total military assets. Norway is also planning to remain neutral through this war.

We have a defense pack from pretty much the start of the game, and that was posted for everyone to see. That doesn't cover if they attack first, only if they are attacked. If Germania attacks first then I will have to help defend as per the mutual defense pact. Technically I am not "allied" with anyone, but Brazil and I are basically allies. There are more Brazilian troops in my country than Norwegians. I'll be starting my Earth based space elevator at the same time Brazil does so we can work on the technological parts of it simultaneously. The extra money from selling ships is enough to fund my other projects, so the space elevator funding is coming from my sovereign wealth fund, now at $1.5 trillion. At a modest 6% interest rate (low for a fund this big) that is $90 billion a year basically free. Then if more is needed it will just be taken out of the fund, or from taxes like every other country has to do.

A few nice pics Das, but shouldn't they be in hide tags? I actually would prefer not having to use them, but I think we are supposed to. I forgot a good one, Emilie Ullerup: [hide=Mostly pics from Sanctuary, some jPod ones would have been nice but couldn't find them] [/hide]

It's actually based in the first colony of Mars, the one that was a joint operation between Brazil, Norway, Aether and Australia. So you have plenty of access to it :) . However since it was just Brazil and I building it there will be charges to use it. Speaking of the space elevator, the mining ship I temporarily retasked to supply ore for the project has been put back to the other project around Venus. Next year my next two mining ships will be completed. Due to the influx of money from the ship orders people have put in I am upping my R&D for my unmanned aircraft significantly.

Idoser: Binaural Drugs
It's all placebo effect. The only actual physiological effect that sound can have is cause very slight anxiety modifications. The only way that it will work is if you really want it to work, and are susceptible to this sort of mind affecting.

Nothing is impossible! You just have to put your mind to it! :^o Alright I have a bit of an odd request. I'm curious as to what everyones Myers-Briggs personality type is, as I think you can correlate your type to how you run your country in this game. So, if you have the time, could you guys take the test here and post what type you got? Cheers. ISTJ, 89%, 1%, 75% and 44% That's what I had back in June when I last took it. A few years ago was the second last time I took it, and everything was slightly towards the middle a bit more.

My army is only 30,000 people :) . But I do have the most advanced unmanned aircraft since I have been working on them since day one.

Will the real Bond please stand up?
I like Sean Connery the most probably, but Craig is up there too. I know Bond is supposed to be over the top with gadgets and supervillains but I like the newer more realistic ones.

Strange, Recurring Theme in Famous Shows.
Here's the rest, if you dare :o And as for actual topic value, A group of misfits that have little in common with each other learn to work together for the greater good, followed by a happy ending where they learn the power of friendship and the entire world is better for it. TVTropes is the very first thing I thought of when reading the topic title :) .

The two new construction space stations are completed, and are working on 2 more ships which should take 2 years. The mining ship that was supplying the Venus project has temporarily been retasked to supply ore for the Space Elevator project on Mars. The remaining colonization ship is continuing to ship people to the Martian colonies (half to the joint colony and half to Thorland each time).

The look of the girl and the way her name looks, it all just screams DeviantArt. And I haven't been to that site in probably 5 years. Glad to know it doesn't change much :D . Hmm, I forgot to post the Claire Danes pics. I'll try and get on that soon. Here we go: [hide=From an Elle photoshoot, couldn't decide which one to post so just went with them all] [/hide]

The best Quenten Tarantino movie?
What are considered the six Tarantino movies: Reservoir Dogs Pulp Fiction Jackie Brown Kill Bill Death Proof Inglourious Basterds He has done a lot of other stuff for other movies, but these are the ones that are considered his movies. He has wrote screenplays for some great movies (True Romance, Natural Born Killers), has guest directed on some, has acted in a lot (he was originally an actor) and has produced a lot. Out of those six I would probably go with Reservoir Dogs as my favourite.
