attaboy, thats much better. i just finished making myself a sig on my tablet yesterday otherwise i would take it. Fix it so the text doesnt move when the smoke comes out. This isnt CC but, if possible i would also like to see hexagonal smoke (instead of the crushed paper/random shape smoke) just cuz im that techy kind of guy.

appreciate the idea but runescape is not made/associated much with america. cheesy and cut/pasty.

Pixel animation is usually too hard to have excellent quality so ill give you credit for getting this far... didnt blow my mind though.

well you didnt put much effort into the backround, id advise starting over with a new idea.

well nobody can tell you how to draw a rune scim like that, you kind of have to experiment with it until you feel you get it right.

Yeah next time you should make a backround, add some flare to the clothing, make the whip a wee bit wider, distinguish the fact that he's using ancient magic by giving him an ancient staff or something like that...

The mage has a potato head with a wig of blonde hair. The sample is bugging me though. curse this sample vision.

Looks like what you need is photoshop, its very nice for a paint sig but plain and uninteresting. You can download free trials of it i think or buy it for $100.

yeah, dont use that horrible text in that backround. Comic Sans MS is NOT a good font for that. Unless you emboss it, outline it with black, and multi color it just like you did the bg. Reminds me of those Apple Ipod commercials or some modern art.

you overdosed on spraypaint. that stuff could kill ya. :wink: Get away from the spray paint and use shading with the pencil or line tool, preferably the pencil. If your really lazy you could use thick shading (not 1 line at a time, like 6 or 7.) As i always say, a first sig maker is no excuse to be bad but an excuse to get better.

Oh i see what your saying, then this is just a mis understanding. of course nobody would care if its done well, but this time it isnt done right and its buggin me a little. I remmber Jeppoz did one of a grave site where a mage was casting some spell and that looked good with photoshopping. Maybe Colors was the wrong word, maybe what im trying to say is that it looks flat and dull. Not enough pizzaz. lol. Anyway....

You know in school sometimes i get 88% on my tests, and most of the time is generally because i made small errors such as no labels on graphs or i didnt spell something right or i didnt put my last name on. Small problems, they cause me big trouble. So i think its something worth fixing, im not making an issue of it. Simply telling him what i think would make it better.

Sunsets are orange, your sky contrasts with your sun too much, it looks like a card you get from hawaii when someones on vacation that feels sorry for you. It looks like your looking at an ant farm with water in it that ruined all the ants tunnels and decorated it with some trees thats next to a window with the sun outside. those poor ants. 6/10 so far

[image 1] The hand is messed up, it looks like it kinda melted onto what shes holding (Pardon me if its a new item... i've quit rs for the most part...) The light coming from the flame is small, it should have a thin layer of bright light around it, then fade to dark moderately quick. Also her dress and skin should b darker in that light unless your giong to make a brighter foreground. [image 2] The castle looks like a toy castle that you could play in, i believe misterx said to move it back and thats good advice. Hard to do for lazy people like moi, but you really should do it anyway. The whip is nice, good for you for doing a proper one, good shading and such. I like the lava but make it sort of glow off the dirt. In other words the dirt gets really bright when next to the lava then fades back to normal color as it gets farter. gj.

i like the zombie but the axe looks too 2d'ish and kind of distorts the 3d impression of your zombie.

I couldnt resist changing the terrain. There was too much of a contrast between it and the character. Hopefully it's still good? Also I found the water effect you perscribed is much more pleasing, thank you. But which puddle is better? I think this one stands out more Has more of a depth feel Or did i miss the effect you were thinking of? Either way I am glad for your help. Excellent job my young padawan. Now a face is needed to make this piece whole.

NEVER use photoshop/any other photomanip program, to add a backround in a pixel sig. Makes it look bad. You dont need to put sample on it either, im not being mean its just that its too big to be a sig anyway. limits are 300x150 30kb. When your writting text, make it consisant in one corner or multiple corners. But dont put your name up there then your ranged a few picas down. Bad, use shading next time.

save it as PNG. a First Timer is no excuse for it to be bad, but it is an excuse to get better. So dont take your crits too hard or youll make a wagon of yourself. Anyway. Text is bland, file type is bad, whip is too thick, cant tell if its shaded because its too distorted, either center or move your text right or left next time. Right now its leftish middle with tons of space above it. Not good.
