  1. since u had to buy it, isnt any quest reward etc. I think u'll have to buy a new one. ohw and its tradeable i just remember so the other player will get it and you will 100% sure not get it back for free from any npc. Ouch not the best thing to pk with then :( ... but perfect for mage staking :D
  2. Why don't you just get a bit more money and get guthans? Much easier to operate and simple too. How is it easier to operate? You depend on luck with guthans (sometimes the special dosen't happen when you hit high and sometimes you hit 0s when the special happens). This gives you a steady supply of food.
  3. What's the benefit? Umm... nothing in terms of points I'm guessing but they heal 8 so you could grab a bunch of bones and heal up using those, and using banannas on the chutes. And there is a chance peaches give more points.
  4. ... I think it will be quite while before someone actually tries that  U just go to general store with your item, click value and you can calculate all the others... ;) Oh... I thought you actually had to high/low alch them  ... which would be completely insane.
  5. I 'bother' going there all the time to mine gold. I'm surprised more people don't. And a useful tip for those who do, bring your ring of charos
  6. Mabye that might work in RSC, but if it were anything like RS2 they'd grab it before the 'animation' completed  Hmm... If RuneScape were real... well let's just say I'd lock my doors and windows to keep out the PKers.
  7. Its like 7-8 mil on RS forums. Dunno about the price ingame. That is pretty expensive for somthing like that.
  8. Only 13 mil, eh? The full set is worth 50 mil atm.
  9. A friendly tip: Swap those bloods for souls and put on a set of full rune + kite (has to be full helm) + d vamps + mud battle then go stun gaurds in varrock while behind a fence like crazy. REALLY fast xp. OH, and you should also read the forums more often. Might save you from a few blunders in the future

  11. +15 ea? Ya know, that actually matches ancient staff! Master wand must be awesome :) As for infinity robes, They'll probally be marginally better than mystic. But of course insanely harder to get. EDIT: HOLY MOTHER OF GOD! I checked master wand out on forums... +40 magic Attack +35 Defense. I kid you not. Check it out for yourself. That is just... insane. i dont that, but hey if its true, thats some good staff. Yeah, now that I think about it, they were probally lying. But hell its always possible, considering it's going for 15-20 million gold. Can someone on theese forums that has it please confirm?

  13. About the CW armour... that isn't actually useful, it's just a status symbol really. The new robes and wands, at least the higher end ones, are actually very useful. Having said that, I think they should indeed be untradable. There should be at least a few useful items that you have to put time and energy into instead of just money you didn't work for like profits made from rares' rising prices.
  14. Thanks a million for the warning, man. I might have lost my account (horrified look). I tell people about this site whenever I tire of their constant questions. Fortunatly it's been awhile. And, sorry about your account man. I never though Jagex would sink to the grumpy level as Disney did long ago. About that, my sister told me a story about how her friend on VMK (virtual magic kingdom) got permanantly banned for attempting to bypass the word filer, which stupidly enough filters out numbers. Another one of her friends got permanantly banned for jokingly saying she was staff. Then the 200-250 friends she had (she was well known apparantly) protested ingame. Then a staff member appeared and threatened to permanatnly ban all of them if they didn't stop. Every part of this story is true, or at least is as accurate as what she told me. Okay, mabye Jagex isn't this bad, but this is definatly a step in that direction.
  15. I think it is very unfair that Jagex makes you play all four games in order to get anything. All of the items take certain ammounts of all four types of pizazz points. In other words, they make you use your nats, your cosmics, AND your laws. The Alcamists playground, in my opinion, is the best in terms of cost/magic experience. You get exp from the alchs themselves, and you also get bonus magic exp = 2x the money you deposit. And on top of that, occasionally a green arrow appears next to an item. During that period, that item dosen't take any runes to alch. I don't care if it only alchs for 1 gp, I always alch the green arrow item when it appears.
  16. Although I myself do not own a rare, and I probally never will, I am totally opposed from wiping them from the game completely. Like you said, rares are a 'coin sink', which in effect displace large ammounts of money around the economy, keeping prices from rising. If high leveled players had nothing to spend their millions on, then they'd spend excessive ammounts on raw materials, and they may be happier to pay much higher prices for these raw materials, effectively driving up the price for everybody, even for blue collered mid-high leveled players like myself. Sellers can't tell the difference from the rich and the not-so-rich. And that would be a VERY bad thing. I do, however, think that Jagex should do somthing to keep the prices from rising. If the prices keep rising as they are, eventually only the most rich and elite players are going to be able to afford them. And if the not-so-elite players have nothing to spend their millions on because they can't quite afford any of the rares... then you can expect pretty much the same scenario as above, eventually. I think, that they should release an NPC, or have an existing NPC (preferably the Wise Old Man) sell rares at just above their current market price. Initially nobody will buy them, but as prices on rares continue to rise, some players might be happier buying it from the NPC, who isn't going to keep pricing it higher. This would in effect provide a ceiling for rare prices, and mabye if it tickles Jagex's fancy they could gradually LOWER the prices on the rares sellable by the NPCs as the market prices fluctuate below that price so that eventually some of the players a bit poorer than the ones now that can afford them can afford them. That way, the 'coin displacer' would be more effective and prices on raw materials would mabye even drop or at the very least stay the same.
  17. One small favor was the biggest reward in terms of xp. 20k xp on herblore meant that I could then go ahead and do the legends quest. And make prayer + super attack potions aswell :D Desert treasure would be the best by far in terms of unlockable features. (others in that category would include underground pass for the iban staff + iban blast spell, mournings end part 2 for the death alter, regecide for d hally, and roving elves for crystal gear).
  18. My RSN is peronix. I commonly mispell it as peonix. It is kind of hard to see that I missed the 'r', so I get kind of nervous everytime it happens. I think 'OMG i could have been hacked' then, 'ok, i'm going to type my username and password in again really slow and accuratly to make sure'. A few times I've mispelled it even then and almost had a heart attack. Then I type it in again to find I have, in fact, NOT been hacked, I just mistyped it. Twice.
  19. Welcome to my world  I'm in the same boat as both of ya. No dragon drops, best thing I've gotten was a gold mystic hat within a few turns of a half key. Oh boy was that sweet. Second luckiest thing was seeing some guy die at agility arena, whom I quickly raced over to and picked up a pile of 30,000 coins. Then in about 20 seconds I got a strange box for a loop half :)
  20. I agree. Mournings end was so annoying that several times I screamed aloud. Seriously. I didn't know that 70 agility was reccomended for those handholds...and, as a consequence, I used three trips, and three inventorys of lobbies continuously failing that cursed thing. Not to mention the 6 prayer potions I used to protect myself from those bloodthirsty shadows. Thats the next thing - all the while I was doing that quest, those shadows continually proved to be a nusane, constantly smashing me for 13s and lower. Several times I ran out of run energy. Then came the boring part. After I had FINALLY completed that exceedingly tedious puzzle, that damned dwarf gave me a 10-foot-long list of random n00b stuff to get him. Why the hell did he need any of those things anyway? I don't know. After I finally did all that then I FINALLY finished the quest. Desert treasure I've never done, so I don't know exactly how hard it is. From what all of you guys say on the forums, it is really, really hard, and takes tons of prayer potions and food. Which I don't have because I don't have thousands of sharks, runes, arrows, potions ect like many of you do. Mabye someday I will, but I will still dread that pyramid. All the money and supllies in the whole of runescape won't shield you from the aggrivation caused by that. Unless the pits are somehow decreased by your agility. Which I doubt (are they?). If I KNOW somthing is extremely tedious I get nervous about even doing the things that lead up to it. Expecially if those things are extremely hard in themselves.
  21. And maybe you have to give up your soul for soul runes? Or, mabye you could use the 'soles' from Awusah's shoes instead?
  22. Wow, great idea. I think someone should suggest that to a mod... if they throw a gnomeball at a noob while they're doing somthing, and they don't even respond or even look likey the noticed, chances are they're autoing. God, thanks ALOT, now I just HAVE to go do it myself .
  23. When I saw your vauge title, I knew exactly what it was about. I just knew someone was going to complain about this. Remember, they said "Towards the end of the year". That is open to some interpretation, as they didn't give any relative date. So, towards the end of the year could mean slightly before or slightly after the end of the year. Or, mabye Jagex didn't get it done in time. It happens all the time - just look at how many times the release date of "Zelda: Twilight Princess" has been pushed back!
  24. Yeah, that makes sense, especially since devious minds, the first installment in the series, has REALLY high requirements. Relitive to the difficulty of the respective skills, of course.
  25. Is it adamant platelegs?
