On these lawsuits, I'll quote one youtuber who said this regarding RIAA vs individual downloaders: Those kind of scare tactics are only scary as long as you can keep them up. And lawyers are expensive. It's absurd to think that individual bot users will be intimidated by sporadic legal threats when the ratio of bots to normal players is apparently almost as bad as pirates to non pirates among internet users...

I've been reading some threads on botting sites for a while. Funny stuff. I like how every single reference to "Jagex" is "[Jagex]". This bot nuke does look promising, but then again there was a time when I thought the PS3 couldn't be hacked due to the absurd level of security tech SONY crammed into that console. It's likely that client based bots will re emerge sometime in the (near?) future.

What Game(s) Did You Last Get and What Are You Playing?

100% on FFVII Crisis Core. I wish there was some kind of canon defying alternate ending in this one... [hide]Apparently, Zack can kill a GOD, but still can't beat the Army of Fate®[/hide] -
I love me some PSP. Bought that for Dissidia, FF7CC and KHBBS. Epic games. Also I have a GBA emulator. That's sucked up more hours than those three games combined, and that's saying something. I have literally only 2 games for PS3 since I've had it. The only games I give a damn about are being released for PC as well. Gee, should I play with a stupid joystick or a mouse? No mods or a crapload of great mods? PC all the way. Modern TV based consoles are obsolete.

Just finished the main campaign on dissidia 012... [hide]Wow what a terrible ending. I know it's supposed to set up the original 013 campaign, but killing off Kain, Tifa, Laguna, Yuna, and Lightning like that is just unforgivable (I specifically left out Vaan... nobody cares about Vaan). I know it's not cannon, but still... Oh well I bought the game to beat other FF characters senseless with my favorite ones anyway.[/hide] -
Lol ya I've seen this vids. 40+ bots with cannons. Disgusting. <_<

Exactly, if your post is too normal people will just ignore it or post their own thing. There's a reason trolls post controversial things :P Just mention God anywhere around here and it will spark a pagelong debate/flamewar of theists vs atheists until the mods pull out the extinguisher. And yes, I always feel like I kill threads. I guess I'm too normal.

No 99s are really respectable anymore. I used to get "Nice RC cape", but that was because I was in the first 900 people to get it, now there are 13k+ RC capes, mostly from buying runners at ZMI / effigyscape I'd guess. Hell not even completionist capes are all that rare; there are over 900+ people with maxed total now. Just get the one YOU want.

A shame there's over 9000 bots at frost dragons these days. <_< Now to get all 90+

Actually the equilibrium aura looks fairly interesting. It reduces your max hit by 25% but increases your minimum hit by the same numbers. So instead of hitting 1-650 with rapier you'll hit 162-487. Might be good for PKing if you can use it in pvp. You can do more consistent damage and then turn the aura off and whip out cmaul/dh/claws for the KO. -
Sorry, I didn't mean to start an argument, I just felt the need to tell someone about the way I'm feeling. These things are really hard to tell to your parents and other people you love when most/all of them believe 100% in God and I would rather not have them be disappointed in me if I can help it. And for the record I don't mean we will ever fully understand everything, but as of yet we don't even have a loose definition for what God actually is if he in fact does exist in some form, nor for many a phenomenon in the world and universe.
-
I should clarify. I didn't say I didn't care about other people. I said I didn't care much about other people. The much was important. That is to say that I do have some semblance of a desire to make my interpersonal relationships pleasant, but I have never had any regrets when things have gone wrong. To me they're just experiences which are just as valuable as any other experiences. That said, I've never cried at a funeral. I used to hate myself for being so unfeeling, but I've come to accept it. As for personal enjoyment; what I meant by that was more simple pleasure seeking than anything. And as for wanting to understand the true nature of the universe - that was metaphorical. But I don't think it is out of man's reach. Maybe it won't be revealed in my lifetime, maybe it seems impossible now, but then again even 100 years ago computers might have seemed impossible. The attitude that "God works in mysterious ways and is unknowable" kind of pisses me off, frankly. Does God really think we humans lack the imagination to have even the slightest semblance of understanding about him? What could he possibly be that is so unknowable? Is he an extra-dimensional being? Is he the universe itself? Is he (literally) the good in all of us? Is he the manifestation of consciousness itself? I don't think any of those things are totally incomprehensible. While we're asking questions about God, I might as well ask the big one that weighs on the minds of many today: Why has God chosen to fade into relative obscurity for the last 2000 years? Why would he let all of the stories of his greatness become mere legend? I have never heard a satisfying answer to that question. It's always "he's testing us" or other [cabbage] like that.

2.5% for a half hour is pathetic anyway. If you're thinking about using it for a buyable skill, it won't make much of a dent in the overall cost. None of these new auras really appeal to me. Still waiting for 15k points so I can be Count Vlad Dracula. -
As I age I find my faith in God diminish more and more. I am slightly depressed at the prospect that God might not exist, and that life may in fact be meaningless... I have at times contemplated suicide... and yet I find I still have reason to live. I don't live for the prospect of personal enjoyment, I could care less about such trivial things. I don't live to help people - I may sound even colder for saying this, but I don't really seem to care much for other people. Not that I'm a total sociopath - I try to be as respectful as possible. The reason I live is for simple curiosity. I want to watch to world unfold around me. I want to at least try to understand the true nature of this universe before I die. There's just too much to see to give up now. Not that any of that knowledge will help me when I'm dead and yet... I just find it irresistible.

Just finished watching Gurenn Lagann. Several counts of "HOLY MOTHER [bleep]". The premise is beyond the absurd, yet it still managed to be enjoyable rather than excruciating like, say, DBZ, because it's only 27 episodes instead of 275 (30 of which are the frieza fight alone).

Re watched Death Note in English. It was a lot better. I can't believe how many of L's famous quips I missed passively watching the Jap version while playing Minecraft. Also I realized why I hate Near. Precisely because he has no funny moments, at all. Not even morbid humor. Near has no soul. Also I must confess that I just dropped $15 on Misa's notebook (my friend has Light's, seemed fitting). :geek: Tempted to get the State Alchemist's watch, not because I'm a huge fan of FMA or anything, but because it's all kinds of badass. I need something new to watch...

14-Sept-2011 Ritual of the Mahjarrat

1 shard = 8 dust. 1 dust + 1 essence = 10 armadyl runes if you're a 99 rcer. So 80 runes in total max from one shard. To make them you craft air runes as normal at the air altar but with dust of armadyl in your inv. -
What I wanna know is who still RC's for money. It was bad enough paying 140 gp per ess and getting 220 per nat, now it's 93 gp for ess and a hilarious 111 per nat... bloods aren't much better. Just ZMI your lvls if you want the cape. I made a lot of my money by RCing back when it was good, but that boat has long since sailed partly due to all the bots. It was fun when the reward outweighed the risk, but now you're just facing frustration for mere chump change. I'd PK you too.

Anyone else notice that the min you can hit on Glacors with fire surge is 80? When I wear bandos I hit a lot more 80s but with ahrims I hit harder more often. Maybe 80 is the equivalent of a miss? -

[hide]Given that all of the Mahjarrat were only level 350 even after the ritual, it doesn't seem like they're all that powerful. Even Lucien is only level 800, and given how far his HP bar went down after Azzandra's meme-tastic attacks (it's over 9000!!!) he probably only had about 15k hp which is less than corp. I imagine he'd only be marginally harder than Nomad if we actually got the chance to fight him <_< Silske doesn't sound powerful at all given that he relies almost solely on the barrows brothers to do his bidding. It could be an interesting fight with all 7 brothers at once, though I imagine ice barrage would neuter them all handily. In any case it seems unlikely that the player will seek revenge - it doesn't seem in his character. Me? I'd kill him for the hell of it. Unfortunately there is a large disconnect between how our character is forced to behave by Jagex's writers and our actual personalities. :( [/hide] -

Agreed, leaving unstable out just gives more to worry about. Prayer drain is no big deal when there's a fairy ring to Zaranis literally in the same chamber, and bots made sure prayer potions are as cheap as dirt. -

He was trying to turn you into a wight to make a pawn out of you. Weather you're working with Azzandra or his slave, it's all the same to him. -

[hide]I gave Bob back his collar which he graciously accepted. As for the notes, he says I shouldn't be waving those around in public. And the necklace means nothing to him. He was fairly surprised to learn that his collar was key.[/hide] -

Anyone know how to avoid the cutscene crash? I've crashed 5 times now and I can't finish the quest. -
Nevermind, I bruteforced it. [hide]For me at least, it fit vertically right between the two carvings on the far right. Just move it up and down on both sides of the collar and flipped in both directions until you get it.[/hide]
