Nice blog! I was gonna make one for my goals from Halloween to Christmas, started writing it, but found I had completed 5 goals atfer one day and decided to leave it until nearer the time. :) But I think it's gonna be pretty similar to yours :P

Jagex did clearly state in the update that it was legs only, I asume for animation purposes. And I know how you feel about the legs always breaking, I don't know why that hapeens.

Wow!!! 63 runs is completely and stupidly insane! I use a pretty similar set-up to yours, only I use ring of life, obby cape, no archer helm and rune boots. And a whip instead of DDS, or both sometimes. I'm only lvl 104 and not willing to take as many risks as you, but my max runs is about 8, but then I prayer against Karil, Ahrim, Dharok and Verac, although soon I'm going to try going straight into the tunnels with 0kc and safespotting as many bros as possible. I may change it to ranging Ahrim, sup restore, Karil, then tunnel. But it might not be for a while.

Basically everyone here is guessing, but considering that nonmembers have 15 skills, and only 40 something bank spaces, and no house, where would someone like mendark 9 keep his capes? It's not going to happen for f2p IMO, but I think there might be an uprise if they're not, so who knows?

I would have to say a nonmember with a prayer cape would get far more respect than anyone (including Tony Blaire and George Bush :-w ). Although there should be a cape for the world hide and seek champion...Osama Binladin :lol: :lol: :lol: :lol:

Maybe every time the total QP goes up by 10, they raise the QP needed by 10, and as someone said, when you fall below that, it simply turns from green to red, or it becomes unequipable when you next log in. As for the bonuses I would go for +1 all CB bonuses and +1 to all stats, so it could help you do new quests if you're 1 lvl too low. That would be awesome IMO...mining rune with 84 mining, smithing r plates with 98 smithing, all when not potted. =P~ chances... Basically we can expect all the capes to be more for show than for stats, so I'm not going to get my hopes up...

It's true that Karil has a low mage def as his mage lvl is only 1. However the melee brothers also have a mage lvl of 1, so Karil should be harder to kill, but it's not always the case, it's just the luck of the moment, like when Guthans doesn't heal for 5 minutes then yo heal 10 times in a row, but generally I've found that is either an extreme, or pretty average, you either kill him in 6 hits, 10-12 hits or 20 hits (don't quote the no.s exactly), it just seems it's more likely that you kill him in 10-12 hits and you get the odd few that take a few more/less hits. Looking at the randoms in veracs tomb, I remember whilst fighting dharok, seeing 2 alchers get a mime at the same time, I just wondered...WHERE IS MY MIME???????

That's what I've been experiencing at barrows :) But when I killed the black dragon in RFD, I had full prayer (68) and it drained in about 3 secs, a friend went to check the next day and his prayer didn't drain like that (he was also doing RFD)

No need to repeat this, so I'll just add in that inflation isn't only about supply and demand, but also the total amount of GP in the game, which is rising by th second, which is what causes rares to inflate so much.

I'm going to say you will, as if you factor in the 5k you've killed with ring, that alone massively raises your chances of getting a chain with or without your ring.

Well we all know that the newest one is like Adamantite so following along with that we could guess Alcolyte would be Rune and then supposedly Partisan would be like Dragon. But that doesn't make sense because Jagex has constantly said "Dragon is the most powerful armor that does not require upkeep" so I'll bet Partisan will just be a level 50 defence. I'd want it to be a level 70 defence armor that's similar to Barrows. It could have a connection where a Temple Knight actually killed the Barrow Brothers and was working with the Evil Wizard who imprisoned their souls and whatnot. The armor could then be very strong but require an upkeep just like Barrows armor. Would be interesting to say the least (Bonus to fighting undead perhaps?). Considering that Dragon has to stay the best, Jagex won't change that, they may release Dragon full helm, kite or plate along with Partisan so that Dragon is still the best, I would expect full helm as Kite or plate would make half shield/chain drops worthless.

I'm guessing that there is already a max time limit as I seem to be getting less time in there every time a new quest comes out, meaning that my quest are staying the same whilst the max is rising, meaning I get a smaller proportion of thew max time in ToG. Although I'm not 100% it makes more sense than allowing 10 mins in there. I think you get about 2mins max, if this thread is still going on Friday/Saturday I will make sure try and confirm this for you. Or if anyone with max qp could find out that would help even more.
