If it turns out to be an Elder Artefact then it's likely Armadyl now has two of them (he told us he used two artefacts to ascend to Godhood, but won't tell us what one of them is) so make of that what you will. My theory (although a little far fetched and likely to be shot down) is that Armadyl is attempting to collect as many artefacts as he can in an attempt to destroy them to prevent further wars. Assuming Bandos' mace is an Elder Artefact, it would explain why Armadyl willingly went to war with him as he knew defeating Bandos would be the only way to obtain it. Similarly if he wants the SoJ, possibly to help destroy the other artefacts then defeating Bandos helps him there too (assuming Sliske would ever give it up).

So Armadyl, who was most vocal in his disagreement with Sliske's competition now heads the leaderboard in God kill count. Sliske must be so pleased with himself.

So if any unclaimed items are removed and you get a treasure hunter key as compensation, if you get a rubbish item on the day of the update just don't claim it and try for something better later :p RIP Yelps - the JarJar Binx of Runescape.

I would be interested to know what their plan for Seren is should the Elf City fail to win in the poll given that they say she is heavily tied to Prifddinas. Got an Airut slayer task (125) and found them quite fun. My only real gripe with them is that bonecrusher + DHN doesn't restore prayer points (or at least it didn't yesterday) so I found myself chewing through prayer pots more than I would have liked. Also that one task drained my chaotic claws of 25% of their charge...
