  1. Speculation based on evidence is one thing, wild guessing based on "claims" from Jagex that this has never been done before is another. Feel free to wind yourselves up for the next 4 months though!
  2. How can it sound awesome if you don't know anything about it? I wish people would just forget about it and get on with playing instead of making up crackpot theories which will probably not even come close to what Jagex are making.
  3. Apparently Jagex have regressed to the mental state of a 3 year old with all this colouring in business. Bring out some real content please instead of tarting up old minigames with useless updates.
  4. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=vucarIm4nDA People are saying that the pattern on the green tent also looks a bit like a Dragonkin shadow. Personally i'm not entirely convinced tho.
  5. And to the west. The Ritual site is in the north west of the wilderness where all the Mahjarrat seem to be gathering / have had a presence (Ghorrock Fortress, Jhallan in the ice cave, Zemouregals fortress, the cave where Lucien disappears into during WGS) etc. I'm gunning for something related to the DragonKin considering the find in the Cache.
  6. Yes.. Because watching a youtube video whilst at an altar is exactly like fighting Jad
  7. New skill? I very much doubt it. Quest? Yes.
  8. Jagex have an amazing tracking scheme so i'm pretty sure that anyone abusing this will get perma-banned. Gf accounts.
  9. I had no issues with it when people actually had to be in-game doing work, standing around world 2 trying to find a good bargain or someone wanting to get rid of an item quickly. However now people can just put an offer into the GE, come back a day later and sell it for slightly more. (I do understand that the GE is really the only way to merch properly with the trade limits Jagex enforce. Perhaps i'm just pining for yesteryear).
  10. It's nice how people voice their opinions AFTER the compromise is proposed. It's all very well saying this stuff now but how many of you voiced your opinions on RSOF? ( I know it's a horrible place to go ). You never know, with enough people it could've swayed Jagex, although I very much doubt it..
  11. Maybe we'll be able to colour in our butterfly nets?
  12. I couldn't agree more. Same. I dislike MMORPG's where you are set into a specific set of skills. That's probably most of them..
  13. After the initial reaction to this update the "rants" on the Recent Updates forum settled down into reasoned arguement. This wasn't another Torso incident where brainless PK'ers created spam topics every minute demanding it be changed back. People actually put thought into their discussions. I think in this case because high level slayers have been waiting a very long time for a 90+ monster that it wasn't wise to stick on another requirement ontop of this. 93 Slayer takes a fair old chunk of time to get to, shouldn't that be reward enough without HAVING to play (and complete) a minigame to access the content?
  14. That was a long read! Interesting though!
  15. Minigames such as the Fight Caves were designed to be optional parts of the game that aren't needed for the "main part" of it. People who trained slayer above lvl 85 and then 90 have been waiting for a new monster for ages. And then to be told that you need to complete an optional piece of content which is flawed in many ways is bullcrap. I think Jagex's original idea behind this was "what minigame reward can we give another use to, to make it seem less crap".
  16. I think ultimately this is the right thing to do. Minigame rewards shouldn't be requirements for part of the 'main game'.
  17. I don't think so.. I hope it's something like if you have got to Jad then you can buy this faux-fire cape from Kuradal that degrades once your task is over. That way you have to actually put some effort in going through the fight caves but not waste hours of your time if you keep dieing to Jad through no fault of your own.. *glares at bugs in npc behaviour*.
  18. Considering that the Fury has no other use than for combat then I think it's acceptable that combat and combat only should be used to get an onyx gem.
  19. Can Jagex please work on some content that actually benefits the game instead of playing colouring in with various items.
  20. Do they expect me to stand by Pikkupstix for up to 2 hours waiting for a clue on where to go? Brilliant Jagex. I'm not even going to bother doing this in future weeks. It can go in the trash heap along the utterly boring Phoenix Lair.
  21. I doubt Jagex really care if one country is on yet another public holiday (seriously the USA has like 20 million a year :P) when they are ready to release an update.
  22. I've never heard of Family Day.. So no. I hope they give us a Pancake Day thing on tuesday. :) That would be nice.
  23. No it's annoying and messed up my internet for a few minutes... Jerk. Ontopic.. I still haven't laughed at any videos yet. I just don't get machinima.
  24. After some consideration.. The Fire Cape is an excellent reward for a minigame which can take you over an hour to do and can all be messed up in 5 seconds. It should NOT be a requirement for another piece of high level skill content which people have been waiting for ever since Jagex made the Slayer Skill. By all means let us still use the Fire Cape to kill them, but add a lesser cape to the Slayer Masters shop, have it degrade at the end of your task and cost say 50k? Oh and add a 5/10% hit bonus to Fire Cape wearers.
  25. Set the date and i'll buy you a dress!!!! (was too excited to take a photo of the reward screen <3: ) And
