  1. I only own one gun and two bows. The gun is a Mossberg International .22 702 Plinkster: I have a really weak bow from when I was younger, probably 10 pound pull, just a kids bow I got when I was 8 or so. No accuracy to speak of. Then I got a training bow when I was 13 or so, I have it cranked down all the way so it's around a 45 pound pull (65% let off). It has OK accuracy from what I remember, haven't used it in years.
  2. She is pretty hot also, but I just really like Inara :)
  3. I assumed the thing with the USA too, which would cause even a bigger problem of suddenly disappearing than China. Even Mexico disappearing would have been enough to cause another global recession, they aren't one of the major world players but they are big enough.
  4. Yeah, but it never hit the social media sites until a few weeks ago. Digg had 4 articles about it make the front page just yesterday.
  5. I thought about it, but if I went with Firefly girls I'd probably go with Morena Baccarin first.
  6. I don't see a problem with crying, but there are reasons why men don't usually cry from social status to chemical balances. When you get older you probably won't cry anymore except during the worst of times. Right now I still tear up sometimes, but never cry. The last three times that I've come close to crying have all been listening to a story on NPR (Tienanmen Square anniversary, the riots in Iran and something last week that I can't recall). Luckily this is while driving in the car alone. EDIT: It was "14 Cows for America" on The Story. http://thestory.org/archive/the_story_8 ... s.mp3/view
  7. No, the one you posted is one of the most famous super-models in the world: Alessandra Ambrosio. Not sure who the one you quoted is.
  8. Colonization of space is the best way to guarantee the continued existence of human life. Plus, it is colonizing space and that is just an awesome concept.
  9. I have no idea what game that is but am sure I want to play it right now. Turn based strategy of some sort I assume?
  10. Oh, I forgot to mention in my previous posts that refugees coming into Norway will not be turned away. However, they will be transported elsewhere as soon as possible.
  11. Also the UAE is insanely rich. In 2009 they are the only country that has a larger sovereign wealth fund than Norway. Norway isn't currently researching any new military technology because we are fairly safe, any war would have massive casualties on both sides, plus Norway would adopt a scorched earth policy before allowing another country to take part. Also Norway is the single largest investor in Europe (this is true as of 2009), destroying us and all that wealth would send Europe into another great depression. So we are still concentrating on space based technologies. After re-building the sovereign wealth fund and getting some more funding from building ships for other countries we are starting to build more modules for space colonization. Currently only planned for in this solar system because the cost of building another interstellar ship is too much. We are going to build 8 modules a year, for much cheaper than they used to be, because cryogenics are not going to be needed. At around $2 billion a piece they can be paid for with the interest from the SWF and since 24 are needed will be done in 3 years. They will be taken with one of the prototype ships from the Brazil-Norway space project to orbit 16 Psyche, and will be the living quarters for the miners working on that asteroid. The funds from the profit from building the space ships for other countries will also be put straight back into classified space operations.
  12. I've been meaning to see that for years (it seems like, probably is) now. This time I am actually going to watch it.
  13. Yeah, there are some that are just beautiful. [hide=][/hide] [hide=][/hide] Hmm, I only have around 30 or 40 pictures of women from that era. Need to work on that.
  14. More troops are always appreciated, and I will reimburse you for the cost of the troops here. Norway is still pretty heavy on money, not so much on population. Because of the huge fighting going on around, I guess I should give an update on my military. First, a quote from me 5 years into the game: I never cut spending since then, and have been continuing to build these advanced unmanned aircraft. I haven't increased spending though either. So 15 years later I have a total of 20 Unmanned Stealth Bombers, 60 Unmanned Anti-aircraft Fighters and 100 Unmanned Drones. Most of the costs in those first 5 years went to R&D rather than production, so the R&D funds transferred to keeping more active personnel. There are now 30,000 active military troops with 160,000 in reserve. In other military news that may not have been figured as being military, my space program has continued launching satellites that have an unknown use. There are now 20 satellites in geosynchronous orbit over Norway, which are much, much bigger than normal satellites. The purpose of the satellites are to deter against invasion. Basically they are just mass, in case of an invasion that looks hopeless to deter (which should not be a problem with one of the best military in the world backing me up) Norway will adopt a scorched earth policy. There are enough satellites to destroy all the major cities in Norway as well as create a dust cloud that will cover a good deal of Europe and Northern Asia. So yeah, attacking me would be in no-ones best interest, especially because I have no plans to expand anywhere. Good to hear some are interested in buying the new space craft that are capable of travel in this solar system very well. The citizens of Norway are especially happy because of the space program actually looking like it can make money eventually.
  15. [hide=1. Kristen Bell][/hide] [hide=2. Mila Kunis][/hide] [hide=3. Odette Yustman][/hide] [hide=4. Mary Elizabeth Winstead][/hide] [hide=5. Camilla Belle][/hide] There are many others, and as time goes on tastes change. Sometimes I go for classical beauty like Igrid Bergman, Grace Kelly or Audrey Hepburn. Sometimes I go for the somewhat older ones like Gweneth Paltrow, Jennifer Connelly or Monica Belluci. About ten years ago I would have went with Jennifer Love Hewitt, Christina Aguilera and Sarah Michelle Gellar. Then while watching a TV series the actresses on it usually seem much hotter, even if they don't look as good in photo shoots. For example on BSG Tricia Helfer, Grace Park and Katee Sackhoff. They are somewhat hot normally, but put them in a pilots uniform or that red dress and they absolutely kill. EDIT: Added pictures, also want to mention a few more names: Jessica Alba, Claire Danes, Clémence Poésy and Evangeline Lilly.
  16. Well see the problem is the ship is already away, there's nothing more to join. There is still a little funding needed for receiving communications from the ship but it is basically negligible. However another project is always a possibility. Norway this year and last year dropped the rate that can be spent from the sovereign wealth fund from 4% to 2%, as well as started putting oil money into it again rather than straight into the space program. It is around $300 billion now. The 2% was spent on updating the domestic space flight programs. Norway has been putting more satellites into space in geosynchronous orbits above Norway. The use of these will not be revealed at this time. Norwegian citizens, still elated over the success of the joint Brazil-Norway project are all about anything space related, even if it is ominous satellites over our country. Military updates will be next year.
  17. I was kind of thinking about Firefly at the time :) (if you have seen it you know what I am talking about).
  18. Norway's citizens are getting a little angry their leader keeps on taking one year+ long vacations, so I'll be updating yearly for now on. Right now I am just going to explain why we had to go with cryogenics rather than completely self sustaining modules. To start off, completely self sustaining modules were impossible. Well I shouldn't say impossible, they were just way too big per person. The 48 modules currently are holding 1050 people altogether, with only around 50 awake at one time. Those 50 awake are what are taking most of the rooms and resources, each module could only sustain about one person. Without cryogenics only around 50 people could have made the flight. Now just 50 people colonizing wouldn't be bad, but this was an extremely expensive project. Over a trillion dollars expensive. If only 50 people went that would be at a cost of over 20 billion per person. At 1050 the cost per person is about one billion. We wanted to citizens to feel like they were getting their money's worth. The current modules recycle water at basically 100% efficiency. Even 2009 technology could recycle water pretty efficiently, we just basically perfected it. However food was a problem. A decent amount of food can be grown, and each module did have space for that, but it wasn't quite enough. So we had to create food that gave the maximum amount of nutrients for the density of the product. This was basically a lot of different non-perishable foods mashed together and compacted. They kind of look like bricks, each brick weighs about a kilogram and can feed a person for a month. Other updates will come later after I talk to Brazil.
  19. Somebody can take my turn.
  20. no ill post a new pic this is as revealing as it gets Well that picture makes it too easy, unless it is a trick. Kingdom of Magic (Remake).
  21. That's because there is nothing original that people do, there are just lots of kids on this board who think that you can actually be different than other people. I once thought that too, and thought the older people who said you aren't really all that different were stupid. But they weren't, they just had more experience.
  22. Sorry about lack of updates from Norway, I have just finished college last Sunday and have been doing next to nothing at all since then but lazying about. A quick update since I have to go to a party here in a minute. Norway has finished construction on all modules for the Brazil-Norway space project. Started using some of the tax money that usually went into other projects, as well as all the interest on the sovereign wealth fund and when we found out no one else was going to help fund we took the needed money out of the fund. So the fund is down to about $250 billion USD now. All 48 modules are done, and being shipped to Brazil which has the capacity to get them into space for construction. More updates about this next year.
  23. We'll I was avoiding this thread because much like the unique thread it will be filled with many people who think they are unique but really aren't. However it is a good place to ask the question, how many people here urinate in the shower? There was a story on digg today about it and it seemed like most of the comments were about people who did. I never do because I thought it would be weird, but now I might.
  24. I haven't read his website in years. I didn't recognize any of that as being one of the stories I read, so I guess it's a newer one. They were always pretty funny, once you get past the fact that he is an [wagon]/douchebag. I saw this on digg earlier today but neglected to click it because I am not too interested in it, I won't see it in theaters but I will see it someday.
  25. I'm pretty much have no aspirations for life, and am pretty bored with it already. Now I am just continuing to exist in the hopes that someday I will have 5 things I really want to do before I die.
