clean it out and remove all drivers (which should be possible from add/remove programs), then re-install the newest version. also, backup all your important data if you really think its about to give.

i never went straight to rs2 when it came out. as rarex explained, rs2 was to much at once. When it first came out i was home with another runescape fan friend of mine, and the first thing we did was jump on rs2 and sit there going ohh look at that and wow look how thats done now. I, level 7 at the time (my previous account had been hacked and stollen because we were stupid back then and my friend got a keylogger on his comp and i played at his house alot) got killed by one of them highway guards or whatever you call dem near whatever that dock place is called south of fally (i haven't played in a long time and i forget all the names lol), and that put me right of rs2 for several days. I remember a few hours later when i got on rs again i didnt even bother going onto rs2, i just went straight to classic, and ended up mining with someone else who also had lost all there items to rs2 to try and get some $$$ again. he was really friendly, and i remember that being the last time i ever met a really true friendly person, who was willing to help me even though he was in just as bad, or even worse seeing as he would have lost alot more (im level 7 here). When the item swap thing did come out, i swapped all my items over to classic, but eventually swapped them back to rs2 a few days later, because all my friends had gone to rs2. I played rs2 for the rest of my runescape history (from level 7 to 98 i think), but never found that great runescape community classic had.

ok heres what it says: +3.3v is 15 Amps +5v is 25 Amps +5vSB is 2 amps (im guessing thats stand by but ill post it anyway) +12v is 11a (12v1dc and 12v2dc, but im guessing thats cos there 2 leads or something) i dont know much about amps and volts and stuff but im guessing that aint too bad.

i was wondering that. I pulled the side of and had a look at the label. It did have a brand name (fsp group inc.) Its a 315W model number FSP315-60PNA-E(PF) which im guessing isn't to great (although it does the job atm) if i was to upgrade to a 7900GT or something similar what brand/wattage of PSU would you say i REQUIRED and how much more would i be paying if i was to get a really good one so i wouldn't have to replace it again later? thanks for all your advice so far!

hey. Im here to make another post that most people will probably know the answer to like the alphabet. I have never upgraded anything in my pc before (hopefully that will change very soon) and im looking for advice on upgrading my graphics card. I currently have a 128MB ATI Radeon X300SE PCIe x16 (you should be able to make scence of that) Anyway every game i want requires atleast 1gb ram and 256mb a graphics card. Ive already sorted out what ram to get. the problem is i dont know what card to get. I know it has to be PCIe x16 or whatever its called and it has to be compatible with my motherboard (i think) and my power supply has to be big enough. If anyone could give me the names of some good value for money (not to expensive) atleast 256mb PCIe x16 cards or any tips on installation that would be great. Im sorry im beeing such a pest but tomorrow im goin to my uncles who lives near where theres a computer market every weekend, so it might be a while before i get anything if i dont get it tomorrow. Hey everyone. its been a long while since ive made a post on these forums. anyway, I need some help upgrading my computers RAM. I havent ever upgraded anything before so i don't have much of an idea what to do, except for what ive learnt searching google. I found a test thing on a website called crutial.com or something, that told me this: Now i know that for some systems you have to install 2 chips at once or something, but i cant work out whether or not thats the case for mine. Can anyone tell? any other advice anyone could give would be greatly appreciated too! thanks

i have exactly the same problem with my pc. i have a 160gb HD and win xp only shows 142gb. its in NTFS. I was reading up on it ahwhile ago, and aperently win xp has a problem where it doesent read the whole lot or something (i forget). i had a link to it on the windows KB somewhere, but ive lost it. ill get googlin. *starts googling* *gives up* *searches in book marks* :) got it! http://support.microsoft.com/kb/316505 read that. basicly it has a few possible sollutions (described in there): Method 1: Run Windows XP Setup to Determine Whether the Hard Disk Space Is Accessible Method 2: Update the System BIOS or Use a Boot Manager Method 3: Use Fdisk or a Third-Party Partitioning Utility basicly just read the link. hope it helps

hey everyone! haven't posted in a while. anyway i have a flash drive and in it theres some shortcuts to some files on it. the problem is on my system it shows as F:and on the computers at school it shows as E:. i wanted to make a shortcut to as file on my flash drive thats in a folder above where the shortcut is (eg. shortcuts in: F:\folder1, file i want to link to is F:\folder1\folder2\file[Caution: Executable File]) I was reading on some page i found on google you can use %CD% (Current Directory). eg. the shortcut would be to %CD%\folder2\file[Caution: Executable File] but that says its not valid. is there a way to do this???

ok, so i have me phone workin fine with phonetools, then after im copyin some stuff from me phone to pc it comes up with a message saying the link was broken by the phone. i close media studio and discover that it thinks the phones not connected. i unplug the phone and put it back in, it detects it i think cos somethin happens and then it comes up with a message "phone tools is unable to connect with your phone" i click redetect and it finds it as per normal, then installs it or whatever it does. it then promps me to select which device i want to use. i select Motorola USB modem hit next twice and it comes up with device detection or somethin. then it says not accessible or in use by another application. :wall: :XD: ok i think i know whats wrong, but i dunno how to fix it. ive had this driver installed for some time now that charges my phone over the usb cable when i have it connected to my pc, which works great, untill now. the phone is still charging even though phone tools says its not accessible? could that driver be causing phone tools to be unable to use it cos it is being used by the charging thing??? if so how do i remove that driver??? ive had a look around and cant find it anywhere ---- here is what im using: Motorola PhoneTools v 3.11h 8/24/2004 Motorola RAZR V3 connected via USB cable Win XP MCE 2005, SP2 with i think all the new updates ( i havent cheacked in a couple of weeks ) if u need anymore information just ask thanks 4 ur help!

carbon runs fine for me. only problems i have is it occasionly crashes (everyone says it does that) but im not to worried.

lol ive been in a smash, but it was when i was like 5, i dont remember details. i remember some small parts (probly cos of my adreniline making my memory better). i remeber seeing the car comin from somewhere (the oposite side of cross road, its a kind of screwed up cross road though, theres a exit road from a freeway with to smaller roads joining in almost the same place, but not exactly opposite). i dont remember it hitting, but it obvesly did. next thing i know my mums out of her seat scrambling to get me out of the car. i seem to remember asking something like "why are you getting me out" which i surpose is a pritty dumb question now i have a brain bigger then a 5yr olds. all i remember after that is seeing me mums old commy smashed in at the front left with both lights broken lights, that kind of gave u the eyes of a devil with the 2 smashed lights the eyes. i then remember trying to calm my mum down as she sits down in the gutter crying. after taht i was in an ambulance with me mum and the women from the other vehicle which took me to a hospitatle for a check up (i had nothing wrong, we were all fine :D ) and then thats about all i remember except for me mum driving me grandpas car (he can use me grandmas cos they dont use dem for nothin) for the next few weeks while me mum goes to court i persuim and waits for the insurance payout. it seems more scary thinking bout it now then what i remember when it was happening.

im an aussie, a proud one, and im not a city guy either. i live in the country, and have dial-up intenet (hate the s***) because adsl and saterlite is the only form of broadband available and has only been available for a little while. (i would have adsl but my dam dad thinks theres no advantage in it) as far as im concerned Australia is sufuring a bad drought, but my grandpa (he was born in 1921 i beleive, hes 86 i think) said they had a drought like this back when he was a kid. he also said that after it ended it rained so hard u could barely go out side (havent they said somethin recently about a weather pattern ending and we can expect rain). its a natural process of drought about every 80 years, but it has been worsened by climate change. australia is not dying, its just having a bad period just like teenagers have mood swings (great days, then bad days) cos of there hormones or whatever. it will be better eventually, but we just ahve to make it through. i feel sad for the poor farmers farming in the next 100 years, the next drought will be much worse then this one. lets hope we wake up to climate change!

same, although i hate doing it. i just seem to stare at the sidewalk and try not hit the cracks automatically sometimes when i walk places. i believe i picked it up from a story when i was a little kid where some boy couldn't step on the cracks otherwise a ghost or something comes out, dunno i just have that in my head. EDIT: same as me, maybe every few weeks! it fells like your experiencing it for the second time and you know what happens, although you dont really know what is going to happen next. i looked up OCD on google cos i didnt know what it was, and found that in wiki. dunno if its the same as taht quote, but on occasions maybe every 3 weeks or something i get a bad thought about someone (usually a friend)(like disgusting thoughts i dont want to think, you dont really want to know). i usually stop thinking of it and think of something else and that fixes it untill another 3 weeks. i swear i have a trace of OCD or something, its not bad though, doesent seem to effect me anyway. thanks god for that!

i dunno if this will work or not just thought of it. go into intenet options in ie and goto advanced tab. scroll down to the java section and make sure the box is select which says "use JRE " (thats what it says on mine) or something.
