  1. I prefer professional. Just more exciting to me because it's generally more skilled. Sure, college athletes play for fun and passion instead of money...but so what? I don't see what that has to do with anything. The people that are playing for money are able to play for money for a reason: they are good at it (well, most of them anyway :P) It's not like since they play for money, they no longer have to be enthusiastic about the sport or work hard or anything. So I've never seen how that's relevant. Besides, many college athletes play solely to get into the professional leagues, so in a way, they actually are indirectly playing for money. I keep up with both and enjoy watching both, but professional games are more enjoyable.
  2. Correct me if I'm wrong, but wasn't the chest nerfed? So now the stock will go to 0 randomly for grapes and jugs. I'm pretty sure that happened.
  3. If you aren't a member, no, there is no way to play that version of Runescape anymore.
  4. If you play Runescape by clicking the big "Play Runescape (existing user)" button near the top of the main page, to the right of the "Create a new account" button, you are playing RS2.
  5. Certs were taken out in RS2 as you can just make any unstackable item into notes. In RSC, you go to Miles, Giles, or Niles in Draynor to get your items certed. Only certain bars, ores, and fish may be certed though.
  6. A question for everyone who has gotten their accounts unlocked: what information have you filled in? I have been filling in all the recovery question answers, a transaction number, an agreement number, and three previous passwords, but no luck. All of them have gotten rejected and qhen I go to track the query, the message from Jagex tells me to give them more information. This is getting frustrating... So what information did you guys put in to get a successful unlocking? Is there anything else I can do? Any help would be appreciated.
  7. I am trying, but it doesn't seem like it's doing anything. I am giving them the answer to all 5 security questions (the capitalization may be off, but that's it), my agreement number, my transaction number, and three previous passwords. However, it says that it can't change my password automatically and gives me the tracking number. When I go to track it, the message asks me to send in information (previous passwords the first query, and agreement/transaction numbers the second query), information that I already sent in. So I don't know what to do now. Is there anything else that I can do? Or am I basically screwed. I'm filling in all the applicable questions on the query form, but nothing is happening. :?
  8. There is no way this is a coincidence. My friend has also had his account locked, and he doesn't have the same password on both sites either. Where did you get this information that Jagex only locked the accounts of people with the same password?
  9. Well this is a completely different situation. People can't get your rs password out of thin air now, can they? How can you be sure that it is connected to this situation? What are you talking about; how is it a completely different situation? I was playing Runescape like normal, stayed constantly logged in for a few hours as I was just training and writing a paper at the same time. I accidentally log out for about 30 seconds, and when I try to log back in, I get that account locked message. I'm virtually positive it is related to this. How can it not be? Do you know how huge of a coincidence this would have to be, given all the circumstances? :? And yes, I agree with you that people can't get my RS password out of thin air. I don't see what that has to do with anything though. No one has it except for me. My account wasn't hacked, it was locked. :?
  10. That's not true at all. My tip.it password and Runescape password were completely different, yet my account was locked. I sent in an appeal to get my password changed back, and when I went to go track my query, their message said that they want more old passwords from me. Now how do I give them this? Do I have to go back and fill out another query form completely? Is there any way to contact Jagex without that form? Was your account locked before or after today? About an hour and a half ago.

I guess on a main, the ultimate goal would be 99 in a skill. Pures however tend to keep certain stats, primarily defense, at lower levels so the "perfect" (ideal) level can be around 40 or 50 or even 1.
  13. If you must ask, you've already come back. You just don't know it yet, but you have. :P
  14. for trainign str i recomend a d scimi Omg I can't stop laughing  It's really just unbelievable...I was about to submit without adding that last bolded part in, but I knew some morons would suggest a dragon scimmy, so I decided to reiterate my point in bold. Looks like that was useless... Anyway, torag's hammers and the flail both have the aggressive option for their highest attack bonus, so that's not a problem. The torag hammer is higher attack (however slight it may be) and also cheaper, so it's the clear choice. Now it's a matter of whether to get the hammers or the great axe.
  15. Hey, would you look at this...Torag's Hammers are 85 crush attack with 72 strength, making that clearly better than the flail. So now I'm down to either the hammers or the great axe. I've tested dragon dagger vs. dragon long, and the long is better. So the dagger's also out of the question.
  16. *Sigh* (Read the post, or at least the bolded part of the post :P ) Go with a d long maybe, but I would take the speed of a flail over a great axe if you still want to use barrows'. This drag long is absolute torture after training with a whip for so long. There must be a better weapon for me. :( The drag long is 69 slash attack and 71 strength. The flail is 82 crush attack and 72 strength with the same speed, so it's clearly better. The great axe is 103 slash attack and 105 strength, which blows the flail out of the water, but is incredibly slow. I'm trying to figure out if the increase in stats is worth the decrease in speed, flail vs. great axe.
  17. As we all know, the whip is unarguably the best weapon in the game. However, it doesn't train strength exclusively, so the dragon scimitar has been deemed the strength-training weapon of choice. Either that or full Dharok. My problem: I have 1 magic and 1 prayer, which means that I can't complete Monkey Madness and get myself a scimitar, nor can I train with the Dharok set effect because I'm not suicidal. So that brings me to my question of what is the best strength training weapon other than the dragon scimitar? I'm thinking it's probably Veracs Flail. However, does the increase in speed make the Flail faster exp than Dharoks Great Axe, which has tons more accuracy and strength? Or is it more effecient to train with the Great Axe? If anyone has any insight on this or if any research has been done, please share. :D Once again, I cannot use a dragon scimitar nor the full Dharok set. I need a different weapon.
  18. Depends on the amount of people on the server: the more people, the faster the respawn time.
  19. That is so random and possibly un-neccesary. No it wasn't. I was simply pointing out that while you're annoyed by one Endemol (the Dutch production company that made Big Brother and earned millions off it), we have to deal with an entire television station run by those people. I think he was referring to the channel as being random and unnecessary. :P
  20. Yep, it's a blackjack. Players can weild them too.
  21. On the front page of yahoo.com today: Clicking on the "More..." link gives you this: Take a look at the top Runescape searchs. :P

Put all your money into the bank and let the interest rest accumulate it. It's very easy to earn money like that, as you can just go get your knowledge (or whatever you learn at the school) up since it's free. Then get a job and make money like that, while accumulating off the interest rate. Game gets old after like 20 minutes.

And you think this is any better of an alternative? What do you consider ̢̢̮ââ¬Å¡Ã¬Ãâ¦Ã¢â¬Åright̢̢̮ââ¬Å¡Ã¬ÃâÃ
  24. Haha, as soon as I read that line, I immediately thought of 1984. 2+2=5

I guess since when Massachusetts became "Massatusets."
