This is a nice guide and it's wierd how techniques can differ on a simple task like maging steels. For yours, it's probably more efficient getting there and whatnot, but mine I just load up on anti's and stay there for hours. I hope you don't mind if I make a little suggestion to make the guide a more mainstream thing. I noticed in your Blog that you consider suggestions spam, but I'm ignoring that for this one... My suggestion is pictures. Maybe show one of your eqiupment for maging and one of your inventory when you leave a bank. I'm also wondering if you've had much luck there? Last few trips I've made (about 20k chaos used) I've only got 2 Dlegs and a bunch of other stuff. Oh, and one more thing. I can verify the 5 addy bolts and 12 rune bolts drops. I'm not going to get it on video because that is just asking for way too much for such an ineffectual thing as new drops. I'm just tossing this out there because I know it as a fact as do others, and only way you can prove it (other than actually taking peoples words for it) is to go on a trip. If you want to add me I'll be there the next couple days and maybe we could meet up and beat down a few.

This is the second time people have missed the most obvious things in threads in like 10 minutes. I agree, that mod was out to lunch on that call. I don't understand how they pick some of these guys. They must go to fally or maybe even lumby a couple times a day and pick someone that says, "Hi." without any questions or anything. It sure is aggrevating to see all these posts about the way Jagex has made a mistake, aggrevating to us, the players not to people partial to the whole thing. Although, I have seen some very intelligent choices by Mods player mod and forum mods. I even would dare to say the calls are 50/50. : you also missed my point my point is that if someone was stupid enough to trade him he could just alch some ashes or something and keep the phat to sell for high prices he would get major profit unfairly That is in no way unfair. How you could think so is beyond me. If people are looking in the forums they will easily see (unless the happen to be illiterate... Even then what would they be doing playing runescape or looking in forums.) that rares are expensive. It's like buying a green parthat for 150m from someone when they are currently about 177m. There is almost no difference between those two trades, except people are complaining about the 1gp instead of the 150m trade. If you take offence to someone making a simple offer, then you need a reality check please. He's not scamming them, forcing them, or lying to them in order to get someone to sell to him so how is it unfair? And if someone was stupid enought o trade to him then big deal. They obviously don't know anything about the game and if they do ahve that partyhat it must have come from ebay... or they picked one up in '01, cracked the cracker and logged off for almost 5 years and bought membership, logged into the forums before logging into the game, and decided to unload something they have for less than you can find in the corner of the West Varrock bank basement. ^^ That's the only plausable explanation if someone sold a rare to him that makes sense to me... other than people wanting to play along and be a good sport.

It may not be as clean as some of the others, but it is very useful to me because I can just open up another tab and it'll be the TIF, or the Tip.It homepage. (By the way... after you get into the world and want to browse the rest of the web in another tab I'd suggest you turn Java Script back on, as it seems most everything runs off Java... EDIT: I forgot to add in that it's wise to bookmark the worlds as it'll save you even more time getting all of this done.

It isn't abuse. Anyone can do it, it gives no advantages, and it's just simply a graphics error. I don't even think it could be called an error. It's more of an "graphics limit" uncovered.

Take a closer look and you'll relize the dots do line up with the cows. It just takes maybe 2 seconds longer to figure it out... And it's not like this is some urgent "OMG We're all going to die!" graphics error. I would think it would be pretty hard to make the cows bodies bent and morph so they can have all four feet on the ground at the same time.

Wowser... that level cost you 500k. I've yet to start construction, but when I do I'll do it like you are. I'll sell off a few things and go big. Goodluck on your "dream house" and some mroe con. levels :thumbsup:

That would be some great fun. I'd love to play rs on my 54" lcd tv :twisted: Although, it may be a little creepy to see a 8" Jimmyd17 running across a tv all day...

Thanks for the comment. A nights work is done. I cut, fletched and alched 1k yew longs with plenty of castlewars in between. I'll get done the other 1.5k tomorrow and start all over again with about 3.5k materials. Til later, toodles.

Level 20 Construction Okay, so I didn't save the picture... but this one comes with a little story. \ My loser brother (loser because he simply is...) turned my computer off while I was in the duel arena. I was trying out some box staking with some friends of mine and in the midst of it all my brother comes home from work and is mad about something so I told him to go away. He did, but only after he restarted my computer. May not be a big deal so far, but wait! It gets better. I had been working on some summer school work (haven't fallen behind. :shame: I'm trying to get ahead for next year : ) So, I have this huge powerpoint opened up (approx. 90/120 slides complete) and haven't saved my days progress on it. Well, all said I've lost about 7 hours of work on it which means I'll have to work through the night to make up the 7 hours and still work on it a couple hours tomorrow so I can turn it in. (BTW, it's a history powerpoint focusing on a Trans-Canada Roadtrip)<-- Incase anyone's wondering. :thumbsup: On to Runescape... I quickly grew bored of ranging blue drag's and have moved on to a couple other money makers. I spent what I made from ranging blues on 5k chaos and everything else needed to kill some steels. I have about 3k left to fire away. I've also started cutting yews to get 80 woodcut, which will give me 3421 yews that I'll fletch (buying the strings) and then I'll alch them because I've managed to mine 3k ess to make nats with. After all that (Or during/between) I'll be haing some fun at the range guild in the little archer minigame trying to get a perfect game of 1000 pts. I know it's easy with full range outfit, but I'm going to try to get it while wearing this little hat of mine. Oh, oh oh! One more little story... Today while I was at work (I'm a stockboy at a local grocery store :thumbsup: ) the power went out and killed half of the lights freezers and fridges int he store. The thing that happened is a Sea Gull (store's right near a bunch of marinas and fish docks) flew into a transformer and blew the thing up. It turned out the power to half of the town I live in (not my half : ) and I got to go home early. Best thing of all this is that I only had to work 4 out of 8 hours of my shift but the boss said to everyone "Fill out the full day" So I got a "free" $60 in a sort... No need to worry no Gull was harmed in the making of my extra money... oh dang, I forgot about the little bugger that flew into the transformer... yeah, he's dead...

I know where you're coming from. Mine gets reall annoying because i stay on for like 30 mins at a time before I log off again and then I have to enter it again and again lol. But I do think it's worth it to me anyways because I tuck my partyhat in everynight and want it to be safe and worry free :

Thanks for the reply. As for my staker... I bought members with him from paypal, but the transaction hasn't been completed yet. I expect it to be done in the coming days and from there I'll spend the first day trying to get some noobie stakes going, and try to make enough for some upcoming armour and weapons... :P I'll try to get 70 attack and maybe 40 strength before I get some more defence levels because with 70 att and 40 strenght it won't change my combat almost at all.

No levels today, but I did finally get around to finishing the Watch Tower quest. I got 1 clue today which wasn't the greatest but you'll see a little bit further on. I did very little on runescape yesterday. I wasn't able to get on too much, although I was able to make 1k natures and have another 1k essence in the bank that I might make tonight and that would put me with enough money and materials to make about 20 runs at barrows. I also have the iron ore and bars to make 29k iron knives, that with the 11k i already have will net me another 1.8m. I'm slowly making my way back from the cost of my Green Partyhat and I'll be on my way to a red in no time :D (Only 31m to go!)

Lol, I had one like this the other day but the guy was calling "dibs" on my loot for the next run. :notalk: I think yours was a great read had me laughing a bit irl. Isn't it just as annoying when someone comes in and tries to drag the conversation away from what the topic is was set on... There seems to be too much of that on forums, but I guess that's just the way life goes

I also don't think that you'll remember me, but I remember you getting 99 magic through stuns. \ (I'm killing myself laughing because I opened up the narrator on the windows options and I'm racing him to type. For some reason it's very ammusing.)

Got My Little Dueler... to 43 attack, 30 strength and 40 hits today befor I took him pking for a bit. (Mage level even owned level 1 Varrock) Got maybe 2 or 3 kills and died once because I lagged and got teamed on world 3. Jimmyd17 got a level today in my hopes of getting a couple more million to start barowing (again) with. Level 71 Mining That is also my first mining level in over a year since I became a member. Only managed to find the time to mine 52 addy ore in that time too. :thumbsup:

He's combat 49 at the moment and I'm currently training on Hill Giants until atleast 60 40 60 or 60 50 60, then I'll make him a member and go to crabs or something for a while. mrmyk, :-$ Lol

One of the little cycles I like doing quite a bit is doing about a week at barrows getting ~15k chaos and a bunch of magic exp. Then I idle my way down to the Dust Devils for some range exp, fire runes (and the hopes of a D Chain drop....) After that I go over to Brimhaven and slay some Steel Dragons in the hopes of some legs/skirts or meds. It worked fairly well I'd say. Through the process I've got countless barrows drops (atleast 120m worth) a dragon chain drop and 2 dragon leg drops. I might go back at this cycle because material wise, it has to potentially be one of the best cycles money wise if you have luck on your side that day.

After a day of Training I give you... My Little Dueler... I worked quite hard on it today, making enough money to buy full rune (with chain) and a scimmy. I also got it to 40 att and def, which will go big when I do Dragon Slayer in a day or two. I'll try to complete the req. quest points by the end of tomorrow. Til Later, Jimmy.

My Little Dueler... I've been working on this guy for about a week now and I've decided to post a picture of my progress so far. I might update it every once in a while, but as it's f2p it may be a while at best before something great happens with it. Let me know what you think of it so far.
