I don't know when you started playing, but OPEC was alive and well at the beginning of the game. Most of my first posts were about the Nopec cartel to beat the OPEC cartel. Not sure who controlled Saudia Arabia at that point but they were talking about OPEC then. The ships that are being used to travel around the solar system do not use oil, they are smaller versions of the engine used by Brazil and I to get to Alpha Centauri. She can fill you in better on how they work.

Over the time I was away there were standing orders I gave here. 9 years later a decent amount has been accomplished. I had 4 mining ships and 1 colonizing ship, now I have 6 more mining ships for a total of 11 ships. 1 is still just being used for colonizing, the other 10 for mining. Eventually the private sector will probably take over moving people around the solar system but that colonization ship will still probably be helping. A second station around Venus has been completed. For a reminder these are 200km long 300m diameter cylinders that rotate to simulate gravity. Each one can self sustain 100,000 people. The first is called Bifrost, the second is called Asgard. 100,000 Norwegians were ready to go to the first but only 50,000 are being sent to each. Special allowances will be made if there is a reason for them to go there (marrying someone who is there ect...) but for the most part the other half will be born there. 50,000 more are being sent to Asgard since it is finished this year. A few more of these stations will be built around Venus, using the resources of 6 of the mining ships. Each one will take around 6 years to build. The other 4 mining ships will be going to Europa, one of Jupiter's moons. A small station will be constructed there first (consisting of 24 of my modules I used earlier in the game, self sustain about 25 people). One of my construction space stations will also be moved there. The cylinder stations around Venus are going to be built around Europa also, it has many of the volatile resources needed to fill the stations and a few moons around have the rest. Since only 4 mining ships are working on this, it will take around 9 years to build one station. While there, efficient means of harvesting h3 from Jupiter will be researched.

Waiting to hear from the NWO members who owned Sweden about the trade offer, I only knew of one and PM'ed him already. I know the oil discussion is over, just wanted to point out that my main task at the beginning of the game was getting people into Nopec (not all caps since it isn't an acronym) in order to reduce oil consumption. The countries that joined would be getting more money at the beginning since demand outweighed supply. Slowly that would diminish until supply and demand met, at which point Nopec members would be making the most money. Then as supply outstripped demand because of all our increased prices, we would eventually make the same as non OPEC members and then after that, less. During all this time members were building infrastructure that would make up for the lost oil money. Since we sold less oil than OPEC members, there is more oil left for us. That is the oil that was being used for the rockets to get into space, which are no longer necessary because of the space elevators. Also as part of the infrastructure being built with the extra money Norway started a state owned car company that didn't have any cars that rely on oil.

Alright, I decided to start playing again (I have been keeping up reading). An update will come later, just want to get a few things out there. First, I got Finland when hedgehog left. Would the NWO countries who own Sweden like to trade Finland for Sweden? I would prefer to have my two countries right next to each other. This trade would be retroactive, meaning a retcon of the last few "years" and we all assume that I got Sweden right when he left and the NWO got Finland right when he left. So all improvements the NWO did to Sweden were actually done to Finland, and all the improvements doom did on my behalf for Finland were actually done to Sweden. [hide=prospective new map][/hide] That took longer than I expected, more updates later.

Today I am posting Alona Tal. She has been in a few things, I first saw her in Veronica Mars but kind of forgot about her until I saw her again in Supernatural. [hide=] [/hide]

Man I haven't made a post in here in forever... and I've watched a [cabbage] load of movies/TV lately. Extract - Mike Judge, Mila Kunis, Jason Bateman, Kristen Wiig, need I say more? OK, I will a bit. Not quite as funny as Office Space, but better than Idiocracy. They all have that same sort of feel to them where they aren't laugh out loud funny but are still enjoyable. Blood: The Last Vampire - I haven't watched a movie that I didn't like in a long while, so this was a bit of a shock. It was pretty bad. Cliches abound in it, and not in a good way. The acting left much to be desired. It wasn't even good as a mindless action flick.

I'm looking for a handgun that uses .22 LR bullets. Is the Walther P22 my best bet? I can get one for a little over $400 and I don't want to spend more than that, hell I don't even really want to spend that much.

The problem I have is my computer is no longer connected to my TV, so the only stuff I could rent would have to work on PS3. I don't believe amazon or Netfix does, and if we are talking free+legal I know Hulu doesn't work.

Yeah, saw this on digg earlier. Never was a fan of renting/buying data files, that's why I've never used amazon's.
