Not really actually. Its a Halibut if you didnt know. The biggest one ever caught is like 500 (?) pounds. Last year my dad caught a 110 pound one which in length is about as big as me. I actually heard something on NPR the other day about a fish cleaner (it was a "The Story" segment) and she mentioned halibut being as big as a dining room table and weighing 1000 pounds.

I'm pretty sure that's edited... Or she's wearing tons of makeup. It really looks like a deviantart picture, if so it is probably edited. I think I'll post some Claire Danes pictures later, from Stardust if nothing else.

The colonization of Alpha Centauri was a joint Brazil/Norway project, we each sent 500 people (and Japan sent 50 along as well). There has only been one trip made there so far, the rest of the population growth has been from birth. 400 of the Norwegians were female and the other 100 were male to best stimulate growth. The colonization of Mars also started with a joint colony, but there are autonomous regions now.

Yeah, a few of the pictures I posted were like that as well. Just have to save them to your computer and view them there.

Norway this year is mostly just continuing existing projects. Two more space stations for ship constructing purposes are the new projects being worked on this year, to help build more spaceships. Right now two space ships are mining and one is transferring people to Mars. One of the mining ships is providing the ore to the Martian colonies, and the other is taking ore to the project around Venus, with a stop at Earth to offload precious minerals that were mined.

Yeah, Tru Calling wasn't all that great. But she is hot. She was good in the Buffyverse as Faith. She is OK as Echo in Dollhouse.

I made a post just two above you :) (Norway). I've also made a few in the past few days which is better than I was doing last week. Also I know the war with Somalia is over already so it is pointless to mention but I automatically declared war when Somalia attacked Brazil, as per our mutual defense agreement.

It's not a mystery, it's orbiting Alpha Centauri which is the second closest star to the Earth (Sun being the closest of course). It just happens to be one of the kind of stars that humans need.

Norway this year is building 24 more modules. That will make a total of 96, or 4 rings around 16 Psyche. 200 people can live there basically indefinitely, water reclamation is at 100% efficiency and waste-to-food generation is close. Two of my ships are mining there, and the third ship is working on colonizing Mars. The ore from this is going partly to Mars, and partly to another project around Venus (which shouldn't be god-mod terraformed like Mars was). While continuing to colonize the joint land Archeus, we are also going to start colonizing the region directly north of it autonomously. Norwegians are used to the cold :) . We'd like to call it Thorland, for whoever is updating the map.

Whoever said that missed the point completely. I thought it was pretty good, maybe not quite as good as QT's other movies but still damn entertaining. I almost died laughing when Pitt talked in Italian at the theatre.

Yeah, that would make a little sense if it was just him. But he was in the mech suit, and it got the multiple last gasps. That's not how machines work, when it breaks it won't all the sudden find extra strength and work anyways. It is broken.

Not only completely impossible but it would take extremely long also. However a lot of what has been said in this thread was pretty far out there. Norway's population should be around 5 million now, with a GDP of around $600 billion. I also drastically underestimated how much the sovereign wealth fund gains each year. I was using 2007 estimates of $325 billion, but by 2009 it was up to $375 billion. It was estimated to reach $800 billion by 2017. I spent some of it on finishing the extra-solar spaceship modules but that only brought it down about $50 billion. It should be up to around $1.5 trillion dollars now. So I am going to start spending some of that money. Going to build 48 more modules to put up two more rings around 16 Psyche to support people that harvest ore there. Also two more mining ships will be built. Military will increase to 35,000 active personnel, with 200,000 in reserve. After increasing production on my unmanned aircraft I now have a total of 40 Unmanned Stealth Bombers, 120 Unmanned Anti-aircraft Fighters and 200 Unmanned Drones.

As doom mentioned earlier, the ships are built at the Brazil/Norway construction space station. You can take as much time as you need to pay off the $300 billion, but you will get your ship pretty much right away. There should be some done or close to being done. It's been many years since I've made an update (6). The last update I was building modules again, and while only 24 were planned over the course of 3 years we went ahead and continued building them. So over 6 years I built 48 modules, and they are now two rings orbiting 16 Psyche. This means that 100 people can survive there indefinitely supporting the mining operations. The ship made periodic trips bringing new modules there, and bringing ore to the colony on Mars, and some to give the satellites in geosynchronous orbit above Norway more mass. These satellites had to be upgraded some and put into a higher orbit so that there is time to get to it if a satellite fails. Right now they are spherical masses made of tungsten that have been densely packed and are about 15 meters in diameter. But now that modules no longer need to be taken from Earth to the asteroid, the ship will mostly just be transferring materials to the Martian colony. The rare materials that are harvested will be stored until a full load is ready, then they will be sent back to Earth to sell.

Yeah, I don't think it was a plot hole at all, it was just stupid. However there is a huge plot hole dealing with that same item: [hide=]It took 20 years to gather that much, and every little drop counted because they only got one drop out of the last batch before the MNU people came. However, the main character opened it up and got some on him. Then for some reason even though he wasted a lot of it (probably a few months worth), it was still enough to power the ship.[/hide] I liked the movie for the most part, but there were a few annoying things which detracted from it a decent amount: [hide=]1. The aforementioned plot hole 2. Unnecessary camera shaking, I have nothing against the camera shaking style (loved Cloverfield) but there is a point to use it and a point to not use it. They used it when they shouldn't have. 3. Generic epic music at the end (the generic almost "yell" that goes along with music but there is no words, used all the time nowadays). 4. Mech fight lasted way too long. He had around 3 or 4 "last gasps" and it just didn't make any sense. Plus it worked a lot better when he wasn't in it, and it seemed lame that it wouldn't automatically do counter measures like it did before he got in it.[/hide]

Did you see the picture I posted? My .22 is actually called Plinkster. Yeah they aren't a very large caliber, but they shoot accurately enough for me and you can pick up 500 bullets for $25.

Yeah, you can't gauge Eva Green until you have seen the Dreamers :) . Yeah, they are pretty nice looking. While Mila Kunis is hot most of the time, I mostly put her on there because I really like her. Going for straight up hot though I would probably replace her with Jessica Alba.

If this is true, would I be taking Scotland away from anyone? Because I'm not interested in that and would just take a completely open country instead. Well Scotland is occupied by someone, but they started in Ireland so technically any new person could take it (as with all secondary+countries). But with some open space left (including some interesting countries to use) I would suggest choosing a different one. You can also add Norway (me) and Finland (hedgehog1) to the list of capital countries that cannot be taken.
