  1. Been talking to you ingame a bit. Best of luck on your new pure and I hope you get some of those goals out of the way pretty quickly. On my staker I was able to get all those lower (1-40's) levels out of the way the couple days. GL!
  2. Lol, when I first saw this thread I thought, "Runesmithie, a biker?!" I'm not exactly one of those spandex warriors you see gliding the streets, I'm more of the give-me-shoulder-pads-and-a-kidney-belt kind of riders... In my area when we say "biker" we mean the second kind as downhill is big in BC as it seems to be the MTB capital of the world with Whistler/Blackcomb, the north Shore and all that jazz. So I was thinking you were going to be one of them, but I was wrong. : I see you've picked yourself a bike. Good on you, I ride a bike to and from school and work several times a week but I've never gone for a road bike or anything. The bike I use for everything I bought at $1050 and have spent atleast $500 in upgrades. Good call on going for the helmet. I'd wear one more often although I only own a fullface and in the summer it gets stinking hot. I'd recommend http://www.pinkbike.com to learn a lot more about biking in general and if you have the urge to ask more questions you could join the forums there as it is a very friendly and helpful community. I've been a member there for the past couple years and any question I needed to ask was answered promptly. I think the only thing I don't like about it is that the community seems to be primarily 13-15 year old kids and sometimes there answers are a little muddled up (but right all the same), but then an older guy will answer or one of the trusty mods and it'll all make sense. Best of luck saving on gas. I dont know what you're complaining about though. the price of gas has been $1.15 a litre for the past month here...
  3. Found this one alching in Edge. There was about 8-9 of these people, all dancing around me. Kind of funny... I killed a starnge plant while fishing monks. And my firedn got telied to Scaperune for threatening me... that's how I tell the story anyway :P
  4. People that live in China don't speak English because they live in China and not England. What time is it South Africa when it is 3pm on the Pacific coast(PST)? My girlfriend has been visiting family there for several months and I haven't been able to talk to her or see what time is there yet. Sure, simple answer but what is it? EDIT: I really messed that question up. What i was looking for was, what time is it on the Pacific Coast (PST) when it is 3pm in South Africa and about how long does a flight take to get to Seattle from London (direct flight)? I can't wait til the 28th. :3> Thanks for attempting to answer.
  5. Fremmy Trials. I think anyways. The first day I just went wild on quests. I did Lost City, dwarf cannon, fremmy trials, fishing contest, gertrudes cat and sea slug. It helped that I was prepared for them all too. :
  6. Lol, plus it seems like RS adds a new outfit to the game every month. Keeps me guessing "WTH is that...?" So it's kind of fun. :
  7. Here's muggi's guide for doing it without guthan. Here. And here's his guide to doing it with 60- defence.Here. For you I'd say use the second one because with your lower defense you'd get knocked on for a few high hits.
  8. Infinity Boots and Monkfish. Boots boost magic bonus and the monks heal 16. (very easy to catch, cook and better than sharks imo...)
  9. It's fine to bump an older thread as long as the information is relevant and not just a "OMG REALLY!?!?!" message. Also, I did some PC games today and was getting (with points)... Using magic to get the req. 50 points then I'd whip til ~150 pts. in 55 sec. games I was getting 13k mage exp and hour, 26k Attack exp and 65 pts. per hour. All said, in 1.5 hours I got 100 pts. which (I haven't used yet, but will go to mage) that is about 110k magic exp an hour.
  10. Materials I'll spread this out over the weekend probably. As I get closer to a week off I seem to be getting busier irl. But, soon enough I'll be off boating with my family and I can forget about everything. Until I come back ofcourse...
  11. Thanks for the stalking : And I've found out that the way of the fletch is for me... until 99 that is. Although I've also found it to be alright money, so I'm considering going for 20m exp and that will bring me in a nice 2/3 of the chunk needed for a Red. Then I'll go barrowing or DK.
  12. Not only are the good PKer's often time the RCer's but even if they aren't then they are out actually PKing. Like I said, RC Pking can hardly be called RC pking because proper, skilled pkers enjoy a good fight. Therefore they wouldn't be at the abyss like these guys that are. All said, I guess it's a good way for all those unskilled PKer's out there to waste a few runes, pots and specs... oh oh and time. Often time when I run by a PKer at the abyss it takes them me 6 or 7 runs before they finally connect with a hit. And by the time they've hit me I'm gone or I've dropped and am waiting for the return so I can whoop some wannabe butt.
  13. Fletching: 270k exp an hour. Stringing Yew Longs. Magic: 90k exp an hour. Casting Lvl. 7 Enchant in the Mage Training Arena. Runecrafting: 25k exp an hour. FFL. Cooking: Never actually kept track of it... That's all I know off the top of my head.
  14. I've been muddling this over in my mind and have come to a simple conclusion. and it is... Sure, we runecrafters are "fair game" when we step into the wildy, but isn't some of the fun of pking a good fight? That's like going fishing at one of those Outdoor's Show where they have like 200 trout in a kiddy pool. You get the catch, but it isn't real fishing. I'd expect a good decent pker (Or any sportsman) to like a good fight. I know I wouldn't get my jollies by simply casting into the kiddy pool, I'd rather go deep. And this is why RC Pkers are a disliked bunch of people. They are nothing but greedy, greedy people. If they would like to call themselves good or real pkers then they should actually go after someone who can defend themselves and fight back. But, since they are too scared to actually fight someone (really evident when I or yourself grab some PKing gear and go out there to comfront them...) They are therefore nothing but greedy cowards in my book and don't deserve a title where "pk" is involved. It's more or less hitting a dummy to them. Edit: I forgot to add my bit in about money... One of the arguments from the RC "pker" side of things is that it's easy money. I'd have to say not. When I RC I meet up with several "pkers" a night. They try to entangle, TB and DDS spec me, but it hardly ever works. When they do successfully cast one of those spells through dragonhide or get a couple hits in, I'm gone or I've dropped what needs to be dropped. I've only ever lost 1 glory to a pker, but he didn't get it either. I was able to get to the air alter and die in peace.... What I'm trying to say is if they were concerned about money they would pick a way where they would make more than 180k an hour. If any of you RC "pkers" out there would like a way, just send me a PM. I would be more than happy to help make someone a little richer... and noble...
  15. I figured since I have the time (decided to take the night off of fletching... well hardcore anyways) and update my goals on the first post. I've added progress bars for all of the goals and generally made it easier to understand. I may add in some more bars as goals for my staker, but as it seems it'll be a while before he's in highscores for some skills, he's going to be ignored a little bit...
  16. Wow, imagine that. I have both 1m exp and a green partyhat. (h) i'd probably go for a few mask sets because with al the partyhat sets getting picked up everyones forgetting aboutht the masks... and a few santas. A few hundred will do, I dont want to be greedy...
  17. I can buy all the bow strings for 150-160ea at Seers in the packed worlds. For the bows I make a topic in the RS Forums and I buy form 260-270 ea depending on how many other people are buying. I think I'll buy the materials today, but I won't fletch them til the weekend. I may get the odd 1-2k done now and then between then though.
  18. Starting Experience Ending Experience Level(s) Result All this over this course of 4 hours give or take a couple minutes. Time to sell and get materials for another day. Might take tomorrow off from fletching beacause the word on the street is there's a party at my buddies place... :anxious:
  19. Level 93 fletching another few k bows to string. Got a con. level from a genie too. Til later tonight. Jimmy
  20. As part of my goal for 99 fletching I have been getting some pretty good exp. But, now that (from the 2k bows that I started with) I have made my way upto 12k materials I am planning to still complete each load in one night. To do this it will take just under 4 hours of constant yew stringing. I happen to have my starting experience before I set out on this goal of mine. Starting Experience I'll be in world 9 stringing my heart out, but public chat will be turned off as well as private chat until I am done. When I'm done I'll turn em on and start selling 12k yew longs and also start buying 16k materials. Tomorow night's gonna be a killer... Come talk to a "wall." I find myself a good listener while I'm stringing, I never say a peep and will never interupt you. : I'll post with my Level 93 pic tonight as well as the result of my experince run.

I like when they have inventive answers like that. It's better than an answer "Opps! We'll get it done later." or "They'll not be stocked." Everyone who thinks it that's an immature way to answer a question needs to lighten up and A LOT. A game is meant to be fun and to answer a question in the context of the game is fun and better than the automated responses. I know when I go into a store I'd rather be talking with a cheery, happy-go-lucky sales person than some drap boring as hell one.
  22. Barkar. I don't particularily like it, but I guess there's no way to change it. Atleast it's not Babar (anyone remember that show?) or Timone or something.
  23. That's a pretty good guide. Lol, I can see how much time you've put into finding all the times for the respawns. I'm just wondering how many rune ores you've mined via this way? Oh, and how long a day is. I'm sure in several months time when my members runs out I'll go hide on some desolate f2p iron mine and fly at 'er. :
  24. Nice try on Jad. I agree, getting to Jad is easy peezy but then comes the prayer changes... Been talking to you a bit ingame. Goodluck on all your goals and some more of those assualts at the Wildy Lever.
